Hi, here's the new thread.

So after a good loss last week, I am up, 9st 3.5. That said, I am down 1.75 since the beginning of June. Hope we get some decent weather again this month.

Lovely, enjoy.

Another decent day food and drink wise. I might have to buy some meringue nests, strawberries are super sweet right now and my sweet tooth is almost out of control. Those mini Reese's are taking a hammering!

LBB2020 · 21/07/2021 22:11

Hope you enjoyed your walk!
That’s a good idea @NutellaEllaElla I’m taking the children to the local fruit farm this week so we will be picking strawberries!

NutellaEllaElla · 22/07/2021 07:38

I'm down another lb. That's 2 over the course of the week and 2 off my maintenance goal.

We did the photoshoot at the weekend and have seen some pictures. I must be happy with my weight because i've been obsessing about my nose and hair 🙄🙄🙄

The other day I made some orange jelly with mandarin segments in some Gu ramekin pots. My mum used to make them when I was a kid, I remember making them too. Pouring the orange juice from the tin into the cold water. 60 calories a pop, great refreshing fridge cold snack for this weather. I recommend them.

NutellaEllaElla · 22/07/2021 07:39

Gosh it's been years since I picked strawberries, I bet they will be delicious.

Octopus37 · 22/07/2021 07:51

Yes the strawberries sound yum.

Up half a pound this morning 8st13.25.

We picked some yesterday. There's big planters around the village full of herbs and strawberries for the community and you can just help yourself. I love raspberries and you can eat loads for very little calorie count. I have a big portion of yogurt and raspberries for lunch sometimes.

LadyDanburysHat · 22/07/2021 08:35

I was just talking to DH the other day about going strawberry picking. I'm eating a lot of them at the moment anyway.

MY PMS has hit hard in the past couple of days. I have horrendous stomach cramps. Yesterday I popped to Tesco and ate a bag of crisps and half a huge bag of minstrels on the way home. Not great, but today is a new day. I have my second vaccine today, so exercise is probably out of the window for a couple of days. I'm also socialising at the weekend, food and drink, so no great expectations if this week.

NutellaEllaElla · 22/07/2021 13:46

Feeling munchy today and more water isn't helping.

Octopus37 · 23/07/2021 07:09

8st13.25 this morning. My Son's last day at primary today. He is ready to leave and I am ready to leave, but think it will still be an emotional day.

TheHoneyBadger · 23/07/2021 10:41

Morning. I'm up a little bit but that's ok - I've had some very lazy days plus a family occasion this week.

Went to the gym yesterday for the first time in a while and going back tomorrow. Will say what the scales say on Sunday by which time period should be properly over.

Hope last day goes well Octopus and well done on being nearly back to goal already Nutella.

LBB2020 · 23/07/2021 21:57

Hope the last fast went well @Octopus37
I’ve kept to my eating window of 11-7 up until this evening as DH ordered a take away!

LBB2020 · 23/07/2021 21:57

Last day that should say!

Octopus37 · 24/07/2021 07:46

Thanks @LBB2020 and @TheHoneyBadger his last day went well thanks. He is a bit sad to have left primary, but think its fear of the unknown. Luckily it wasn't quite emotional as I expected. We went to The Harvesters afterwards which was nice. Have got my appetite back so ate more yeserday and therefore 9st this morning.

LBB2020 · 24/07/2021 09:03

I’m glad his last day went well @Octopus37 and you enjoyed a nice meal!
My eldest has a month left at his nursery before he moves onto preschool which I’m feeling quite emotional and apprehensive about, he has Down syndrome and his current nursery have been fantastic but his new preschool seem wonderfully inclusive and I think once he’s settled in it will be fantastic for him (it’s a mainstream school/preschool). Parenting is full of worries and emotions!
I’m going to try to get some exercise in today, make the most of DH being home!
Hope everyone has a good weekend Smile

TheHoneyBadger · 24/07/2021 10:14

Understandable LBB. Hopefully the preschool is as good with and for him as the nursery.

I'm back to my low of 13:1.6 this morning and am off to the gym shortly however I've been invited to friends for dinner tonight so....

LBB2020 · 24/07/2021 10:36

Well done @TheHoneyBadger and enjoy the gym and your dinner this evening (it’s all about balance Wink)

TheHoneyBadger · 24/07/2021 16:56

Thank you. Think I'll burn at least 2700cals today - hopefully I can't do that much damage this evening.

Octopus37 · 25/07/2021 07:52

@LBB2020 hope your Son's new preschool are as good with your Son as the nursery. Your apprehension is understandable. @TheHoneyBadger you are doing so well. Felt quite PMT like yesterday, waiting for my progesterone bleed to start properly, also very busy so I just ate loads of carbs. 8st13.75 this morning. Just ate a yoghurt and an apricot for breakfast. My Dad might be coming out of hospital this week

LBB2020 · 25/07/2021 10:15

Thank you @Octopus37 Smile
Great news about your dad, hope he gets home soon!

Octopus37 · 25/07/2021 12:18

Thanks @LBB2020

8st13.25 this morning, surpirsed cause I ate quite a lot yesterday and thought I would be loads up. Hope we get the good weather back again soon.

OP posts:
drspouse · 26/07/2021 12:38

I think I lost the June thread, let alone the July one.
Still, no gain this last fortnight despite going camping and having to eat a lot of cooked breakfasts.

Octopus37 · 27/07/2021 06:33

Lovely to see you back @drspouse, hope you enjoyed your camping holiday. 8st13 this morning, hoping I can maintain it. Would love to lose a bit more but its taken me forever to get this far.

OP posts:
TheHoneyBadger · 27/07/2021 10:25

Weight on an upswing that I'm trying not to take personally Hmm

That under 9st zone is sticking Octopus - well done.

LBB2020 · 27/07/2021 18:59

Well done @Octopus37
I didn’t stick to no eating after 7pm over the weekend but back on it again now! Went for a nice walk with the baby yesterday and hoping to do a YouTube exercise video once the children are in bed tonight! I still don’t have any scales but am feeling better not waking up bloated and feeling yucky from eating rubbish all evening!
