I wasn't sure if that was an actual sickness or the slang we'd use here for upset stomach? Anyway I hope he feels better soon and you don't have to run around too much mrs
Over 3lb lighter than Monday, only 1.6 above what I was last Friday so I might get back there by this Friday. I've so many weekends away coming up that it's not going to be a summer that I lose weight. So basically the same as every year😂

Closing the kitchen early as had my treats earlier at the cinema. It's easy at this stage of the week, will work on it tomorrow too. Have an idea for a nice takeaway style dinner on Friday which would tick the lower cal/high protein box. Having a few days off work which is lovely.
How's everyone getting on?

Happy belated birthday life Wine

I’ve had the craziest week at work, have hardly had a second to think. Hoping to carve some time out for exercise now I’m allowed to again. Food has been good but there has been too much booze!
I closed my Apple Watch rings for the first time in months yesterday, hoping to keep that going from now on.
Work had a lot of leavers parties etc planned for after 21 June and it looks like they will all be cancelled which is so sad.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/06/2021 07:13

I'm feeling very bloated as had pasta last 2 days.
Getting loadsa steps and thinking about fitting in weights. Might be able to do it 3 nights a week and Sunday.
First time back to aerobic studio tonight for Zumba.
Tired today thought as up with doggo

Not2bObvious · 10/06/2021 07:25

Glad to see you're enjoying yourself gen, it's important to socialise after the year we've all had - you'll get to the exercise soon no doubt.
I'd say it'll be great fun to do a studio class life, I'd love that. My exercise is mostly walking this week, taking the kids out today to make the most of the sunshine. Did a good LM session on Tuesday, hopefully do it again tomorrow & Sunday before visitors. Weight down a smidge today, now only 1lb up on last Friday

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/06/2021 21:02

The studio class was good fun. 15k.steps today. I need hot weather lunches

Not2bObvious · 10/06/2021 22:54

Long walk out with kids, just over 12,500 so not huge steps but it'll do. Maintenance day by the looks of it. So 2 good days, 2 non diet days, if I can aim for the next 2 as very slight deficit days I'd be delighted.

Happy Friday all. According to happy scales I'm on average 1.3 lb up last week, which is fair enough. If I go Friday to Friday I'm .6 up, which is more palatable😉 There had to be a gain after such a guzzley weekend.

Aerobic in the park today. Still getting a comfortable 10k step

Gensola · 12/06/2021 07:45

Hi all. Good movement life - I need to get back to it all now I’ve been cleared for exercise. Actually feel quite excited about it after being so sedentary.
Scales say 63kg so have somehow had 4L of fat removed and ended up only 1kg lighter. Current theories are it’s still swollen and/or I’ve put on weight elsewhere while being sedentary for a month which I can now lose, bringing me down to a true weight loss of what I had hoped which was 4kg!
My first goal weight is 59kg, ultimate goal is 55 but not sure that’s realistic anymore as when that was my «normal weight» I did no exercise at all and had no muscle tone whatsoever and now do have quite a bit.
Once IVF cycle is out of the way in August (assuming it fails) I’ll have surgery 2 on inner legs and knees, he says 2-3 litres there.
If I end up pregnant then fat knees will be the least of my worries Grin
Hope you’re all having a fab weekend x

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/06/2021 07:48

Start gently gen
Great news on the clearing to exercise. I think your body has been through loads and needs to settle again before you get your true weight.
My health, nutrition and medical qualifications are clearly still in the post Grin

Yes, weight wise you might weigh more but have a better shape due to weight training. Hence photos and the tape measure, calipers

Afternoon everyone , l have been MIA l am afraid . Dh has been really poorly with terrible gut rot. He has been so bad l have hardly had time to go online , he is better today thankfully but having to do MumBobs and look after him has left me absolutely knackered. However plus point is that l have been excellent with my IF Grin how that happened l don't know Grin but l am so thankful for it Smile
Anyway how is everyone doing?
Gen l don't think it matters how much you have lost on the scales really just how do your legs look lovely ? I am sure there must be a big difference in the way they look. Did you do before and after pics ? Smile
Not that sounds excellent to me Smile well done on getting it back
I had about 20 mins of craving junk this afternoon , l ate some Cherries and had a drink of flavoured water and sat on it and it's gone thank God!
Life excellent work outs, sounds like you are enjoying them too Smile

