I lost 10lb at the back end of last year… weighed myself this morning and I’ve put on just over 8lb over Christmas! I don’t even feel like I overate that much. I blame the baileys.

Anyway, today is a new start, going to get that weight back off and lose another stone on top.

MFP is my friend again and today shall be somewhat of a fasting day as I’ve got so much to do and feel horribly bloated.
Day 4 of no alcohol, going to keep that going for as long as possible as it’s empty calories and my evening wine was becoming far too much.

SW - 10st 8.8lb
GW - 9st

Goal weight for now is back to 10st.

Wednesday I’m usually so good at resisting snacks, once I’m in the zone, I find it easier to just completely stick to the plan, and I actually lose my appetite. But when I really get a craving, I can’t get it out of my head, and only a chocolate bar will do. I don’t think a hot chocolate would cut it 😆

While I’m away I’m planning on making good choices, and not going all out, eating everything in sight like I used to! Last time I was at an all-inclusive I hit the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus ice creams and cocktails. But I definitely felt bloated by the 2nd week. No wonder though, as I’d have croissants and other pastries for breakfast, plus all the juices, a cooked lunch and then basically a 3 course dinner.

I do plan on going easy, and trying to eat like I do at home, I really don’t want to put any weight back on!

Ah yes, all inclusive. Hoping to get away this summer but not sure if all inclusive would be wise for me. I tend to load my plates.Blush

Done some weights and stretching tonight. It's all l had the energy for.

There are lots of al a carte restaurants too (huge resort) so I think I’ll book those for half the dinners actually. Having a meal from the menu should help, then no temptation to refill my plate!

Weighed in at 9st 1.5 today so I’ve managed to lose what I assume was water weight from an indulgent weekend.
So close to being able to say I’ve lost 1.5 stone, but I don’t think it’s quite possible by Monday, when we fly.

Busy few days at the gym, yesterday I did 45 mins legs, bums and tums class, 3000m rowing, 15 mins treadmill uphill walking. Managed to resist chocolate yesterday, whatever was making me crave it over the weekend has passed now, I hope.
Today I did a 45 min bodytone class (weights), 3000m rowing, 10 mins cross-trainer and 15 mins uphill walking.

Hi all sorry I've not posted I've had such a bad cold I've just been abit all over the place!

I've had a steady week. A few small blips but also a lot of healthyness. I weighed this morning and i was 10.4 which I'm happy with. I'd be quite happy to maintain over the holidays and Easter as I have ALOT on, feeling good ive not gone off the wagon as normally I would have done!

You both sounds like you're doing amazingly! What means more then a loss on the scales is a happy and healthy out look which you both seem to have atm 🥰

Morning all, glad you’re doing well, even during an ‘off’ week Wednesday. We’re off to Mexico on Monday, so I’ll sign off now, but I hope you and Talk keep up the good work. I’ll reassess where I am when I get back in a few weeks - I might even start my own maintenance thread.

Thanks for the support along the way, I’m super happy to say since I started in early January I’ve lost 19lbs (8.5kg) so I feel like I couldn’t really have done any more than I have. Hopefully I’ll feel more confident in my clothes and swimwear and then won’t come back having gained half a stone. BUT, if I do, I know I can do something about it now. I plan to get straight back to the gym, straight back into my daily eating.

Lost 2 pounds at slimming world last week so that's 11 pounds off 🥰 I'm happy to just maintain this week as I've got a lot on and it's the holidays! Really feel like I've turned a corner with some of my bad habits though... just need to drink more water 🙈

Wow well jell!

My scales needle keeps going up and down as usual but I've started to give it a bit more welly this week, so hoping by next week I can get under the 15 stone mark.

Oh my good god I think I'm about to morph into an Easter egg 😅
Ending my bank holiday with a dominos and then back to it tomorrow! My sons birthday is in a month and i want to feel good looking back as last year I felt gross!
