Welcome to the 'lose 7lbs per month' thread. Our usual host @cricketmum29 is having a little rest for Feb but we can follow her good example and continue to give each other support and inspiration and I'm sure she'll drop in when she's feeling well. Flowers

All are welcome to join, there's a really good mix of diets and methods and everyone is really helpful.

Previous thread is here: Jan lose 7lbs thread

I started last year and I'm so grateful to all the support and kindness throughout the months Flowers Jan was about maintaining for me but finger's crossed February will be about losing again.

February has been very up and down.

Started the month at 181lb
Ending at 178lb

Only 3lb down and I've lost and regained that 3lb a couple of times. Desperate for gyms and pools to reopen so I can go back to doing my swimming and feeling more motivated to exercise.

March, I would like to hit at least 7lb loss. I need to get to 164lb to be in the healthy BMI so 14lb to lose to get there. It would be nice to achieve that ready for summer clothes shopping when primark and the like re-open and I can use my Xmas vouchers.

Stilltalkstotrees · 28/02/2021 11:06

Final Feb weigh-in.

SW 1/1/21 12st 1lb
Feb SW 11st 3lb
Feb end weight 10st 8lb

Very happy :)

Weight 3 1/2 years ago (before some major family bereavements) was 8st 10 - can I get back there? 🤞 by end of July = 26lbs in 22 weeks.

TheStirrer · 28/02/2021 21:46

Well not my finest month but still 4.5 lbs lower which is better than a kick up the bum. Currently 13 st 5.5lbs so next months sim is to try to lose 7.5lbs so I am 12st12 and will just be overweight rather than obese.... here’s hoping.
Well done all for hanging on in there

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 01/03/2021 07:42

🎈🎉🎈177lb this morning🥳

I've lost 4 stone exactly now. And less than a stone to go to hit the healthy BMI range!

shreddergodo · 01/03/2021 07:54

Hi all. Not a great month for me. I lost 1lb! I need to try much harder now- especially as I really want to get into my nicer summer clothes this year!

EasterIssland · 01/03/2021 09:18

we need a march thread :) this thread has been helpful :)

GetTheStartyParted · 01/03/2021 09:18

Well done @HalfShrunkMoreToGo Star

Well done to everyone, no matter how successful, we are all trying! Grin

I've lost 4.5lbs in Feb. I wish it was more but still suffering with TOTM issues, so long as I'm losing I'm going to be happy with it.

Foresttheout · 01/03/2021 09:27

Weighed myself this morning and lost a whole 0.5kgs for February Blush I spent the last 2 weeks losing and then gaining the same 0.5kgs. Ohh well hopefully it'll give me a push to do better in March.

Onesmallstep67 · 01/03/2021 12:19

I didn't weigh this morning. It's my birthday and my DDs had put together a calorie laden breakfast which I was delighted obliged to eat. Think I have roughly finished February 5lbs down. Obviously today is a write off calorie wise but looking to get back on it from tomorrow. Then a real concerted push to Easter. I sent for a dress online and at the moment I look not far off a sausage in it. It was a bargain so I am going to keep it and make it my benchmark item of clothing for measuring my progress going forward.

Ecci · 01/03/2021 12:49

2.8lbs down in February, so not great but it's in the right direction. Some great losses on here, well done to all.

NerrSnerr · 01/03/2021 15:13

Hope you're feeling a bit better @cricketmum84 and you didn't lose another 20lb in Feb!

ILoveAnOwl · 01/03/2021 19:01

SW- 117kg
TW- 67kg
CW- 107kg

7kg down in Feb. 10kg in total so that's 20% of my total lost.

Noone in real life has notice yet. Humph!

Aiming for 4kg off in March.

GetTheStartyParted · 01/03/2021 19:36

@ILoveAnOwl well done. It took so long for people to notice I had lost weight but then after about 3st, loads of people noticed and the compliments came thick and fast. Perhaps they were to polite to say anything until they were REALLY sure.

People will see the difference soon enough, hopefully quicker than they did with me! Grin

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 01/03/2021 19:48

@ILoveAnOwl I've hardly seen anyone since starting to lose weight so really looking forward to Thursday when I'm going into the office for the first time in months. Wonder if they'll notice (or say anything) that there's 4 stone less of me???

ILoveAnOwl · 01/03/2021 20:13

@getthepartystarted that's a great weight loss! Well done!

ILoveAnOwl · 01/03/2021 20:14

@halfshrunkmoretogo let us o ow how it goes! Well done on the incredible loss!

GetTheStartyParted · 01/03/2021 20:42

Thank you. I've gone from 15st5 to 11st4, from a size 18 to a size 12 Still need to lose another 2st.

@HalfShrunkMoreToGo They will definitely notice, I hope they are brave enough to tell you how fab you look and how well you have done.

GetTheStartyParted · 02/03/2021 16:30

How are you doing?

I'm unusually hungry today. I have planned my food so will be sticking to my 1400cal and under 20g carbs but could happy eat everything in the kitchen Grin

Sausage tray bake for dinner, I hope DH isn't home late or I may have to eat without him, I don't think I can wait today!

Howmanysleepsnow · 02/03/2021 18:02

@GetTheStartyParted I have unfortunately felt the same today... but without your willpower. I had a migraine yesterday and today I feel foggy, weak and hungry. I’ve written off healthy eating for the day and eaten junk. I won’t weigh in for a couple of days while I get back on track so I don’t have to face the damage!

GetTheStartyParted · 02/03/2021 18:50

Ahh, I hope you're feeling better. Migraines are terrible. I'm fed and watered now so I'm happy Grin It was very tasty.
