Dinner out for family celebration- Monday isn't exactly a party night but needs must! A bit too much food and a couple of glasses of wine but done now, tomorrow will be better and no scales til Wednesday at the earliest.
Your break sounds lovely gen. You didn't succumb, you enjoyed mrs, and well deserved no doubt, no excuses needed here, you have to eat 💕

Let's just say Tuesday SOD is even less of a friend to me than Monday after a carb heavy dinner and a rubbish night sleep. Lying here trying to decide what breakfast might make me feel better. Exhausted

Afternoon everyone Smile
Weather is not too bad but it's a bit chilly and windy here , hope you are dodging the showers Gen Smile
Not ahhh thank you for your forgiving tone , you are right but God this is so hard . l often wonder how do ppl who never seem to put on weight and fit into their clothes for years..... do it . There must be something drastically wrong with me to rely so heavily in scoffing junk Hmm Disturbed sleep is one of the worst triggers for me to scoff Not, tiredness really sucks , hope you are feeling more yourself now lovely Flowers

Not2bObvious · 06/07/2021 19:27

I hear you mrs, I've fought the hunger all day but have to confess to junk scoffing. So silly, should have had a bigger dinner or something decent instead of a load of chocolate. Over cals and under steps. Oh well

No weight recording here for day 3. Scales number is still very high, I'm not helping the carb bloat from Sunday/Monday with my food choices yesterday. I'll do better today. I should be doing weights but have second vac this avo so don't want to make myself any weaker/tired in case I get a reaction. Last time I stood in line for nearly 2 hours so factoring that in I'll take it easy'ish today. Have another medical appointment this morning, joy of joys

Decided to do a short weights session, only 25 mins, then a 20 min jog. Just in case I'm laid up the rest of the week!
Running around all day

Mrsmadevans · 07/07/2021 15:12

Very wise strategy Not hope second jab goes well Flowers
I have been absolutely awful today , just terrible , l cannot even tell you l am ashamed , it is the stress of taking Mum and Bob to the Solicitors. OMG l am crest fallen , cringing and exhausted ! Hey ho tomorrow is another day !

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2021 16:29

Please don't be so hard on yourself mrs, you need to eat. Maybe you need to reconsider the intermittent fasting approach, it can give an awful feeling of failure or defeat when you're just bloody hungry because you're working so hard.
The doctor said I should pay attention to labels and go low fat, cause I could afford to drop a few kg. Helpful that

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 07/07/2021 17:52

Not that was so unhelpful my God he has no bedside manner !
Thank you re hard on myself and yes l agree the IF doesn't seem to be helping , l need a rethink Smile

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2021 18:35

It was actually a She, not that it makes it any better or worse but seriously low fat? Look at labels? I weight train, I run, I walk - talk about assumptions because I'm a stone overweight. Think I haven't tried, really...

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2021 18:51

The doctor sounds like she is a Pratt.
Mrs stop and have a break. It’s one day of stress and you need to care for you

I’m fatty mc fatty here. My clothes are too tight and I feel bloated. No choc or ice cream and fuck me I crave it. Aldi was interesting but something has to give

Happierwithouthim · 07/07/2021 18:58

Not that's not even much overweight, doubt that doc has ever struggled with her weight.

I got a kiddie cup in centra this evening, I fancied ice cream, it also had a kind of kinder bueno sauce on top but it was portion controlled, I could've got a 99!

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2021 20:04

Ok I'm probably more than a stone overweight 😂 but seriously, I'm hardly on a waiting list for a gastric bypass at fecking 164lb! Asshat. Anyway today's steps and cals are good. Proud of your restraint life, and good for you happier, that's an excellent compromise.
Waiting to see how the jab effects me tomorrow, achy arm already

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2021 21:29

Still gone as out of order making you feel that.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/07/2021 21:31

How tall are you not?

Not2bObvious · 07/07/2021 22:15

That should probably say how short am I life, 5ft 4in. So top end of healthy weight would be 144 I think, ideally I'd like to be 137. Lucky she didn't actually put me on the scales, the 164 (which is my bloat weight today) was in the nip at 7am! With jeans/runners/top/food in etc, you'd be looking at 168-170. She'd probably have prescribed me fat burners or suggested jaw wiring. Low fat my fat arse

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/07/2021 06:45

Same height as me so not massively over weight either.

No weight here. Day 2 no chocolate or ice cream

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/07/2021 06:46

I also seem to have developed planted facist foot I can’t spell planter fashiatus or whatever it is

Not2bObvious · 08/07/2021 07:21

Plantar fasciitis- heard it's horribly painful, lots of stretches on YouTube that might help?
I'm the same there or thereabouts since Monday. So up 3lb on last Friday with a day to go. No weight being recorded until I'm under the last lowest, too annoying. Arms leaden this morning but better than last jab.

life sorry to hear about the foot (fascist foot made me laugh through) that is supposed to be very painful.

not I went to the doctor in Dec 2018 for a smear test and asked about fertility treatment while I was there, she weighed me and was like ooh 68kg! You’ll need to lose that excess! (BMI was about 26/27, I was size 12!) and I was wearing clothes and shoes too! Cheeky b**h!
mrs solicitors sounds stressful, don’t be embarrassed though, it’s not on you if they misbehave Flowers
We had a lovely day yesterday - coffee and crepes and shopping in Hay on Wye and a lakeside walk. Today we are tackling Offa’s Dyke, so a 10 mile hike with some very steep ascent and descent. My legs have only just about recovered from the hill walking on days 1 and 2 so it will be interesting Grin I am currently yelping when going down stairs 😂😂

Gen Hay is just lovely , Offa's Dyke is a trek and a half good luck with that Grin Thank you re the sympathy re the Solicitor visit. I was just rolling my eyes the whole time , amongst other things , my Mum said l do not know how many times to the solicitor. ' There's nothing going on mind' referring to her and Bob living together Hmm Blush
Mrsmadevans · 08/07/2021 16:42

Life thank you so much , l feel just like you , bloated , tired, fat and lazy.
Fatty McFatty Grin

Gensola · 08/07/2021 16:44

Hahaha mrs why was she denying it 😅 is she pretending to be single for the solicitor?!

We made it up onto Offa’s and down to Llantony priory where we had cold drinks and crisps before walking 5km back to the car. Totally exhausted but it was a beautiful walk! We even got the sun.
Hoping DH will drive us to a little pub for a pre-dinner drink when we get back to the airbnb.
19,800 steps so I’m looking forward to my bangers and mash!

Mrsmadevans · 08/07/2021 16:49

Not when l saw a dietician many moons ago, she told me that as long as l was under 30 bmi then not to worry. She said once over 30 then the health implications start ramping up.
I don't know if she was just trying to be nice to me , or thought there was no chance of me making a lower BMI so didn't want to upset me . l don't think she would have said that unless it was true though Smile
Your GP needs to get real . You have done absolutely magnificently ! Flowers

Oh God l don't know but l just felt it was not necessary , the solicitor wasn't interested in her and Bobbo's sex life or lack of it Grin You have made me lol now at the ridiculousness of it Grin Also Bobbo was paying through the nose for the appt and she was taking up valuable time Hmm
