@Knittingnanny I can't drink the plain kefir - too tart for me. I am currently having a vanilla one (first time I've tried this flavour and it's very tasty!). I am in awe of how some people like your husband can just have a piece or two of chocolate and that's it. It is incomprehensible to me!
@SwimmingOnEggshells what is your meal plan for today? I am pleased your weight is holding steady and I would not have the restraint to avoid the Easter chocolate either if I had any in my vicinity either. Today is a new day for you.
@WellTidy I have missed your updates of your walks, I didn't realise how much they were inspiring me to do similar on a more regular basis. I did a long 2 hr walk yesterday and ended the day with 16k steps.
@Sooverthemill try the best you can today, it is hard when you are feeling unwell - I know I immediately go for carb heavy cheese laden meals when I'm not feeling 100%
So I've come to my first bump in the road...I think I am have the start up of a flare up brewing (I have IBD). I need to go to low residue, low fibre diet for a few days to give my gut a rest. For me, this means I go straight to bread, eggs, pasta, rice - essentially a biege diet. I deliberately did not buy any bread today as I am going to do my best to avoid relying heavily on that or pasta. I can have fruit and veggie with no skin or seeds - but I normally forget that and just stick to toast, toast and more toast.
So today:
B - vanilla kefir drink
L - scrambled eggs, with avocado and half a sourdough baguette
D - veggie sausages and mash
