WOW 😯 Where did February go … A Warm Welcome to New and existing Members alike! Fresh new month, fresh new start, fresh new habits. Jump right in to reset & refresh to become a healthier version of yourself.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (Weigh On Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and generally eat twice a day.

Weigh in this morning was 14 stones and 0.5lbs!!
So 1.5lbs down for the month, utterly ridiculous!! I honestly don't know why I can't get back into the swing of it! But at least I've maintained most of what i lost last year so that's something!

I need a good hard shake!!

Covid got me 😭 got the real under-the-weather munchies but going to try not to give in to them today. I'm sooooooo close to my March goals, it'd be such a shame to fall on the last day, even if I do feel rotten. Birthday officially cancelled, too.

I’m struggling too @Youdoyoutoday and have been since Christmas. I’ve had almost negligible losses every month because I just can’t seem to stay on track. But I was quite pleased when I realised this morning that those tiny losses add up to half a stone off since the start of January. I guess it’s not too terrible when I think of it like that...

By the way, where’s our April thread? I hope you’re not too swamped by all the decorating to set one up @TheRealHousewife?

I've definitely lost my way since Xmas, I got down to 13.10 before Xmas and since then I've just gained 6lbs and bounced about on the same few pounds since.

I know what to do, I know how to do it, I know how to make healthy choices, I know to keep up with my exercising yada yada but I keep letting myself down with wine!!

New month resolution, cut way back on the booze!!

I feel like I'm misrepresenting our beloved ponies Grin They're not out for blood but they do like their space and don't appreciate small children being unpredictable around them. If you just leave them alone - they tend to be ok.

That said, they do roam through the campsites as well and one morning, I was rudely awakened by a pony trying to kick it's way into our tent! Worse, when we got up, we found out the same pony had wrecked another tent so badly, the campers had had to leave. This was the first weekend of the camping season so the campsite owners were calling the pony owner to relocate them before more people descended.. I expect they could smell the slight provisions we had and wanted some but still!

Also no progress here you & crazzy. Actually I have ended this month 3.5lbs up (it was only 2 lbs yesterday !!) so not good. As I said earlier this week I'm going to be determined in April. It will be so worth it to have lost a chunk ready for the summer !

Sorry you too have now got covid for your birthday @ImALittlePea That's so very very unlucky and not deserved.

@Crazzzycat, hoping i have the will power to maintain the fast 800 concept till my next trip to montreal may 5.
it will be impossible to do once at my moms for sure or at my brothers.
breakfast the chia seed pudding 260, i'll again tweak the numbers with the next batch and get that to 250 including the compote or berries.
the diet is more veggie base than fruit. and calorie wise it is in the 800-900 range not 700-800.

@SanFranBear it sounds like your wild ponies are just trying to live up to their name. Treating humans with a little bit of trepidation is a healthy thing for all wild animals!

No success at all on the weight loss, but maintained(ish), not regained back my loss(ish) and have done at least 6 pilates classes, 7 mega gym sessions, run 20km+, not drunk every night - probably alcohol 33% of what I used to do, chocolate on 3 days, crisps on 3 days, pizza once, biscuits none, cake twice (left over from my birthday), and still in a size 12.

Thank you all. Looking forward to a brighter, sunnier, and warmer April - with more fun and less fat ; )

oh my i'm nibblish this is my hard time, just before supper....
so far good choices the 260 breakfast and 130 for lunch, i need to stick to a 410 supper. the problem is, dh is making burgers....
plan is 1/2 bun and 1/2 lettuce as well as keeping the ground beef to 3 oz.
