Thought I would start the new thread a day early, cannot believe this thread has been going for two years. I joined on 2nd Jan 2020. I'm going to put today's weight in 9st1.25, so a gain of three pounds in December. Aiming to get back to where I was by the end of January and in the longer term a few more pounds.

@NutellaEllaElla Grin I only weighed to give myself a much needed kick up the bum! Otherwise I go into ignorance is bliss mode!

NutellaEllaElla · 03/01/2022 16:23

I was definitely living in ignorance for December. Now I have the fear and regret motivating me Grin

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 03/01/2022 18:55

Right I'm logging now and I'm happy with today and shall not eat another morsel!

Berries and yoghurt and cappuccino
Omlette witg mushrooms, cheese and chorizo
Chicken casserole with butternut squash
2 rice cakes with pb
Bed by 10.30!!

NutellaEllaElla · 03/01/2022 20:11

Brush your teeth!

Another great day here too. Walked 10 miles, ate well. Teeth are brushed.

Begonias · 03/01/2022 20:42

I walked a measley 3k today majority of it was uphill and boy was it a struggle!! I've done my kettle squats and some walking around the shops in Harrogate. My pitfall was Yo Sushi as I may have consumed my whole days calories at once😂

DirtonthePlough · 03/01/2022 21:07

I've had a funny old day foodwise. I'm
still eating through the chocolates but haven't had many today at all. I ate breakfast at lunchtime of yogurt and muesli, cheese and veggie ham panini for lunch with far too many kettle chips, ritz and primula for dinner, 3 cups of tea and several glasses of water. AF started and my backache has returned with a vengeance. I've tidied ds's pigsty and the landing and built lots of Lego. 45 and suddenly into Lego Grin I find it therapeutic as long as I have a booklet to follow. Ds and I play happily alongside each other for hours like this. Not very energetic of course but it's quite mindful I think and therefore good for me. Back to the school hike on Thursday and I have a job now so no sitting around all day or pottering about the house doing not a lot watching murder mysteries of various calibre. Being out I'm skipping lunch so I might have a better breakfast or a second breakfast before work then an earlier dinner to even things out. Good habits and lots of water is my motto this month.

DirtonthePlough · 03/01/2022 23:30

@Wowwellokthen I can't find you on the Fitbit friends list or see any notification of you accepting my friend request. I'm not very familiar with that side of it though so might have missed it.

I didn't eat my weight in frozen Maltesers just now whilst mumsnetting. Oh no, t wasn't me.

lagrangethetortoise · 04/01/2022 07:15

68.3 yesterday
68.0 today

Food wise better but like others I'm still having a choc out of the box in the fridge, a few Christmas Pringles and a square of Turkish Smile

Back to work today with less snack opportunities but will be stuck a desk all day

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 04/01/2022 09:02

9st3 today.. Disappointing amd a little confusing to be up instead of down but period is on the way, so maybe it's that. Three good meals, no snacking, water, tewth and skincare!!

Hangoverstruggles · 04/01/2022 09:03

Thanks for the welcome back @NutellaEllaElla and @HeyGirlHeyBoy! Sounds like you're both doing really great.

@NutellaEllaElla if I get back to the weight I want I need your help with maintenance. It must be well over a year since you hit your goal weight? Awesome!

Yesterday was a good start. Went on a big blitz of the house so easily skipped breakfast (I don't feel as hungry if busy!!)

L - big bowl of porridge 350
D - prawn linguine 700 cals. Not ideal but using up the bousin!
S - coffees, biscuit, 1 chocolate!!

Total 1250

Aiming between 1200-1350 a day

Hope everyone has a great day

NutellaEllaElla · 04/01/2022 09:29

It has been almost 18 months, I still long for stability though. It's been a rollercoaster the whole way.

Octopus37 · 04/01/2022 09:31

Lovely to see you back @Hangoverstruggles. Here's to us al getting back to some sort of normality this year. 9st this morning, kind of gradually getting back to normal eating, have got so lazy over Christmas though with getting up later.

I’m back to work today and the children back to preschool/childminder so hopefully should get into some sort of routine now. DH and I are going to try to do an exercise video this evening together and I’m aiming for no snacking and no eating after dinner. Hope everyone has a good day x

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 04/01/2022 11:01

10/8 here today and only 7,500 steps yesterday as I was at home all day. I’m off until Thursday so going to meet a friend for lunch today - at least I will get my steps.

swallowedAfly · 04/01/2022 13:02

Welcome back Hangover (I'm HB with a name change)! Good to see you.

I'm 12.0.6 today so only a pound up on before Christmas now I think. Hopefully back under 12 very soon and then on into new territory.

I have found I'm thinking more about food since eating more of it over Christmas but feeling pretty motivated to keep losing. Massive lie in today and back to work tomorrow.

NutellaEllaElla · 04/01/2022 13:30

Similar here. I think we soon as I have something sweet, I just crave more constantly. I'm going to try to delay sweet snacks until 4pm when I can have something small then dinner isn't too long to wait.

Wowwellokthen · 04/01/2022 16:21

Dirtontheplough I've invited you to a Fitbit challenge on the app...hopefully it will show up for you.

Anyone else fancy joining us?

NutellaEllaElla · 04/01/2022 16:42

I don't use a Fitbit but do use Strava.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 04/01/2022 19:58

I’m on Fitbit but with my real name - if anyone wants to add me PM me!

LBB2020 · 04/01/2022 21:08

I need to charge my Fitbit up!
Good day today Smile 3 low-ish carb meals, no snacks and we’ve just done a workout video! Probably not quite enough water and probably not quite hit my steps as WFH but Rome wasn’t built in a day Grin

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 04/01/2022 21:42

Well done LBB! I'm logging now.
Berries, kiwi and Greek yoghurt and cappuccino
Chicken curry and rice
Had dinner at almost 4 and was out at hobby till now. Not hungry so having my Camomile and going to bed. Steps 15000 as was out and about also today. Every good meal and good day counts!

NutellaEllaElla · 04/01/2022 21:43

Checking in for the day and it's been a good one. Water, calorie and walking targets met. 👍

LBB2020 · 04/01/2022 22:26

Well done @HeyGirlHeyBoy and @NutellaEllaElla Smile

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 05/01/2022 09:09

Thanks LBB!
9st2 this morning. Water and lots of it, three good meals and no snacking after last meal. Teeth, skin and 10.30 bed! Have a good day all.

LBB2020 · 05/01/2022 09:45

I went to bed feeling very motivated last night, let’s hope I keep hold of that motivation!
