I’ve got planted fascist feet Mrs (plantar fasciitis)

Oooo happier that does not sound fun

Mrsmadevans · 23/07/2021 18:18

OMG Happier l have had that it is awful absolutely awful!
You have my absolute sympathy , mine went away in time but oh it was so painful Flowers
I believe you can have a steroid injection into the area but the thought of it makes me rise in my chair !

Mrsmadevans · 23/07/2021 18:20

Sorry Life l meant to write to you not Happier Hmm
It is horrible! I think remembering the pain has made me write the wrong name !

Happierwithouthim · 23/07/2021 18:59

Mrsmadevans I think it's people might overuse them to enhance weight loss.

Happierwithouthim · 23/07/2021 19:01

Life what helped me was physio, had it when ds was a baby & remember taking dd once with me and it drove me to tears and she said to physio stop hurting my Mammy!

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/07/2021 20:44

I’m toying with going to physio. Insoles are helping and I’m wearing shoes which i hate but bare feet are worse.
My left side inside ankle is the worst but I’ve had issue with that hip since ds and the physio commented on it while sorting my pelvis

Mrsmadevans · 23/07/2021 21:41

Mrsmadevans I think it's people might overuse them to enhance weight loss.
OMG yes l didn't think of that Happier Life I bought a spiky roller thing thinking it would help and it was excruciatingly painful. Don't buy one of those whatever you do Smile
Happierwithouthim · 24/07/2021 08:14

Whatever will help at this stage life

Gensola · 24/07/2021 10:05

life sounds awful Sad hope you find something that helps.
happier that’s so cute! When I was about 4 my mum took me and my baby sister to the GP for my baby sister’s jabs and she cried when the dr jabbed her so I ran over and bit his hand and yelled «leave my baby sister alone» lol 😂 he was our family GP til I was like 22 and brought this up every time he saw me 😳
We had a work dinner last night - wine, much food. Bacon butty today but thankfully not hungover just tired.
Need to get on the bike later, I didn’t manage it yesterday with post vax fatigue then being out. My arm is bloody killing me!!

Happierwithouthim · 24/07/2021 10:42

Gen that's brilliant Grin
I'd the Aldi McDonald's fakeaway thing, two fried eggs & 3 medallions. I need a new non stick pan for sure.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/07/2021 08:25

Ate far too badly yesterday as missed lunch.

Mrsmadevans · 25/07/2021 16:43

Had a Chinese last night Hmm
Not feeling it l am afraid , am too disgruntled with myself tbh.
Hope everyone is fine Smile

Happierwithouthim · 25/07/2021 18:21

Ate far too much ice cream this weekend, I'm not even an ice cream fan, think I need an iv of water now, water wasn't good at hotel so I didn't drink much so I'm full of bubbles from fizzy drinks Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/07/2021 06:57

Braved ASOD 136. Eeek half a stone off. Need to plan carefully as running cupboards down

Happierwithouthim · 26/07/2021 07:41

Life you're getting there now

Not2bObvious · 26/07/2021 08:17

Back from my latest jaunt. SOD is showing my highest in a long time, strange but I don't feel too down about it. I was under no illusions before I braved the scales that I'd be seeing good news. Feeling very chunky & gutty.
It'll have to drop before I go away again...in two weeks. Fasting until lunch time to kickstart the calorie cut. Wish me luck!

Got dragged into a work thing so no aerobics. Need to do a couple of walks today and probably best for my feet’s

Protein shake and 5 cups of tea so far

Gensola · 26/07/2021 09:08

I’ve finally weighed and I haven’t gained weight, still 63kg so that’s a relief. Need to get these last 4kg/8 pounds off me somehow but keep slipping into the it’s summer so let’s have ice cream/wine etc mood. V bad. DH is mega stressed with funeral and family stuff too.

Happierwithouthim · 26/07/2021 10:28

Water so far this morning, got ds hot choc from van at beach & resisted carrot cake, going to make/get myself something now.

Not2bObvious · 26/07/2021 13:42

Already 2.2 down after a morning of fluids & some jog/walk/weights. Lots to go but it shows the carb bloat is real.
Well done gen on maintaining, especially considering the situation.
Wow for resisting carrot cake happier, you're in the zone!
Hope your foot is improving a bit life.
How's your leg mrs? Any improvement, hope you enjoyed the Chinese.

I did make a sausage sandwich on brown when I came home not & I've made brownies now for going to my friends but carrot cake for breakfast would've been just extra Cals

I weigh naked so I'm too lazy to strip to check if weight has dropped owing to numerous trips to loo

On a side note if you were me where would you have put my contraceptive pill GrinShock

Not2bObvious · 26/07/2021 16:06

Was going for a shower after workout, hence the strip down & reweigh. You've completely lost me on the pill comment? Gone back through thread and am still none the wiser 🤔 Sorry if it was something obvious, am exceedingly dense these days - wino weekends don't help

Happierwithouthim · 26/07/2021 17:30

That was me randomly thinking out loud, where might I have stashed my next two packets of pill.

I found them though, they were in the narrow press beside the extractor fan, I now realise I put them there because this was the medicine press in my parents house and I thought it would help me remember Grin they are now with my vitamins Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/07/2021 19:45

Pleased you found them. I hate objects that hide.
Over on calories as dough balls are very calorific 1649 today but fine as day 1 , only 9200 steps though which is unusually low

Not2bObvious · 26/07/2021 20:09

Haha! Glad you found them, that would drive me mad. I have a habit of chucking things in random handbags, my storage solution.
On 1309, just over 13,000 - not sure if I'll eat more or not. Skipping breakfast seems to help but then again, I can get super hungry later
