My freezer actually isn't as big as I thought and is shelved which will be different. Going to move what I have into it today & then do a shop after that

Happierwithouthim · 24/06/2021 12:46

I'm actually finding it ok, have been sticking to main meals really, no shopping done has helped too.

Bought the teeny pack of buttons rather than share pack etc

I'm rushing around though so would be easy to fall victim to rubbish, got small pizza tues, chicken kebab yesterday

Happierwithouthim · 24/06/2021 13:10

Maybe ask me again in a week or two when the excitement has settled!!!

My own brown bread keeps me going until lunchtime, literally one slice with butter at 6:45am and nothing until now, famished now though would usually have egg with it

Mrsmadevans · 24/06/2021 15:40

Congratulations Happier l am so pleased for you! YAY! Grin
Have been mega busy hence not online , been decorating MumBobs kitchen, Magnolia all the way Grin

Happierwithouthim · 24/06/2021 17:32

Mrsmad you're so good to them I hope they appreciate it.
Done well so far today and Thursday is my danger day as I finish early to collect children from school.

Brown bread for breakfast
Ham & cheese toastie and pear for lunch
Aldi protein bar carb killa knock off - going to buy a box of Cali Cali and be done with it.
Have ordered starter chicken & bacon salad for dinner and will have with my own brown bread at home

Got some Aldi butter biscuits for when the neighbours call 75cal each and choc hit so I won't feel left out

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/06/2021 19:40

No comment today re food and drink. 19300 steps thought

Not2bObvious · 24/06/2021 19:45

Busy day, not great on steps just over 10,000 - got 30 mins body pump done. Just over 1400, not sure if I'll have more or try leave it there.
Now, do I push on and try get the other 2,500 steps 🤔
You sound well in the zone happier, love it! I'm on day 4 of zone'age, tomorrow will be an indulgence with meal & drinks out. Back on track Saturday...I hope 🤞

Had a small piece of rocky road 178kcal & pack of satin crunch so not the worst Thurs & last one before school hols

Happierwithouthim · 24/06/2021 20:25

My steps aren't great but I'll have plenty at weekend

Not2bObvious · 24/06/2021 20:55

Ok, caved and ate another 200, but still 1600'ish is acceptable for a Thursday.
I bloody love rocky road, the odd time I buy the ones at the checkout at Aldi's - and have eaten 2 in a rowBlush

Happierwithouthim · 25/06/2021 03:16

I haven't got those in rocky road but found other ones sickly sweet! This was centra slices so cheesecake base underneath so not great!

Happierwithouthim · 25/06/2021 06:58

Just noticed on my happy scale which I did a fresh start with on 15th June that I'm 53% completed on my first milestone which is nice!

Not2bObvious · 25/06/2021 07:30

I love that feature on Happy Scale, it gives you such a nice lift doesn't it? Great work on the milestone. I restarted on the 7th June, and have 3.4 to go for my first goal. It's a very illusive goal, been chasing it for literally years and it's only bloody 3.4 away! I visit it the odd time, just can't progress past it. Maybe this is the year....
Down .6 today, which is .6 less than last Friday. Very pleased with that, I know it's not much but I had such an indulgent weekend, to be less than I was last Friday is an achievement for me.

Mrsmadevans · 25/06/2021 14:59

Aw thank you that is so kind of you Happier good work re the food! Smile
That is an amazing amount of steps Life great work!
I have been out for Coffee with my Bff today and didn't succumb to a cake so l am really pleased with myself Grin
Not that is excellent down .6 on last Friday well done!

Not2bObvious · 25/06/2021 15:25

Actually down 1.2 in the end, reweighed just before my lunchtime shower like last Friday. I think my Friday weigh ins will from here on in always have 2 parts😂
Wow, that's restraint mrs, I hope it wasn't too hard and that you didn't really want it. Life's too short to not eat the cake sometimes😉 My dinner won't be until 7.30, I'm not that hungry yet but I've another 4 hours so might have a snack of sorts in an hour. Maybe a bit of ham & cheese. Avoiding treaty snacks. Treats are not snacks anymore

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 25/06/2021 15:41

That's excellent Not big difference! Smile
l didn't mind at the time , l think about how l would be starving and longing for junk now so am pleased!

Happierwithouthim · 25/06/2021 19:48

Not maybe this summer you'll get there?

I hoped for even half a stone in 12 weeks weighing challenge with my friend, 1.5lbs is a good start.

Mrsmad that's restraint. Last two times I've bought takeaway dc have had brownies and I haven't, partly frugality partly diet €6.50 each. I've told them this is last time as I'll make them and have some in freezer for when they want them next

I'm making spice bag for dinner, I'm starving but it's nearly ready, also tired so once kitchen is fit for moving furniture into tomo I'm off to bed, dc are at their dads

Not2bObvious · 25/06/2021 20:47

€6.50 a brownie would cure me of any desire for sure!

Probably a maintenance day food wise. Tracked everything except half a choc lolly and milk. But had 450 calories left. 8800 steps thought

Not2bObvious · 26/06/2021 09:47

Good night out, maintenance calories so that's grand. Weigh in wasn't mad accurate as had to do it in my PJs, allowing a pound or so for that I'd say I'm 162.2, that's what I'm recording regardless. Wrecked today

Evening everyone Smile
Been fine again today, although we are having a Chinese takeaway soon so that will not be very frugal or healthy but it will be lovely Smile
Glad you had a Good night out Not. Do you the world of good Smile
Life that sounds like an excellent day to me Smile
Happier the cakes/brownies are expensive l know but it's a treat, once in a while treat and it is lovely to have a treat & to spoil the Dc Smile You sound as if you are really getting on with the moving in well done!

Happierwithouthim · 26/06/2021 21:42

Well at 17k steps today from lugging boxes and furniture with the help of my bf his bro and some neighbours I'm so humbled to have had so many people be so kind and helpful to me today.

Sleeping in my new bed tonight rather than a mattress on the floor!

Not moving stuff into the house until cleaners have been and they're not coming until Wednesday.

Getting Italian takeaway tonight, and have ordered myself dessert. And will endeavour to use my phone as hotspot for dds tablet and try watch something on Netflix. After not having it for 16 months I'm open to recommendations Smile

Happierwithouthim · 26/06/2021 21:44

Sounds like we've all had maintenance days. I'm not back using mfp yet so not sure where I'm at.

Today I'd a sausage sandwich with no butter and a can of monster zero and W glass of rock shandy and I'm having my Italian pasta dish which will be a billion calories

Not2bObvious · 26/06/2021 22:25

You're absolutely flying it with the moving happier, great you had such help - human kindness means the world these days. Hmmm Netflix, so much stuff, so little time. I really enjoyed The Dig, and there's a new series of Workin Moms I'm dying to watch. If you haven't seen that, it's worth a go from the start. There's so much there though, you won't be bored.
Oooh Chinese mrs, hope it's delicious. You're always so good you deserve it.
Had a good day despite being wrecked. Lovely walk, bit of shopping that was much enjoyed but probably shouldn't - could do with some frugality! Money is just flying out. Ended the day on 12,500 and 95 cals over. That's a hella good Saturday for me. Utterly exhausted now so off to bed, night all
