Happier use the holiday SOD if it gives you a weigh in like that Grin Glad you got on with Nutracheck, good plan to compare Smile
Hope everyone is ok , l am being careful because Pain relief is making me feel nauseous so l am not scoffing too much but l am fine and Dandy Smile

Happierwithouthim · 16/08/2021 21:28

It's horrid when medication affects you like that. Better than being in pain though

Hello all!
not enjoy your holiday, very envious!!
mrs sorry to hear you’re in pain Flowers
life did you have your interview

happier I just started using MFP again today, maybe I should try nutracheck.
We had an ok time at home - the anniversary of my brother’s death was hard for us all and our holiday let turned out to be much less nice than it looked in the pics but we did get to see family which was the main thing.
We are totally broke now so doing a very strict budget and meal plans etc.
I have def gained weight while away - daily scones/buns, chips and booze! But back on a healthy eating plan now I’m home, no booze as IVF starting this week.

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/08/2021 20:47

Yes interview was last week and just waiting to hear.
Good luck with this round of ivf, sorry the holiday was more spendy and not as good as hoped, obviously brothers anniversary exception as that was always gonna be shot

Not2bObvious · 17/08/2021 22:23

Quick check in - mrs, if you're on strong nsaid, should you be on a stomach protector like omeprozale? Apologies for bad spelling, hopefully you know what I mean - have experience with this with EP and other relatives on meds that cause stomach pain/nausea. Worth checking?
Oh wow gen, sending you all the best luck wishes in the world, hope this is the winning treatment 🤞Huge sympathies on the anniversary, its so very toughThanks

Nutracheck just seems more user friendly and visual too

Happierwithouthim · 18/08/2021 08:55

198 last two mornings but pizza & wine & holidays

Not2bObvious · 18/08/2021 16:09

My FSOD is completely bonkers, changes weight if moved a smidge, I have it on a level tiled floor and it has new batteries. Day before yesterday it had me up a stone, then up half a stone. Various other nasty numbers but pretty much consistently up 6lb on home weight.

Mrsmadevans · 18/08/2021 18:34

Has some salmon & salad for lunch , it was really filling but lovely 🤗

Not2bObvious · 18/08/2021 23:27

I'm so glad mrs, I really hope it helpsThanks The fact you got the spelling right makes me feel better! I'd be worrying I was telling you to ask for mad drugs🤪
Scales relocated is giving better readings...we'll see. Listening to Kate Bush and chilling, last 2 days of away

On day 4 of being sensible - calories have been 1200-1400 each day. Tracking does help accountability for sure. Have also done 40 mins of spin each day and 15,000 steps.
Will weigh in on Saturday 😬 feeling nervous as know I gained on hols.
mrs glad you got the omeprazole, my mum is on that for stomach acid issues and it seems to really help.
not I love a bit of Kate Bush!
happier pizza, wine and holidays sounds blissful. Just realising we didn’t have pizza on hols, will have to plan it in sometime in next week or two.

Happierwithouthim · 19/08/2021 10:56

Woohoo 🥳
Gen you've made a great start so gain should be lessened

I have 4 PT sessions left from before last lockdown so going to do 2 per week from beg of Sept to give myself a kickstart

Ate out last night and had 2 glasses of wine, didn't sleep great so not got going properly today yet.

The stupid thing is Not that l knew about this from Mum and work and l didn't even consider it for me !! Thank you so much 😀
Mrsmadevans · 19/08/2021 12:56

We love Kate Bush 😍
Well done Gen 😊👏
Happier good idea re the kick start PE lessons 😀👍👏
Off to Cardiff to see Dd2 to catch up 😀
Hopefully a good day food wise fingers crossed 🤞😀

Mrsmadevans · 19/08/2021 18:59

I had an Iceland chicken in black bean sauce and egg fried rice. I liked the sauce but the chicken was a bit dry and hard that may have been my over microwaving things 😂
DH did Dd2 grass , it wasn't raining in Cardiff can you believe it! Hope everyone is ok ☺️

Not2bObvious · 19/08/2021 21:28

Just home from a huge meal and I'm stuffed to the gills 🤢 Looking forward to Sunday when I can get back on track.
Quite chilly here this evening, really hoping I get a decent sleep with cooler temps. Last day tomorrow, travelling home Saturday, yuk, hate that part

Sunny here just as I have summer school coming up and lots of prep to do, classic!
Weigh day tomorrow, argh!
Food has actually been good but I worry 1400 is too high for me to lose.

northender · 21/08/2021 05:52

Safe journey back not
Sod's law eh Gen? We're going to a folk festival next weekend so am hoping for good weather. Should say though we've got a B&B booked! I like camping, but not camping at festivals.
Weighed on Thursday & was same as last week so considering what the week has been like, that was a victory. 12 pounds total loss so far.

Gensola · 21/08/2021 08:47

Weigh-in - 62.9kg so a kilo up from before hols. Not too bad, must have lost a couple this week as I had definitely gained. Staying on track for first goal of 59kg before embryo transfer in mid September.
Food today: 2 poached eggs with 1/2 avocado; leftover bean and “chorizo” stew with greens; veg burgers with homemade sweet potato wedges and salad (no bun for me!).
I’ve been putting my food into MFP and it’s the snacks and little treats taking me over the 1400 every time. Le sigh.

Gensola · 21/08/2021 08:47

north staying the same is a win! Hope the folk festival is good, I’d love to go to Cambridge one year.

northender · 21/08/2021 15:29

It was definitely a win gen but even bigger win today, down another pound!
