Wow those are super goals north, you're welcome to the thread Smile

Not2bObvious · 31/07/2021 09:30

Nice to have you here north, great goals and you sound proper determined. Excellent start with 7lbs, you must be buzzing.
Had a smidgen drop this morning which was very encouraging after a piggy day yesterday that I haven't fully logged. The day was fine, it was just the evening munchies with wine & tv. Will do better for the rest of the weekend

northender · 31/07/2021 12:27

I'm weighing on Friday and Tuesday mornings as that makes allowances for weekends!
Did a great but tough Tabata class this morning. Strayed yesterday as I'd had an interview (albeit informal) in the morning & then found out I got it, so there was a pub lunch and fizz last night. Stayed pretty sensible though, don't want to undo the good work.
Am going to ring the App people today as I want to crack on with the programme but can't as I haven't been allocated to a coach yet.

Happierwithouthim · 31/07/2021 12:31

Congratulations north celebrations are a necessary exemption

20 cals over including half height slice carrot cake & can of phat frog 🐸

Mrs I was able to access the programme directly as I'm NHS staff, but anyone can access it via GP I think. It's the NHS digital weight management programme if you Google it

Gensola · 31/07/2021 21:15

mrs’omg no broadband is my nightmare!!
Well done on the exercises not
happier I meant to say on the other thread that I love your ring!
Food today was awful, lots of funeral food - sandwiches and sausage rolls etc. Wine. Oh well!
Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary so we are going out for dinner, I’ll try to get a long walk in before hand.

Ooh happy anniversary gen, how many years if I'm not being too rude. Had a significant anniversary recently that was meant to mean a mega holiday, but you know, COVID and that. I was a child bride of course, flutters sparse and old eyelashes...

I know right [Gen] , we were like cross Hobgoblins here GrinGrin Funeral food is so fattening , yet very traditional and comforting in a way. Have a good night sleep and wake up refreshed and have a wonderful romantic Wedding Anniversary together lovely Flowers

Not you have just made me guffaw out loud Grin Grin
Gensola · 31/07/2021 22:30

not it’s our first anniversary! We got married in a lockdown Covid wedding in NI on 1 Aug 2020. It’s second time round for both of us, I was married for 11 years to my ex and he was married for 26 years to his. We met at work, both in divorce doldrums and hit it off, it caused quite a stir as we worked at a very trad school with very 1950s values so the age gap was defo not appreciated by many. Grin I too was a child bride in wedding 1 😂

Not2bObvious · 31/07/2021 22:46

Ahhh bless, newlyweds 💕💕💕

Gen.
Let all the begrudgers go f themselves once you too are happy that's the main thing.

Myself & bf are after having a spat he's happily snoring away while I'm in ds's bed mulling it over.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/08/2021 08:27

Ah happy anniversary gen
Funeral food is just, well beige
Hope the meal today is nice

Ah no happier, hope you make up and get some sleep
So young not!

Mrsmadevans · 01/08/2021 08:32

Happy anniversary to you both
Gen ❤️❤️❤️

Not2bObvious · 01/08/2021 09:10

Ugh, hate spats, especially ones that involve moving beds. Hope this morning it's all resolved, life's too short (does depend on the argument of course)
Back up the smidge I was down yesterday. I have a new sticky weight of 166.2, seen it 3 times this week - it's much better than the 171.8 of last Monday so I'll take it. Off for a walk soon, must drag body out of bed...

OP posts:
Gensola · 01/08/2021 11:46

Have been looking at wedding pics - I was about 3kg heavier then and you can really see it in my face. Hoping to continue the downwards trends after the posh dinner tonight haha
I read the book “Why we eat too much” by a professor of medicine Andrew Jenkinson and he suggested alcohol doesn’t make you gain weight - surely this can’t be right?!

Not2bObvious · 01/08/2021 19:15

I can tell you it's never helped me lose weight gen, it's probably my biggest obstacle as it effects my food behaviour. As a calorie source, once controlled, it won't cause gains 🤷‍♀️ Its just calories, doesn't matter what it's from in my opinion. It's clearly more complicated on an emotional level and of course nutritionally

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/08/2021 19:55

I feel it would be foolish to start next week as house hangs in the balance but I feel dreadful weight and health wise.

northender · 01/08/2021 20:00

Had a few drinks with friends yesterday but kept on track with food.
Cooked breakfast today low carb lunch & scone based pizza for tea. No alcohol
