Hi,

Thought I'd start the new thread ready for tomorrow. I am aiming to be 9st1 by the end of March, have decided to be ambitious for once.

Well done Honey, it's a marathon not a sprint as they say.

Octopus37 · 18/03/2021 08:33

@TheHoneyBadger thats fantastic, well done. '@Overweight totally understand you feeling grumpy with your DH, he needs to pull his socks up. 9st6 here this morning, down half a pound which is something

Thanks 😊 over 3st to go which sounds insurmountable but just got to keep chipping away at it.

Overweight · 18/03/2021 22:02

Well done @TheHoneyBadger You'll do it! We will do it.

I had a pleasant surprise on the scales, managed to lose a bit more after two lesser weeks, so not sure if it was period bloating or the result of how hard I've been trying in the last few days. Either way, a good reminder of how it can work when I focus and don't eat any outstanding calorie allowance in chocolate buttons at the end of the day Grin 1.4kg off, which is 3lb.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 18/03/2021 22:20

Well done Honeybadger and Overweight! I'm out for tomorrow's weigh in I'm afraid. I went from bad to worse last Saturday and fitbit is broken to top things off. So I'll be back to you all next Fri with weigh in and hope damage hasn't been too awful. I'll be honest, I have been considering taking a total break, just eating and seeing if stopping thinking about it actually helps as I seem to be on a mission to eat as much as I can at the moment.. Blush Anyway ill check in next Fri AM.

NutellaEllaElla · 19/03/2021 07:56

Having a diet break @HeyGirlHeyBoyHeyGirl.

3 of my 5 holiday lbs melted off this week! Happy with that. I'm trying not to want to return to my lowest number because it's not necessary but when you've seen it....you kinda want to keep it! And I worry a bit that it'll be a slippery slope.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 19/03/2021 08:46

Trouble is my body has been on a diet break for months but my head hasn't, not a good combination. Anyway feeling good this morning and positive and I feel the pressure is off. Happy Friday all!

Octopus37 · 19/03/2021 10:48

@Heygirl can relate to this. Maybe we just need to stay vaguely on an even keel and take the pressure off ourselves. 9st5 this morning, managed over 16,000 steps yesterday so I'll take that as a positive. Happy Friday all

Hey, as Jordan Syatt says, . You're still here! You don't have to be. You'll get back in the groove eventually. You're doing fine. Smile

NutellaEllaElla · 19/03/2021 10:50

Oh, WATER WATER WATER EVERYONE

TheHoneyBadger · 19/03/2021 16:01

Knackered. Over 1700 calls burnt already just from work. 6000 steps mostly running around looking for missing books and trying to find a working printer.

Curling up on the sofa for a rest.

Must resist takeaway

kryptonfactor · 19/03/2021 16:41

Well done @Overweight and @TheHoneyBadger. Resist the takeaway! We made a pledge to not order a single takeaway this month and oh my goodness it is harder than it should be.

I weighed in at 10 stone exactly this morning, it was just under - literally 9 stone 13.5 - so I rushed to get my phone to log it on the app (love it when it's in the 9's) but when I hopped back on it was 10 stone dead on and I was gutted! So silly how my mind works. PT session then in the library all day, step count is around 14,000 at the moment and then I'll have a 3k walk home at about 8pm, so hoping to end up on around 17,000 again.

In all honesty my diet just isn't good enough which I think is why I am not losing. Really planning on tackling that from now onwards. Also lamenting the fact that all the drinking fountains in uni are off at the moment (COVID of course) I take two 750ml bottles with me each day but would happily drink another one, if I could refill it. Try to drink a little more at home as well so probably getting around my 2L but that's quite low for me really.

TheHoneyBadger · 19/03/2021 16:44

Ha I'm similar. I hop on and if it looks good I get my phone just as you described. So yes crazy but you're not alone Wink

drspouse · 19/03/2021 18:49

Trying not to go over today as I did a long bike ride so I'm hungry but I went over on a couple of other days when I didn't ride so I'm just crossing my fingers for weigh in tomorrow.

NutellaEllaElla · 19/03/2021 19:16

Well done everyone! Made it to the weekend Smile.
I've had a thirsty day, i've drunk 3 litres of water! Very unusual for me. I'm ravenous for dinner which should be ready in about half an hour. Chicken Parmigiana in the air fryer and spinach. Yum.

Overweight · 19/03/2021 19:25

I am currently in DD's room trying to get her to sleep - my tummy is growling so much it's probably what's keeping her awake! Have a good weekend all!

drspouse · 20/03/2021 09:09

1lb (and 1/4) off, all the cycling is helping!

Octopus37 · 20/03/2021 09:12

Well done everyone. I'm up a bit this morning, think I will start weighing less often. Got a GP phone appointment following on from blood tests, on Monday so will hopefully know whats going on with hormones. I am going to try and walk more, drink more water and generally get on an even keel more this week. Hope everyone has a good day.

drspouse · 20/03/2021 09:27

Oh and that's down to a 2018 weight...

TheHoneyBadger · 20/03/2021 13:19

Weight down by a teeny bit despite caving and having fish and chips and beer and wine.

I did burn about 2500 though so maybe that covered it.

I woke up to the smell of beef stew that I had in the slow cooker so that's food sorted when I get round to eating.

Happy weekend everyone

TheHoneyBadger · 20/03/2021 20:46

I have lived on my beef stew today and that's all I've consumed bar a couple of gin and tonics. The only notable calories in it would be the beef and the two potatoes and a tablespoon of seeds I put in (also some carrot, baby broad beans and onion but obviously very low calories there) and the bit of olive oil I cooked the onions and browned the beef in.

I 'think' that makes it a pretty low calorie day despite having had three good bowls full between mid afternoon and just now and feeling very satisfied.

Very inactive day though - look set to only burn around 1750-1800 cals.

Octopus37 · 21/03/2021 08:42

Well done @TheHoneyBadger. Food not amazing but steps very good for me yesterday, over 20,000. Did a lot of running around in the morning, then went for a long walk with one of my friends. Haven't weighed in today, getting to the point where I dont want to know. Going to focus on steps instead at the moment, hoping the rest will follow when I get back into the right mindset.

TheHoneyBadger · 21/03/2021 14:35

I fucked it up with a of late night snack attack sadly Octopus.

Scales a little bit up this morning unsurprisingly and I've also decided I'm going to let myself have a few beers this evening.

I shall endeavour to be really really good after tonight.

Octopus37 · 22/03/2021 08:04

Food not too bad yesterday and I managed over 13,000 steps. Trying to focus on things other than the scales this week. Will weigh in on Friday. Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

NutellaEllaElla · 22/03/2021 12:38

Hey, checking in. Haven/t covered myself in glory this weekend tbh but i'm doing well on my water target for the day.