Not2bObvious · 12/06/2021 20:31

Your poor DH mrs, and absolutely huge Thanks to you, no doubt you're working like a Trojan - no surprise IF is working, crazy busy is fastings friend!
Lovely walk with himself and my girls, perfect day🥰

Evening everyone. l hope all is good with us all. I hav been ok today , just had a bit of ice cream but it was a low calorie one from Waitrose and It was Lovely.
Thank you Not re DH l am so pleased he is much better today almost back to normal 🙏😊👏

Gensola · 13/06/2021 22:24

So glad DH is better mrs sounds really horrible!
I’ve started exercising again and it’s made the swelling a little worse but no pain. Will keep an eye on things.
Going to try to not drink this week except for Tuesday and Friday where I have work events. I’ve slipped into drinking most days which is no good.
mrs I did do before pics so I’ll have to compare, the surgeon also said it would take 6 weeks to settle so I’m probably being impatient!

Not2bObvious · 14/06/2021 08:13

I'll join you on the sober bench gen, with having the weekend away & few days off work I've drank more days than I should have. Away again this weekend so that's another challenge. Up 1.2 on Friday which is acceptable, mostly awake since 3am so it's going to be a struggle to avoid the sugar today. I know I say this regularly but I really really want to lose some weight, worn out from going in circles. I suppose what's key is I'm maintaining to a degree but I feel I have to break through to the next level, so get into the 150's. Sigh...

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/06/2021 08:44

I braved the asod this morning. Urgh. But back to it now. 1600 ish and aiming for 10k steps and weight workout today

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/06/2021 13:52

And I've completely lost the plot as eating to abate a sickness feeling. Tracking it though so it's a start

Not2bObvious · 14/06/2021 13:55

You're back in the game life, that's a positive. The fear of what the scales will report is worse than facing it (only when ready of course) You've got this, hope you feel better soon.
I'm achey from yesterday's weights, and I'm zonked from lack of sleep. Trying hard not to eat my way through it. Nearly 7,000 - that'll do nicely

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/06/2021 15:41

Calorie wise I won't be that far over. May go for for a walk in a bit

Not2bObvious · 14/06/2021 18:39

On around 1500 and just under 10,000 steps, that's as good as it'll get when I think worn out. Hopefully the aches will have worked their way out & I can do my weights tomorrow.
That's good life, did you get your walk in the end?

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 14/06/2021 18:56

Evening everyone Smile
News on Dh he has had Campylobacter , no wonder he was so ill poor thing. He is much better so the Dr didn't want to give him Antibiotics today , Environmental health rang as well trying to pin it down to where it was from. In the end she thinks it might be from stagnant water in the garden or a dog we played with but there is no telling really. Thank you all for your lovely best wishes, much appreciated Smile he's much better now thank God!
I have been mega busy so l have been very good, just had Salmon , new pots and runner beans , ate a whole Mango earlier , l am stuffed now Grin
Gen that's great you took pics , you will really see it on them l am sure Smile good for you to leave the booze off especially in this heat!
Not you are doing so well to just stay the same honestly it's so hard to do that! Smile Hope your aches are much better tonight Smile
Life keep going it will come back to you, the SOD are like torture to me , l rarely get on them tbh Smile

Not2bObvious · 14/06/2021 19:14

Your poor dh mrs, that is nasty from what I've read. When I think of how easily doctors used to fork out anti-b's, and they really do take it out of you. Maybe some pro/prebiotics would be good for him, his system must be wrecked.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 14/06/2021 20:30

Yes thank you Not l hadn't thought about that l will get him some tomorrow thank you Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/06/2021 20:52

Ooof no wonder he was ill.k have to ask how does it transmit? Was he drinking garden water and licking dogs?

I was on maintaining today and did some aerobics badly and a very short puppy walk.
Tis a start
