I'm exhausted! I'd forgotten how draining the first day of a new job can be. I've had a handover and now its all down to me from tomorrow!

I've had an early dinner and I'm desperately craving cake. Will resist, l need to stay in the zone with you lovely ladies.

I’m craving pancakes! No reason at all
Would it be really terrible if I make them instead of a dinner and pudding? I don’t have children here today to be a good eating role model!

I've succumbed to a glass of Baileys. If I go pour myself another then the bottle will be finished. It needs to be done so there's no temptation left

I am so tired, I really underestimated how exhausted I would feel starting a new job.

After sneaking out of the zone yesterday, I'm jumping back in (yet again)

I'm currently sipping on some lemon in warm water
B - greek yogurt and raspberries
L - salad with hummus (and possibly veggie 'kebab' pieces)
D - leftover tofu stirfy with egg fried cauliflower 'rice'

Will aim for a walk at lunch time/after work

Well it seems like I have manged to maintain as a wanted to i will need to start trying to lose soon. I am saying when the children go back. I also have a health condition which leaves me exhausted between treatments and I am a low piont in the cycle so am finding it hard to exercise and nit reach for the sugar. So hopefully when the children go back everything will realine.

Hi everyone! Good luck to everyone getting back on it after the summer…I’m doing the same. I’ve dropped the kids off at school (I’m an hour ahead of the uk! 😄) and about to go for my first run in two months.

My weekly weigh-in today:

Starting weight 62.6kg
Current weight 57.6kg
Loss for August: a gain of 0.3kg
Goal weight 50kg

Food for today is cold meat and salad for lunch, and little savoury pastry things called tourtons with salad for tea…I just have to resist the bread, and this evening I have a video call with friends which will involve wine - I’ll try my best to minimise the number of glasses!

Hello all. My renewed focus September is going well. No booze and keeping to around 1200 calories is the plan. Won’t weigh today as has only been a couple of days but hope to see progress by next Friday if I can keep it up.
B porridge
L veg soup and oatcakes
D salmon en croute, new potatoes and peas
Also upping my water consumption - aiming for around 2 litres

Weighed this morning at 9st 6pds. A loss of 1.6 pds. this week after being very strict. I'm really disappointed. I wanted to be 9.5 pounds. I'm finding it much harder to lose weight this time.
This week my focus is on increasing my water intake and walking at least three times this week.

@purplegirl13 hello. Thank you for thinking of me. Been having a tough old time. DD is just so ill and I've felt very unwell too. DH had his biopsy tube and I had to go with him to drive him back so DS had to come to look after DD which was very stressful. Results from biopsy still 2 weeks away. I've been trying to eat sensibly but it's hard. DH goes away next Wednesday for 18 days to do a much longer for big walk and docs say he can so I'm happy he can go. While he is away I will really focus on healthy stuff and hopefully will get down a pound or two. Everyone has been doing so well, well done!

I’m struggling to get in the zone. Did well for a week but have been stuck at home quite a bit with poorly small people (nothing serious) and I tend to get all lethargic and reach for the chocolate then! Will hopefully be better once they go back to school next week, I work a lot better with routine.

@Teaand I'm there with you on the fatigue, it's so difficult to not reach for the easy options when it comes to food and comforting sugary options.

@Camrette give yourself a break and start afresh next week

I had to skip breakfast due to a last minute meeting, and I've just had lunch which was scrambled eggs, cherry tomatoes, and veggie 'bacon' slices. All calorie counted (324) giving me 926 for the rest of the day. I'm feeling very uninspired when it comes to dinner, I don't have much in but want to avoid bread/pasta.

I'm off to take a lunch time walk and buy some flowers

Low effort and quick!

Now to resist going out for something 'sweet' or putting a bottle of wine in the freezer to chill.

I didn't calorie count my dinner but I had 900 kcals to spare so it'll have been fine.

@purplegirl13 I did run! Followed by yoga and weights, so I felt really good about my first day back on the wagon 😊 Unfortunately this evening has involved all of the wine and all of the crisps…so an overall failure…

Tomorrow is a barbecue with friends, but hopefully after that I’ll manage to have a good week in food terms (I have to stop buying crisps!)

Thanks everyone. I find fatigue and stress makes me eat plus on way home from hospital (2 and a half hour drive each way) we stopped at a service station and DH chose chocolate for his treat. I've only had one square though he has had 2 bars! I

@purplegirl13 thanks for recipe link. I ordered pork mince this week hoping to find a similar recipe I used to have an DJ will be making that. While DH is away I may get ready meals that are 'count on us' type so I always have food in and don't reach for crap

@Sooverthemill honestly, I'm surprised you're not inhaling sugar with what you've got on. Absolutely get the calorie counted ready meals to make life a little easier. Also a gentle reminder for you to try and rest when your DD is.

I bought a cheese toastie for lunch, guesstimating at 700kcals. I can't have anything else until dinner, which will be the same as yesterday (leftovers). Am going to make myself a green tea and pretend it's a large glass of wine

I weighed myself today:
9st 11.8, down 0.2 from last week
still a 2lb gain overall so need to get this in check
