Hi.

Just wondering if anyone is doing Exante (or anything similar) currently. I have a few VLCD sachets in my kitchen cupboard and have ordered some bars. I’ll be starting Monday. Anyone else?

My starting weight is 18stone so I have to lose literally half my weight Blush.

One whole lovely stone lost. New uniform trousers came today. 1 size down and they fit Grin

4 more points to lose on the bmi and I can apply to be a pcso, which is the goal.

Well done @Babysharkdoodoodood !

I'm struggling today. 11st 10lb 4oz.
I've had the skin off a roast chicken (441cal) a diet snack bar 🙄 (99cal &12carbs) and a slice of smoked cheese (114cal) so I'm pretty much at my 650 limit already ffs.

I think I might try and fast now until 12 tomorrow, but I'm so hungry.

I'm annoyed at myself because before my bday and that Indian, I wasn't hungry, I think I was in deep ketosis and since then I've been really quite hungry and craving cake. It could be because when I meet my friend for a walk, we stop and have a drink and I've been having coke zero, so it could be the sweeteners.

Any way, how's everyone else getting on?

WhoWants2Know · 18/06/2021 08:23

This week has felt like torture, but I'm another 3 pounds down, so it's all in the right direction. 1 stone and 11 pounds left to go.

Orangesandlemons77 · 19/06/2021 09:36

Hi hope it's ok if I join, just had a trial box and ordered some more.

What are your favourites for protein ideas with the plan? I'm veggie so thought maybe high protein Skyr or greek yoghurt zero, or cottage cheese might work.

👋

I've got no idea about low cal veggie protein, I'd have said nuts but they aren't low calorie so you wouldn't get much bang for your buck.

Cottage cheese, Quorn and nuts are my favourites, but I also find that the products are higher in protein than my regular diet-- even without adding extras, I can get 100% of my rda.

Thanks Flowers

3Britnee · 20/06/2021 06:50

11st 8lb 4oz for me today, so that's a loss of 4lb since last sunday 👏

Helene2019 · 20/06/2021 09:49

Welcome @Orangesandlemons77 first week getting on the wagon is the hardest. After That it does get easier! I liked the previous suggestion of mixing the shake powders with an egg and baking powder to make muffins or into yoghurt/milk and freeze into lollies.

A woosh week @3Britnee! 🎉

@WhoWants2Know - keep going because you are still losing. My perk me up (instead of completely falling off plan) is 20g 70% dark chocolate. I started off eating this every day but now it's only a couple of times a week. I find it gives me a little treat boost but stops me binging on anything else.

I'm down another 1.5lbs this week and BMI has hit 26.5 🎉 (lost 2 BMI points in 7 weeks). And I'm almost over half way there to the unicorn that has eluded me for best part of a decade - a healthy BMI of

Hi all, joining you if you don't mind.

I started Exante 800 just over 2 weeks ago. So far I love it, I can't believe how well its working and how I'm not actually that hungry.

Starting weight was 16 stone. Week 1 loss 9lb, week 2 loss 5lb. So currently 1 stone down and on my 4th day of week 3.

I have 6 stone I want to lose overall and I'm hoping I can more or less do it by the end of the year.

Hi everyone, I'd like to join if you don't mind. I admit I'm usually quite vocally against what I call fad diets, however over lockdown I've developed a serious takeaway habit and I feel I need something extreme to break it. I often work long hours and have easy access to crap convenience food, so it's a potent combination. Having read around quite a bit I thought I'd give this a go, since it sounds like you're all doing brilliantly!

I weighed myself yesterday and I was a stone heavier than I expected! I'm quite tall so although I've definitely noticed some clothes getting a bit tighter it's not been super visible to outsiders, although I notice my stomach and arse as though they're lit up like the Blackpool illuminations.

I'd like to lose up to a stone but probably no more, so I'm hoping it doesn't take more than a couple of months(?) - we will see how realistic that is!

I don't intend to go full-on immediately - I thought I'd replace breakfast and evening meals and continue to eat a normal lunch at work (my colleagues are lovely bless them but we're all nosy buggers and if I started drinking shakes for lunch eventually someone would ask), and see how that goes. I intend to keep going to the gym as well so I want to make sure I keep my energy levels up.

Helene2019 · 21/06/2021 21:30

Wow @Wimpund21 good going. 1/6th the way to your end goal 🎉

@Lockheart welcome to the thread. I started out meal replacing breakfast and lunch with a low carb dinner (sticking to 1200 cals a day) and have lost 1-2lbs a week, so you will lose it in no time. For me this has been a good balance and easy to stick to. I've never felt hungry.

Orangesandlemons77 · 22/06/2021 08:19

First proper day here, posting to keep myself in check, have had a white chocolate cookie for breakfast. Planning on doing 3 products and an extra protein shake (I have some by Purition and Pulsin) for the next few days, probably going on to one meal with time.

Lockheart · 22/06/2021 15:01

My box just arrived! Not sure about the pancakes but I think everything else in there looks good! Would have liked more than 3 soups but hey ho, if it works I can get more specifically.

I presume the spiral metal ball is to help mix the shake...?

The pancakes are lovely! I didn't like the soups much, they had a weird taste. Add more water than they say and add herbs and spices. And yes, the ball is for the shaker. Make sure you wash up your shaker asap because it can smell otherwise and it's pretty rank, like if you have it at lunch and then have to carry it around til you get home.
3Britnee · 22/06/2021 16:05

Ahhh I bought a dress this morning in the charity shop, a size 14, and it fit when I got home!!

Orangesandlemons77 · 22/06/2021 16:22

I have already eaten the daily amount and a salad and yoghurt so that is 1200 cals - it's only 4pm feeling a bit embarrassed.

Maybe it takes a bit of getting used to. I'm not finding the shakes very filling. I usually add some frozen fruit to smoothies and blend them which makes them nicer and thicker. Not sure if this will work with this plan though, might be too sugary?

Did you add ice to the shakes and blend in a blender? They come out like McDonald's ones if you do.

I find it easiest to have set times to eat, I do 12, 4 and 7.45 (so done by 8)

2020in2020 · 22/06/2021 20:33

Hello, I’d like to join if that’s ok! Started yesterday, have 3 stone to lose. Been faffing about losing and gaining the same 7lbs with on/off SW for years. Just want the weight gone!

I have tried exante before, and found all the soups not to my taste. Are the pizza and fajitas worth buying?

Wimpund21 · 22/06/2021 23:27

Hi 2020! I'm another that faffed with SW for too long - I've lost more weight in a fortnight with Exante than I did in 6 months of SW.

If it helps at all, the soups are much nicer if you add to them imo. I tend to use an extra 50ml of water as I find them a bit thick and then throw in a good bit of salt, pepper, mixed herbs or chilli flakes which drastically improves them!

Haven't tried the pizza or fajitas though, I'm on week 3 so far and didn't have either in my 4 week box.

Wimpund21 · 22/06/2021 23:31

Also if it helps anyone - someone on the FB page earlier posted a code CLOUD20 for £20 off a £60 spend.

I wasn't holding out too much hope but was delighted to find it worked on the 4 week box plan (most discounts don't seem to apply to those). So I've just bought my second 4 week box for £49.99!
