Starting Wegovy this week

Brand new waiting for 0.25ml wegovy to be delivered today and will start it tomorrow.

i currently weigh 14’7 at 5’6 and would love to lose 4 stone!

anyone else brand new to wegovy and looking for a buddy/chat?

Hiya! Started yesterday on 0.25mg Wegovy. I’m 5”4” and 14 stone. Very hefty….

So far - loss of appetite, having to remember to eat protein / veg / fruit rather than just picking up a handful of cereal. Totally unlike me.

Hi, I started on Sunday.

My goal is to go down 2 sizes - at least one before Christmas. 3 sizes would be ideal but I'm going to keep it realistic.

I have felt less hungry but not as dramatically as I expected. No cravings for sugary things though, which is great because they are my downfall!

I need so sort out my exercise, that's my goal for next week. I'm aiming for at least 2 long walks per week and daily weight lifting exercises at home.

Hi, I started on Monday… started at 12st 13 and am 5’3”. Hoping to lose 3 stone.

Definitely haven’t felt as hungry and haven’t had cravings for sugary stuff which is my big issue!!!

I feel like I’ve lost a bit of interest in food… which is amazing lol

I also started this week on the 0.25mg dose. My starting bmi is 32.7 and my currentgoal is to get to under BMI of 30 over the next few months and hopefully improve my health a bit. So far the injection is easy, and I definitely feel like my appetite and cravings are suppressed. I am already down 3lbs which I was surprised about.

May I ask where you got it from? I’m on loads of waiting lists but can’t find it anywhere. :(

Hi I got mine from pharmacy online. Was really quick delivery once it was approved!

I had my first delivery and consultation this week - I got mine from Numan. I'm going to start at the weekend. Currently 12st5 and need to be under 10st to be a healthy weight.

Placemarking as I keep umming and ahhing about whether to try wegovy. I am always hungry and think about food a lot! Really fed up of it.

I've been waiting for 3 weeks since ordering for mine to be available at Boots, have just asked them for a refund and ordered from pharmacy direct. Hope it turns up this time!

I’ve managed to order it from Lloyds online pharmacy. It’s asking me to upload a video with my ID and standing on the scales. It seems like it’s been approved. £205 including postage.

I ordered from chemist4u. Came really quick.
Injected Tuesday night so day 3 here and already lost 3lbs. It's weird suddenly loosing interest in food. I still get hungry but haven't finished a meal yet, I just stop once I've had enough to take the hunger away whereas before I would keep eating until my plate was clear.
No major side effects so far, frequent oose stools but I've also been incredibly anxious the last couple of days (major event, not Wegovy related) so they could have just been anxious poos

I’m genuinely amazed at how much it has reduced my thoughts about food. I love food, I usually think about it all the time!! I know it’s really early days, but so far so good!
Is anyone calorie counting etc alongside it, or just going with the flow and seeing how it affects appetite/portion size?

I’m watching what I eat and monitoring on MFP. Appetite returned yesterday (Day 4) and had a naughty burger for dinner but then didn’t want to eat till lunch today.

Hoping to lose a stone by Christmas. Menopause weight gain has been a nightmare

I'm just going with the flow at the moment.

Not calorie counting, but trying to eat 5 portions of fruit/veg a day.

How much are you all paying for your wegovy? I’m on Ozempic but the prices have crept up for that over the last year

I'm the biggest I've ever been (14 st 2 pds at 5 ft 3 ins) and did my first Wegovy injection this morning, 0.25.
Haven't felt sick, but definitely loss of appetite. Had a panini about an hour after injection, but no hunger 5 hours when usually I'd be marving! 😄
Ate out for my birthday, no starter, couldn't finish my main but had a pudding. I felt very full and have slight nausea now but nothing too bad.
Tip for injection if you're a needlephobe- ice pack for a few minutes on the area and you don't feel the needle go in. No cravings at all, which is amazing considering I'm due on and always crave sweet stuff.

Paid 200 plus 9 quid delivery on Chemist 4 U; came in 2 days. Had to do an online consultation (questionnaire), it let me order and pay, then wait a day or so for it to be approved before being sent out.

Week 1: I have dropped 0.5 off my BMI and now down to 32.2 🎉 . Had takeaway treat and a few drinks this weekend too, so am pleased that didn't undo the effort during the week.

@Mookie81 a Wegovy pen is taken once a week - so there is 4 doses in one injection pen.

That was the 0.25 monthly pen.
