Hi.

Just wondering if anyone is doing Exante (or anything similar) currently. I have a few VLCD sachets in my kitchen cupboard and have ordered some bars. I’ll be starting Monday. Anyone else?

My starting weight is 18stone so I have to lose literally half my weight Blush.

👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼

Hi everyone, I'll be starting again on monday. Lost my resolve for a bit but am back on track 💪🏽

Day 1 for me, 172.4 lbs (12st 3lb) and my bg was 6.6. I'm aiming to get that down to the 4's and my weight to 126lbs (9st) to allow for the gain when I go back to eating more normally, I want to end up 133lb (9 and a half stone).

I'm back on again after having a break during week 13. I found it hard increasing the calories and then it was hard getting them back down again. But work is keeping me super busy, which helps.

Well done "Whowants2know, I was doing well until today, when it all went out the window

Work has been nuts, so although I've been ok on calories, I've only been having one or two products and not keeping on top of the water. I definitely feel the difference, as my energy levels tanked and I had the munchies.

I have just placed my first order with Exante and am hoping to start on Tuesday. Based on my BMI it suggested I do the 1200 calorie plan.

Can I ask what you all do to get such great losses?

Should I do 3 shakes or bars per day and then a 600 calorie meal?

What sort of meals do you have for the 600 calorie meal?

Appreciate any replies as I desperately need to lose 2 stone.

Hi all, I'm back - sadly my IVF cycle number 4 resulted in one embryo transfer but no pregnancy 😢. Amazingly I didn't put on any weight after this cycle. I'm still BMI 25.3 - exactly where exante took me to before I started this cycle. I gained around a stone on each of my previous cycles so am really glad this didn't happen!

I'm back on exante and will continue what I was doing before - 1 pack a day 2 low carb meals totalling 1200 cals a day. It will be at least 3 months before my next IVF cycle so I'm aiming for final BMI of 23 and to maintain it.

@Crazy8 when I was on the same plan as you I used to have a pack for breakfast around 10-11am (as late as possible helps), then lunch pack late afternoon 2-3pm. I used up to 200 cals for snacks during the day between packs as needed (vegetables and hummus, whole fruit with greek yoghurt, wholegrain crackers with cottage cheese etc) to prevent falling off the wagon and then used 400 cals or whatever was remaining for an evening meal (mainly fish/chicken and leafy vegetables/stirfries etc). I found it difficult to do and after a while so I dropped to 2 exante packs and 800 cals low carb snacks/meals. I lost most of my weight like that (fro my BMI 28.5 to 25.5). Then approaching my last IVF cycle I changed to 1 pack and the rest of the cals in low carb meals/snacks. During my cycle I've just been eating lots of well balanced meals fruit/veg/meat and wholegrains plus the odd bit of cake and I've maintained my weight for the past 4 weeks post exante. Despite all the hormones I had absolutely no cravings for sugar/chocolate this cycle and I honestly put it down to being on exante for the months before I started the cycle.

Hope everyone else is doing well, I've not yet had a chance to catch up on what I've missed on the thread.

Hope all doing OK?

I've been on and off with Exante, got a bit bored (and fancied a curry!) so now doing it mainly in the week with a bit of a break on weekends.

Got into a bit of habit of having muesli / porridge weekdays, with exante products rest of the meals. Doing OK, weight coming off slowly but steadily but think I can cope with it better than just exante.

Best of luck to everyone else.

I haven't been back to this thread for a bit, but it's a good time to update. I started mid-May at 13st8 and today I weighed in at 10st10. 40 pounds and now I officially have a healthy BMI. 🎉

(To be fair, the last couple of pounds was probably down to work stress, but the rest was all Exante 😁)

That's brilliant, well done!

@WhoWants2Know wow! That's amazing. Congratulations 🎉, it's an amazing achievement. Have you done a complete wardrobe overhaul yet? That's what I'm planning to do as a lot of my dresses, trousers and especially bras are too big for me now.

I think I also started in May at BMI of 28.5, currently shy of breaking the healthy BMI barrier. I'm at 25.4....so close.

Orangesandlemons77 · 19/09/2021 12:36

I am a bit cross with Exante today...ordered lots of the chocolate caramel bars ...and they all arrived dated best before October 2021...there is no way I can eat them all by then. Also, don't think they will take returns if the box has been opened. Sigh. Have emailed them - think they should give a discount or something as they are so short dated.
