Chill out on your holidays ladies, then you feel refreshed and ready to go again.
I did our regular tabata class yesterday morning which was good, but after 3 consecutive days of tough circuit type classes, I'm having a rest day today!
Already planning this weeks meals and realising this is going to be key if I want to keep losing when I go full time in September. My go to lunch at the moment is roasted veg with feta. I roast aubergine, courgette, pepper, shallots & cherry tomatoes. It keeps well in the fridge to be used when needed. Co-op do good tinned soup which is a great stand by or I do a home made soup too.

Not2bObvious · 08/08/2021 08:54

Thanks to a lack of snacking last night, got another tiny drop so that's a positive. One more sleep😬
You're totally due a rest day north, feet up and relax! I have to do some family visits today

I sts again this morning so I'm 195.5lbs. If I can keep it under 196 until Sept and then get serious I'll be happy

Happierwithouthim · 08/08/2021 13:08

3+ miles walking done & only couple spoons leftover carbonara eaten yet. Going to make my own brown bread while I get on with some diy and make out a rough meal plan & shopping list and get into Aldi before dc come home.

Happierwithouthim · 08/08/2021 17:59

Had this & can of monster light since and two pints of water, got nutrifit taco fries for dinner

Spread was melted that's why it looks so thick!

Happierwithouthim · 08/08/2021 18:01

Aldi shop done, I'm back in the game. Think I might try nutracheck out for the week.

Not2bObvious · 08/08/2021 18:37

You sound really invigorated happier, loving the look of that bread 😋
Bang on calories, got an hour the treadmill early so I've hit my steps.

To lose 1lb per week it's allowing me 1740 & to lose 1.5lbs per week 1470 so I'll try that for this week.

Not I just think if my belly bloat diminished even a bit this week it would help me enjoy my holiday more. Distraction too, bf is given mixed messages.
The recipe is from a cooking course years ago, 30 mins at 220 deg and 30 mins at 150 deg.

If you keep to 1700'ish for a week, get the water and the steps in, you will defo see a difference in a week - I bet you'll see more than 1.5 off. Could be like those great first weeks of WW/SW/Unislim where you drop 3, 4 or 5!
Sorry you're getting mixed messages, I'd say you're not to tolerant of shite nor should you be! Know your worth and say what needs saying, of course I'm an angry middle aged wan these days so I take no prisoners - you mightn't have reached my level of anger yet😂

I've asked him to make me a priority, he said he would, first serious discussion about this was June bank holiday weekend, two months later I'm not seeing much of a change. I've told him I'd prefer to be alone, than lonely in a relationship. Over two years together now, up to him where we go from here.

I never have big first week losses. But maybe this will be the exception.

I've always drank lots of water & lately I can't seem to get it in. I'm feeling the effects too so trying to change all that.
Be prepared for lots of food spam Grin

Nutriquick taco fries plus some taco mayonnaise & 20g grated cheese for dinner

Steps at 13500.

Happier you are so motivated l am so pleased for you 😄👏👍
That meal of yours looked delicious 😋
Your Bf , l think it's good that you are able to be honest with him and explain what you want from your relationship. Good for you 😊👏👍

Mrsmadevans · 08/08/2021 22:13

Not thank you so much for being so kind about my being a lovely Mum. I don't think l really am but l do love them more than life itself. I make mistakes like we all do but l always say sorry & tell them l love them all the time , we freely say love you to each other , my own family never said it and it was one of the things l swore l would always do if l were lucky enough to have. Children. That and no smacking , l don't believe in it. It just frightens them and you are supposed to be the one person who they can trust above everyone else. I will get off my soapbox now 😊
Have not been bad at all fingers crossed it continues 😄
You've had a good day today well done ! ☺️

Happierwithouthim · 08/08/2021 23:39

Mrsmadevans you're a sweetheart. I think exactly like you about saying I love you & hugs, I am like that with my children too. I can tell you exactly when I was hugged last by my mother august 2002. I hug my children every day they're with me. I agree about smacking but I have smacked ds, but it's ineffective with him because he's just indifferent! So I don't do it, I want to parent with respect & understanding not fear.

Day 1 down & day 2 planned out.

Not2bObvious · 09/08/2021 04:50

I couldn't agree more with the hugging, does the heart good. I am guilty of the odd smack but I've realised over the years it's just doesn't do anyone any good so it's not somewhere we go now. I was never leathered, as we'd say, but I did get a smack for v bold behaviour. I grew up thinking it was normal - it's not.
Anywho, I've had a shocking nights disrupted sleep which is my pattern for the night before travel. Possibly a stressful day ahead, a year since I was in the airport - quite nervous but excited too.

Happierwithouthim · 09/08/2021 06:54

There's some theory about the number of hugs or human touches we need in the day & we don't get enough usually for our emotional well-being
196.9 on the scales this morn

I must be going on a flight too so not was awake from 3:30-4:15 this morning & alarm at 5:55, going to make my lunch tonight for tomo & that'll mean a later alarm tomo morn.

Where are you off to?

Mrsmadevans · 09/08/2021 21:21

I reckon I've eaten around 2 days of food & I swear I have gone very easy. Send help, I'll need assistance to be rolled onto the plan next week 🤦‍♀️

Enjoy the holidays not.
Had a heinous experience finding clothes. Annoyed at myself for putting so much weight back on
Will moderate this week and back to it 23 august

Not2bObvious · 10/08/2021 23:00

Them's the hard days, when you see what the f'it days actually result in. I'm carrying a good extra half stone & I have chub rub. That's my prize for copious amounts of crisps/chocolate & wine over summer. And now I'm lugging it around in proper heat. Well done me. Sooo, I'm trying not to make it any worse, today I'm doing better. Over 18,000 steps, not too much food or drink and no crisps. It's a start. I can enjoy it all without having to have it all

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 10/08/2021 23:09

Not enjoy 😉 that's specific enough for me, geography isn't my strong point!

Life hope you got some clothes
