i last weighed on Sunday and I was 8st 11.75lb but I doubt that will last as DH and I are in Ibiza on a four-night break, and it’s soooo nice. Nothing to do really but eat, drink, snooze, lay in the sun, swim etc. I have done my w5r1 of c25k today (I fell behind as I didn’t do anything when we were away for half term) in the gym here and it was an absolute killer. There is air-con but it’s not as great as in the gym I go to at home and I’m clearly less fit than I was a couple of weeks ago. There were 3 x 5 min runs with 3 mins walking in between. I got half way through the third run and felt like I was having a heart attack and then got a stitch and then I switched to walking and grunted/ like a wild animal for the rest of the walk😳

Weighed today and down to 9stone 3.2 from 9stone 4.6 a couple of weeks so renewed efforts and a bit more exercise are making a difference. Today's plan:
B avocado on toast
L cous cous salad with feta and beetroot, tangerine
D veggie chilli with small amount of rice
Short walk maybe as am knackered from yesterday's swim! No snacking!
Initial Target: 9 stone

I’m off on holiday in the morning! Still terrified but also really looking forward to it!

Not quite where I’d have liked to have been shape wise before going but I’ve tried on outfit combinations multiple times and have hopefully packed the most flattering clothes. Just got to brave the bikini 😬

I’ve ironed all of my proper summer clothes tonight and feel fed up. They are much tighter than when I wore them in Singapore a couple of months ago. When I got down to 1982 pre pregnant weight of 8st 12 I took some seams in on my size 12 linen dresses. Tonight I let them
all out again!
restarting with a vengeance tomorrow !
4 weeks til I go to Portugal ( possibly, depending on EasyJet....)

Just here to announce the unexpected success of getting below 50kg (only just, I weighed 49.9 yesterday... 😅). Feel delighted. Still 2-3kg to go to get to where I feel/look my best but getting below 50 feels like a milestone. I won't weight myself again for a week to hopefully not see any fluctuations back up, and get it a bit further from 50 by next week. Good luck everyone!

Wow 50 kg, that’s so slinky! I’ll be happy to sneak under the 9 st again but it’s so hard maintaining that weight.

Well done @Cathy31 - my week has gone well. The tricky bit will be maintaining discipline over the weekend... I'd love to get back under 9 stone - it is so unfair how much difference a 5/6lb gain makes to your frame when you are short!

I've started 30 Day Shred from the start again, but I've added extra weights in this time to make the earlier levels harder. Definitely noticed I was more able this time round.

Also ordered a selection of low calorie beers and a low calorie prosecco from ocado!

I will be back, I promise. It has been birthday week (or 2) and there's been a ridiculous amount of eating out and I'm currently addicted to frozen cocktail slushies. I have a few more dinners planned but then I desperately need vegetables and no more alcohol.

I hope you are all keeping well. I've missed you, and am looking forward to catching up on your posts.

Five days away and I’ve gained 3lb. Up to 9st 0.75lb and I have five days before we go away yet again. It’s getting harder to stay on top of.

I made the mistake of looking ahead to my next couch to 5k run and it is a non-stop 20 minutes 😱which is enormously daunting for me as I really struggled with the last one which was 2 x 8 minute runs with a 5 minute walk in between.

And I’ve started the day off with a massive toasted teacake with loads of butter.

Quick check in to say I'm down to 9st 2.5lb this morning. Was lingering between 9st 4.5-5.5 for weeks so pleased to finally see a bit of progress. And down half a lb since my sickness bug ended.

I am exhausted after a lot of socialising recently, I have celebrated my birthday over the past 2 weeks but I think things should settle now. I feel spoilt and much loved by my friends, and I am truly grateful for them

Today:
B - nothing
L - tofu noodle soup made with miso soup, brown rice noodles, tofu and veggies (mushrooms/asparagus) all dished up in my fab ramen bowl which was a birthday gift
D - tbc

I would like to not have any bread or pasta this week, as I'm feeling bloated after my recent excess.

What is on the meal plan for everyone else?

I had an ice lolly this afternoon, dinner was veggie kiev, mashed potato and baked beans.

I don't think I'll be able to calorie count just yet as I'm certain restricting will cause a binge.

I'm not drinking enough water so will need to keep an eye on this

@WellTidy you did well compared to my gains. I can’t really believe I gained all 6lbs I lost in one week but here we are. My metabolism ain’t what it used to be.

Sometimes with C25k I would do the run one more time if I was feeling like I struggled with that week, you could do that if you want another run before the 20 minute one?

I weighed myself at the weekend and I was back up to 10st 5lb. It’s really frustrating, it’s like that’s the weight my body wants to be and keep me snapping back to given the chance. I’m back into the diet mostly but struggling with a few too many snacks and missed a few days exercise last week with the heat and a migraine but I’m going to try to keep it up this week. It was much easier with the holiday motivation :/

Hello all - hope you are enjoying the sunny weather. I kept my resolve over the weekend and am now 9 stone 2.8 from last week's 9 stone 3.2 so I'm pleased. I cut down wine consumption this weekend which tends to scupper my good work during the week. No crisps either. Those are my two weaknesses! Haven't got back to C25K but will do a long walk or a swim today.

@againmaeve frozen cocktail slushies (and wine) have been my downfall the last few weeks. I then want to eat everything! Well done on no crisps over the weekend

I admit I went out for a coffee this morning as feeling stressed with work and needed a change of scenery and some fresh air. I had a free birthday treat on the app so I had a slice of cake with my coffee. This was about 11.30 so all I've eaten today and will likely keep me going until dinner

Husband is off today and doing us a bbq. Just doing chicken, fish, vegetables but should be really nice. Might open the low calories Prosecco 🤨. Summer is a little dangerous for the old diet.

I am a nervous wreck, my stomach is churning. I have an interview on Thursday morning. Some of the longer term posters on this thread will remember how badly I messed up an interview last year, and it's not helping my nerves at all. The role I am currently in started as a temp role for a few months (now on contract until October) so my 'interview' for here was an informal chat

Hello everyone,
I had the most relaxing mini break away possible. It was an absolute dream. I didn’t need to worry so much about either the big group or the bikini wearing, both were fine. I ate loads of lovely food and drank quite a lot too so haven’t dared weigh yet!

Good luck with interview @purplegirl13! I am working today but I'll try to go for a walk afterwards. Glad you had a lovely break @Pommelegible - I think it is worth eating/drinking mindfully day to day so we can splurge a bit for special occasions or on holiday.

My daughter has her last gcse today. This is excellent news for me because it means I will no longer have to drive the school run and will instantly do more walking.

Struggling to get out of the holiday eating mindset, I weighed last night and had put that kilo it took me months to lose back on in a weekend 🤦🏻‍♀️
