Hi, here's the new thread. Always love the new start that September brings with back to school and all the jazz. I'm unfortunately starting the month heavier, 9st2.5, bit cross with myself to be honest, know I have been comfort eating, its got to stop. Aim for this month is as ever yawn, 8st13.

Hello everyone,
Feeling very rough the last couple of days. Still recording everything but I may or may not eaten a couple of ice-creams.
Weight this morning at 65.5 I officially not longer overweight. Yay!
Original goal was 65 but I may move it to 63

TheHoneyBadger · 15/09/2020 16:40

I have plenty of fat for fuel marmite. I probably have six months worth of energy stored in my belly alone lol

I’m fairly sure I just had more than 6 teenagers on my drive knocking for ds. I’m so used to being in crowds of them it didn’t click. I’ll have the police knocking and die of the irony.

IDontMindMarmite · 15/09/2020 17:19

Oh massive congratulations @Lalanbaba!!

Heygirlheyboy · 15/09/2020 18:54

Well done Lalanbaba! Great news.

Octopus37 · 16/09/2020 07:15

Bercows glad you are on the mend. End up getting Dominoes last night (time issues), so predictably 9st2.25 this morning. DS still off school with a sore throat, got to go and get him anti-biotics later. Medical advice was that he doesn't need a test, but I have just found out that there is a covid case in his school (letter from Head). Dont want to be selfish about this but can just imagine a situation where we are locked down, with both boys off school, my Dad here and my DH still getting to go out to work, know we are all in the same boat but do not know how I would cope with that. Dad doing ok but he'll probably get bad news today. He is talking about splitting his time between my Sister's house (Brother in law has already said no), and us (we dont have a spare bedoom for us, at the moment DH and I are sharing with DS2), so would have to convert the garage. Glad my Dad's safe and sound with us but still a bit difficult.

14st0.4. Seem to have plateaued in a little bouncy band.

Will just keep keeping on.

Octopus37 · 16/09/2020 07:32

Well done Lalabana and HoneyBadger

TheHoneyBadger · 16/09/2020 07:34

I meant octopus sorry!

Heygirlheyboy · 16/09/2020 08:20

Really overwhelming octopus but don't go there in your head just yet.

Great things better Bercows.

I've hit a mini target this AM, 8st 12oz. Next target 8st10. Beautiful day here, hope everyone has a good one!

HoneysuckIejasmine · 16/09/2020 09:38

My little boy is a bit under the weather today. He seems happy enough in himself but he's warm and didn't sleep well. His temp is firmly in the 36°C range though so no need for alarm. I imagine running around in the sun at preschool yesterday is the culprit. Still surprised how anxious it made me though, dreading having to try to get a test if his temperature went up.

I feel like I can handle food today. So I'm going to give it a go. Scale dodging though.

B chicken omelette
L homemade coleslaw and mackerel salad
D BBQ chicken and green beans
S rocky road

Hangoverstruggles · 16/09/2020 12:53

Sorry to hear all the unwell ness is still ongoing. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate @Octopus37 We've had the usual back to school under the weather feeling and it is a worry, not just getting sick but the potential upheaval and isolation! Ours hasn't come to anything, just sore throats and a bit tired. No temps or coughs!

I'm currently 1lb over my lowest weight. Period has finished and trying to be good with food and also lots of water for a few days to see if it balances out. Thinking of a Chinese at the weekend so really need a few controller days ahead of that!

Linking my dinner tonight, really nice and filling.

Lalanbaba · 16/09/2020 18:38

@Heygirlheyboy that looks yummy
Today started self isolation as I have a cough and fever, any other time I would though is a normal cold but now who knows. Also annoying as I am the only one that doesn't go anywhere except the supermarket shop. Still couldn't get a bloody test.
B: cereal and milk. Tea.
L: mushroom, ham and cheese omelette. Salad
D: ginger chicken, green beans, carrot and basmati rice.

Heygirlheyboy · 16/09/2020 18:49

Nice menu Lalanbaba!

IDontMindMarmite · 16/09/2020 20:44

Evening all, I am feeling erm...bunged up...lately. I'm drinking loads of water, well trying to. Think i've had 2.5 litres today.

B: Overnight oats
L: Lamb and Barley soup
D: Jambalaya
S: 2 fibre one brownies/cake bars and two regular pieces of brownie

Heygirlheyboy · 16/09/2020 20:56

Fruit Idontmindmarmite. Those fibre bars are the type like brown bread I think, ie the fibre that slows things down...

IDontMindMarmite · 16/09/2020 21:40

Oh really? Well that's unfortunate. Good advice though, i'll pop to the shops and buy some berries tomorrow.

Heygirlheyboy · 16/09/2020 21:48

Worry I think it's not so much they block you up but too much without say plenty of fruit and veg does, for me anyway. Eh I remember my DM giving me brown bread if I had diahorrea as a child Blush It's hard to get the combo right for sure. And as you say plenty of water alongside both types. Weetabix and oats get things moving here alongside some fruit but at moment I am drinking over 2L water per day and can't drink enough it feels like.

Hope you feel better soon Lalanbaba. 9st1.75 here, didn't do too too badly with food yesterday but did eat too much cheese. Steps are quite good at the moment. Have managed to talk to my Dad a bit about tihngs and have had to tell him that living partially with us wont work unfortunately. Luckily he understood, not easy though feel guilty.

0.6lbs under 14st aka a whisker. Another period has started and the weird out of nowhere extra lbs have disappeared.

I have agnus castus to start taking again. My cycle is regular and therefore my mood more even when I’m taking them. Think it’s purely running out of them that has scrambled my cycle.

IDontMindMarmite · 17/09/2020 07:51

Morning morning, i'm happy as things got moving for me and I reached a new low. I was feeling worried about maintaining in winter when i'll inevitably be less active but this is reassuring. Getting closer to my higher cal allowance weekend. It's not great that my local deli are now tagging me on facebook with their new Nutella cookie products...
Have a good day everyone.

Heygirlheyboy · 17/09/2020 08:15

Oh Idontmindmarmite that made me lol!

Sounds like everyone doing well, great for you Honeybadger.

Glad you had an honest chat with your Dad Octopus.

All good here, down again to 8st11.5. I'm going to up my calories now to match a 0.5lb per week loss.

Hangoverstruggles · 17/09/2020 09:51

Morning everyone! Well done @Heygirlheyboy @IDontMindMarmite @TheHoneyBadger losses all round!

I'm also feel bunged / heavy and have avoided the scales this morning 😁 sticking to 1400 this week after a hungry weekend.

Do you guys remember that video about menstrual cycle and calories? I was mindful of it this cycle and it's so true! I was ravenous on the lead up to my period (luteal) and found I lost a little bit as my body was probably burning more cals. By eating more and responding to my bodies needs I didn't binge as much as I used to in that phase!

Lush breakfast this morning of coffee, and porridge with peanut butter & banana. So delicious!
