My diet foods start with c today

northender · 04/08/2021 20:41

Not a good start to the week here. This App is all very well but I've been on it nearly 2 weeks now & still not allocated a dietitian/coach. It's frustrating as I was really geared up for it but now have been wobbling. Anyway, pulled it back today & hoping I can be at least another pound down at Friday weigh in.
Dd made lovely beef curry for tea & I had mine with a Maddhur Jaffrey cabbage & peas dish. Genuinely didn't miss the rice. Circuits booked for tomorrow, cardio conditioning Friday. In it for the long haul.....

Not2bObvious · 04/08/2021 21:30

That's frustrating north, but glad you feel you've overcome the wobble. Fingers x'ed for that pound.
Just over 10,000 and 1,200 cals. Bored tonight so kept away from the kitchen

Not I did some fabric cutting for my quilt project to distract me

Mrsmadevans · 04/08/2021 22:28

That sounds great, distraction is so good to keep us off the food North Smile
Not your second weighs are working for you , if it gives you comfort then do what works for you Smile
Life if they are anything like my diet foods they are choc, cheese, crisps & coke , not had a good day at all Hmm

Not2bObvious · 05/08/2021 11:31

Back to my sticky weight, my body just loves 166.2
So that's up .6 on yesterday's wrung out to dry weight. 4 days until I go away, tempted to hide the scales but slightly scared to. It's funny how I know I can't lose much or any weight in that time but my mind is convinced I can gain a hell of a lot. I've lots of nice holiday clothes that fit just fine or they did last week - no huge change from last week.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 05/08/2021 16:51

You have done great to stick to 166.2 Not that is no mean feat to stop from gaining and gaining and gaining.
Been ok today, busy taking Mum to the dentist and Hairdressers Hmm
Come home and collapsed on the sofa tea and toast and watched the Olympic athletics , really enjoy them Smile

Not2bObvious · 06/08/2021 12:05

Down the .6 again - yo yo yo! Wasn't going to weigh but glad I did now. Tried a resistance band/tube workout, eh no - didn't like it at all & spent most of the time worrying it'd spring back in my face and I'd spend my holiday with a black eye/missing front tooth! So that's the end of that. Got a 40 min session on the dread-mill too, just over 8,000 so that's a decent start.
How's everyone else doing? Be nice to check in before the weekend

northender · 06/08/2021 18:07

Haha not I'm not a fan of resistance bands either. Well done on the loss. I was 2 pounds down so 9 in total. Happy.

northender · 06/08/2021 18:08

Although circuits last night and class this morning we're killers, I felt like I could feel the calories burning!

Not2bObvious · 06/08/2021 18:56

That is absolutely brilliant north! You've clearly put a lot of work in, any sign of the dietician yet?
11,000 steps done, late dinner so pretty hungry

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 06/08/2021 19:32

Omg well done North that is amazing! SmileFlowers
Not excellent work , YOU ARE SO BRILLIANT at doubling down and getting on with it no matter what Smile
Not been too bad, had Iceland Chinese takeaway, i]microwaveable chicken chow mein, very low cal 301 and a few poppadums honestly l really enjoyed it , will have hat again Smile

Not2bObvious · 06/08/2021 20:52

That sounds like a great alternative to a takeaway mrs, good for you, I'll be looking out for that next time I'm in Iceland (I visit from time to time for quorn nuggets, my kids love them!)

The Iceland Chinese takeaway range is quite good for calories imho, tasted ok too 🤗
Yours sounds lovely though Happier 🤗😋

Happierwithouthim · 06/08/2021 22:44

I've only eaten half the kids pasta portion because I ate focaccia in car coming home, wait for the bloat tomo on the scales HmmHmmHmm

Do you know I got an email saying they're €1.50 today not sure if that's standard or special offer price
northender · 06/08/2021 22:53

Haha, I got my steps over 10,000 by walking between pubs! Back on it tomorrow...

northender · 06/08/2021 23:41

not still no sign of the dietitian. Annoyed really, but at least I'm so experienced that I know what works for meGrin just wanted the dietitian for extra help & accountability. Will make sure I get the 12 sessions when it happens

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/08/2021 07:05

I’m having my holiday and definitely restarting

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/08/2021 07:05

Promise

Happierwithouthim · 07/08/2021 07:34

Life Smile

Happierwithouthim · 07/08/2021 07:35

North are you so busy sewing quilt that you can't eat?

Not2bObvious · 07/08/2021 11:11

I'll be on a mission after my break away so you can join me life. I'd like to think I won't go mad while away but even not going mad still means dinner out every night and probably a fair few lunches out too. I always do a lot of walking but I'd need to walk marathon miles daily to counteract the drinks & food. Autumn is handy though, I can cover my bulk in a big jumper😉
Being lazy, watching stuff on my phone after breakfast in bed. Sts as yesterday weight wise so happy enough with that
