Hi, here's the new thread.

So after a good loss last week, I am up, 9st 3.5. That said, I am down 1.75 since the beginning of June. Hope we get some decent weather again this month.

I've had a weekend off but am back on it now from today. Af due soon and I Exocet my weight to go up then. I should be asleep but got sucked into Broadchurch.

Octopus37 · 19/07/2021 06:47

@LBB2020 good advice from @TheHoneyBadger, running around after a toddler and having a young baby is exhausting. I had a similar age gap to you and I couldn't have got through the day without loads of chocolate etc.

9st dead on again this morning, scales did say 8st13.75 at first but changed their minds. Going to be another scorcher today.

LBB2020 · 19/07/2021 09:39

Yes thank you all for the advice! Chocolate and coffee is definitely my downfall but it’s what gets me through the days at the moment (baby is up once or twice a night to feed 💤). I’m going to make an effort to stick to 11-7 eating and try to get a couple of exercise sessions in a week when DH is home and can take over with the children x

LadyDanburysHat · 19/07/2021 16:30

all I dropped off the radar for a week or so as I've been on annual leave and out and about. Also been enjoying too much unhealthy food, but I seem to have managed to keep my weight stable. So no loss for a couple of weeks, but no gain either, which I'll take as a win.

@NutellaEllaElla great snack tips, I'm always looking for something that feels like a treat but is low cal.

@LBB2020 well done for even trying to lose weight with two young kids like that. It's really hard. I also found breastfeeding made me incredibly hungry and I did not lose any weight until I stopped. Jealous of those that did.

NutellaEllaElla · 19/07/2021 16:37

Hi, so the social eating events just keep coming. I'm going to try and manage it better though as I can't keep saying "fuck it, it's a one off". I'm meeting a friend for dinner this evening, I've looked up the menu online and have chosen the lowest cal meal that is also appealing, not going for 3 courses. I'm saying this here to try to keep accountable!

LBB2020 · 19/07/2021 17:29

@LadyDanburysHat I’m the same with breastfeeding, hungry all the time!
Enjoy your evening out @NutellaEllaElla Smile

Octopus37 · 20/07/2021 07:11

@NutellaEllaElla hope you enjoyed your meal out.

8st13.25 this morning, probably lowest I've been since 2018,

Well done @Octopus37, your perseverance is paying off.

I was proud of myself last night because I managed to stick to what I had planned to have.

NutellaEllaElla · 20/07/2021 07:42

I'm down 1lb this morning.

Octopus37 · 20/07/2021 07:45

Well done @NutellaEllaElla

Yay Octopus and Nutella. New low for me at 13:1.6. Dare I say it hrt might be making it easier? Better touch wood and not speak too soon as some say it causes weight gain.

Nutella similar strategy here - my bil and sister are back in UK and we're going out for his 50th this week and I had to pick meals from the menu. I've gone for a meaty sharer starter because I know I'll be lucky if I get two bites before ds demolishes the lot and I've picked a nice salad for my main. It honestly is better than leaving feeling sick and bloated ime but it doesn't come naturally to me.

It SO doesn't come naturally to me!

I'm rocking the water target today.

LadyDanburysHat · 20/07/2021 11:48

I'm up 0.5lb this morning. I do feel premenstrual again though, which is happening way too often with my mirena coil.

One thing about last week when I was eating rather unhealthily again I started to feel sluggish and lethargic again. We had a lot of days out so lots of treating myself to cakes and things and it's not good every day.

NutellaEllaElla · 20/07/2021 12:08

My skin gets much worse when I eat unhealthily too.

Hillary17 · 20/07/2021 13:22

Have so much to lose but finally feeling determined to do something about the mess I’ve let my body get into over the last few years. I’m only 5”3 and weigh 17.1 with a BMI of around 42. Honestly I couldn’t believe it when I realised this and was so disappointed in myself. In my mind I’m still 25 and 5 stone later Sad I managed to lose 3 stone a few years ago using WW but didn’t keep it off sadly but have rejoined recently to start making myself accountable again.

It’s my wedding in November and I would love to hit 15 stone for the big day. Not my goal weight (13 stone) but a night half way point! I literally don’t even fit in my dress at this point Shock

NutellaEllaElla · 20/07/2021 13:56

Welcome welcome @Hillary17. It's difficult not to be hard on yourself but life happens doesn't it and you're doing something now so give yourself some credit. You know you can do it too! So you can look forward to seeing success soon I reckon 😊

LBB2020 · 20/07/2021 18:34

Well done!
I managed to stick to 11-7 yesterday and am doing ok so far today!
Don’t be hard on yourself @Hillary17! Good luck with WW Smile

NutellaEllaElla · 20/07/2021 20:12

Hey hey, walked a lot today, drank lots of water and kept to a low calorie count.

Strawberries are delicious at the moment.

TheHoneyBadger · 20/07/2021 20:27

Well done Nutella-back on track and sounding positive.

My period started today, I’ve been boiling and knackered and have spent much of the day stuck to my bed by the fan. I’m also drinking ice cold coors.

Never mind. Social eating day tomorrow so not likely to make up for it then but back to the gym on Thursday evening

FlatteredFool · 21/07/2021 07:02

Morning all. AF arrived early and with a vengeance and I've felt awful so not really sticking to anything diet wise. I've been active though so that's something. Off out into the Peak District today for a big walk. I hope we don't melt!

Welcome to the newcomers.

NutellaEllaElla · 21/07/2021 07:18

Ooh where in the Peak District? My favourite place in the UK is the Dovedale to Milldale walk with the stepping stones.

LBB2020 · 21/07/2021 07:28

Enjoy the Peak District @FlatteredFool
I managed another day of eating between 11-7 Grin it’s nice not going to bed and waking up feeling bloated and gross! I’ve been drinking more water but could definitely do with upping it a bit more, especially in this crazy weather!

Octopus37 · 21/07/2021 08:02

Wow @TheHoneyBadger well done on your loss, think HRT does probably make it a bit easier.

Welcome @Hillary17 big congratulations on your wedding in September. @FlatteredFool enjoy the peak district.

8st12.75 this morning. Off up North for the day to see my Dad soon

OP posts:
TheHoneyBadger · 21/07/2021 08:06

Love Dovedale too - fond childhood memories of those stepping stones.

Thanks Octopus and safe travels and well done for still being under 9! You've been aiming for that for some time.

My weight is radically up today so I just did the jump straight off the scales and go yeah I'm not looking at that move. Will see where I'm at in a few days after todays social eating and my period are out of the way.

FlatteredFool · 21/07/2021 09:05

We are going to Bamford to walk from the old mill to Ladybower. I love Dovedale too but public transport to there is nonexistent as far as I know.
