@Cappuccinopup and @leilani83 - Hi both. My order is also late (due yesterday but not yet dispatched). I contacted them yesterday and this is what they advised this morning by email:

"We have had a influx of orders over the pass couple of days and our pharmacy are currently a backlogged and getting through orders as quickly as they can.
We would like to apologise for the inconvenience and delays.
As soon as your order is dispatched you will be notified."

Not very helpful but some kind of info is better than not having a clue what is going on 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is the first time I have used them too. I think it's very bad that they haven't contacted us to forewarn us. What if we had taken the day off work to wait in, or cancelled an appointment.

I really hope yours isn't stuck in transit and that's a mistake their end - make sure they send you a new pen!

Hello, I've been on ozempic for 7 weeks now, 3rd week on 0.5mg. Ever since the increase, the injection has stung when injecting. Anyone else experience this? Should it sting? Scared to go increase to 1mg incase it stings even more.

My Wednesday order from UK meds is still marked dispensing too. I have just over two weeks before I need the next one fortunately but as you say am E mail update on the delays woukd have been helpful.

On a positive note, I did get my offer code through quickly from the person who confirmed they used my referral. Thank you. 🤞 I can use it for more than one pen next time assuming this one arrives safely.

Unofficial weight in day (when is it not?) and I can now say I have lost a stone on Ozempic 🎉🎉. Have to go back to May 2020 since I weighed this little.

So my Ukmeds order has now been sent back to the depot, after they did not even attempt delivery yesterday! Will definitely not be ordering from them again, by now the ozempic will have reached room temperature so will be unusable in 56 days time. Glad I paid for next day delivery (not), 8 days later and no sign of it arriving anytime soon!

Can anyone recommended a different website to purchase please?

I was going to try them but then I read all the reviews about delivery and didn.t, really poor.

I've mostly ordered from Medical Weight Loss 4 U - terrible name but very good. As they had got very expensive I tried QuickMeds, good price and arrived very well packed in a day or two.

Yeah Ukmeds were the cheapest I have found, but it seems like they are the cheapest for a reason.

Quite curious for when Wegovy starts being sold in the UK and what the pricing will be like. One pen = one dose for wegovy apparently, so a months supply would be four pens.

I weighed in a 13 14 today! I thought 13 14 was the same as 14 stone but I'm taking it!!!

same experience here. I find if I leave the pen out of the fridge for a couple of hours before injecting, it doesn’t sting as much.

@Cappuccinopup Yes I'm interested to see how much it'll be as well. I think it has different strength pens. Even now I can't imagine taking 2.4mg (I think that's the top dose). I wouldn't be able to eat anything!

@MaireadMcSweeney well done you! I still have over a stone to get down to that - it's my next milestone.

You don't need t keep it in the fridge after you've done your first injection, only when it's sealed

Thank you! Good luck to you on your milestone! Half a stone gone in 6 weeks. If I continue this rate I'll be 12.5 stone when I get married which will suit me perfectly. I'm aiming for 12 stone and maintaining there. Even if I could lose more (which maybe if we can get hold of higher doses in future I could) I highly doubt I could maintain and I'm also worried about loose skin and ageing face at my age (40s). I was looking at my belly today and I'm destined for a skin flap there sadly as that's where the majority of my fat congregates. On the other hand my arms and legs are fairly taught as they don't carry as much fat.

Mayfair Weight loss clinic. Ordered on a Saturday but they were transparent about the fact they wouldn’t dispatch until the Monday. Received on the Tuesday in a well packaged & cool box. Will buy from them again though not the cheapest as no codes available.

Yes I just keep mine safe in the top of the fridge after opening anyway, to keep them away from little grabby hands 😂

That sounds good - I’m happy to pay a bit more to have decent service, not waiting around for weeks and having to go back and forth with emails!

@Cappuccinopup I give a thumbs up to QuickMeds. Ordered on the Monday and received on Wednesday and well packaged.

I normally buy from MedicalWeightLoss4You too but ordered a pen from UK Meds this week to take to my friend in Australia as it was quite a lot cheaper and I leave on Tuesday so not sure what to do. Hoping it comes.

Does anyone else not get why the pens must be stored in the fridge before first use but can then be kept at room temperature? It makes zero logical sense to me! Surely if it needs to be kept cold it should be in the fridge all the time?

Also, I made the mistake of drinking 3 Proseccos yesterday late afternoon as went to a friends leaving do. Couldn’t eat a thing when I got home (zero appetite) and I hadn’t eaten much all day either (zero appetite). Was sick in the night, my own fault for drinking the same as I normally would but after not eating much all day.
I’m going to persevere with Oxempic a bit longer as it’s certainly effective at reducing my appetite, but almost too much? Will order another 0.25mg pen rather than move up to 0.5. on the advice of some lovely members of this group. I don’t want to sound like a misery but am only giving my experience in case it helps anyone else. I will make sure I eat nourishing food today and drink plenty of water.

I read on a website yesterday ( sorry I can’t remember which one as I was browsing several about Wegovy) that they don’t expect to have it in stock even by the summer. It’s disappointing.
Though speaking personally I can’t even imagine being able to tolerate such a high dose as 2.4mg! Hopefully they will be able to offer lower doses too when it does become available in the U.K.

I read the same too. It will be the same doses as Ozempic (0.25, 0.5 amd 1mg) but additional higher doses of 1.7 and 2.4mg. I am guessing for weight loss some may benefit from the higher doses but if most of us have success on 1mg or even 0.5mg then no reason to increase to the higher doses.
