Life anything we can help with?

I kept myself on opposite side of room to chocolate biscuits after taking one today, looking forward to my dinner now

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/05/2021 18:22

No but thanks
Well done dodging the biscuits

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/05/2021 05:50

Up early today as DD off for a show. Hungry though.
Got a cuppa before weight. Will track today and weight tomorrow.
Going to the park so lots of standing watching kids

Not2bObvious · 03/05/2021 11:45

No weigh here either, having family over for lunch so takeaway situation happening. May isn't getting off to a good diet start for me that's for sure! Weather is revolting here, lashing rain and gale force winds. No walks today, only house work steps. Got 4,500 by switching Fitbit to right hand. Cheater

Been to a 100th birthday party, well lunch today , the food was from the Celtic Manor , they had afternoon tea shipped in for us all. I ate it of course l did ! Not every day l get to eat like that 😊
It was amazing!
Hope everyone is ok ☺️ l think given the weather and the bank holiday it's a wonder we can stop scoffing the contents of the cupboard 🙄😱😁

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/05/2021 15:53

And who wouldn't Mrs.

10000 steps bollocks food. Healthy ish but to much on plate ignores ice lollies and chocco biccies

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/05/2021 06:40

No weight this morning but I'm back to tracking and on1500. Rain all day so steps will be a challenge tho I do need to go to the post office

Mrsmadevans · 04/05/2021 18:47

If l am being truthful l really need to get my act together l really do.
I am finding looking after my Mum very trying and l comfort eat simple as. I need to look after myself better l know .

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/05/2021 19:33

Easier said than done but yes you will most likely feel better eating well

Not2bObvious · 04/05/2021 20:05

I'm with you on needing to get my eating back on track mrs, I'm scared to weigh after this weekend.
Did ok today, got my 9,000 and in that's a 35 min jog/35 min body pump. Around 1600 cals in. Kitchen closed

Mrsmadevans · 04/05/2021 21:16

done really well today Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2021 06:49

Change one thing atvatvtime and it will click.

Braved aside today. Not too bad.

Ever so easily done ! Flowers
Mrsmadevans · 05/05/2021 15:47

Watching Unbelievable on Netflix , it's very good Smile
Also watching Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown , am loving her in it .
Anyone seen either of these?

Not2bObvious · 05/05/2021 16:12

Watched Unbelievable - really enjoyed it, Toni Collette is excellent and watched the 3rd Mare last night, I'm invested now. Kate Winslet is great in it, you'd never think she was British.
I had a fab donut this morning so I've been adjusting my day around it. Not obsessing too much at the moment, trying to follow normal hunger cues, we'll see how successful I am if I can keep it up over the weekend. Still haven't done a morning weigh

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2021 18:22

Totally lost it this afternoon

Not2bObvious · 05/05/2021 18:55

One group I was in (completely behaviour based, people on various plans) used to run a delayed gratification 30 day challenge. The idea being you held off on treat type/moreish/trigger foods gradually longer & longer. It appeared the earlier this type of food was had, the more likely it'd lead to an overeat. I had to work hard today to stop myself hitting the biccies after my donut but it was such a treat I had to be strict. It's done now life, maybe your cals are a bit low now you've introduced extra exercise? See how you feel over the next day or so and maybe reach out for advice from Peter

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 05/05/2021 20:55

That sounds familiar not. The earlier I hit "bad" Food the more I eat.
I bought crack choc but haven't opened it.
No extra exercise but boredom eating which spiraled.
Will really focus tomorrow as going Into the office

Not2bObvious · 05/05/2021 21:47

I had to banish myself to bed. Ahhh not the crack'choc, that's asking for trouble. If only it were the old days, you could bring it to work and others would eat.
My saving grace is I'm busy'ish in work, off to my own office as well for the morning. I'll only have access to what I take with me so that should help. Should be doing weights tomorrow, might have to do it at lunchtime🤔

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 06/05/2021 06:44

I did not eat the choc and went to bed, couldn't sleeps and for back up and hit the peanuts
Marginally up today
Office so have to carry ever thing
There will be a bacon roll from the cafe

Not2bObvious · 06/05/2021 07:56

Dragged myself up just before 6, got body pump done, 20 jog/15 walk. Nearly at 6,500. Quick weight check but not on the best surface so not particularly accurate but pretty much the same ball park as I've been, between 163-165 I reckon. I upped the workouts to 4 last week so I'm trying that again this week. It has little or no direct effect on my weight but it's helping my mind so no harm. Hasn't hurt me physically too much although my knee is v creaky

Mrsmadevans · 06/05/2021 11:41

Being busy is the key for me too Not you did well 👏
Life excellent work re the choc crack 👏👏👏
Am just queuing to vote 🙄
No food yet and have a curry in the slo cooker 😋😋😋

Not2bObvious · 06/05/2021 15:06

Busy up to now, quietening down and my tummy has started to rumble - dinner time is at least 2 hours away. Feeling quite fatigued now after early morning weights/steps although I'm v glad I got it done - my evening energy isn't up to much. Really looking forward to the weekend, ep over tomorrow so that'll be nice, bit of company for them & us.
Slow cooker curry sounds yum mrs, enjoy!
How you getting on life, did you get the bacon sarnie 😋
