Here's our new thread.. 9st0.75 this morning, had some pub tapas last night and a couple of pints, was truly delicious. Will be having a couple of days when I'm away, going to my Sister's for a couple of days either today or tomorrow. I'm sure nobody can guess what my aim is for this month lol

Oh my 😍 they are little beauts!

MonsteraCheeseplant · 02/08/2020 21:40

The less I say about my calorie count today, the better. We had friends over for a BBQ.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 02/08/2020 21:53

Oh my they are adorable!

Heygirlheyboy · 02/08/2020 22:06

They're gorgeous monster.

Cheese sauce is usually 50g butter, 300ml milk, 75-100g grated cheese and a teaspoon of mustard. I also pop in a slice of onion and a torn Bay leaf which I take out before mixing with the pasta.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 02/08/2020 22:12

I just do a blob of butter, enough flour to make a rue and enough milk to make a thick sauce, then add cheese. Grin

Heygirlheyboy · 02/08/2020 22:18

Ah that's even better than my version Wink

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 02/08/2020 22:20

@MonsteraCheeseplant sooo cute!!! They are lovely ❤️

1440 calories

Heygirlheyboy · 02/08/2020 22:33

That's a lovely day of food for 1440 iggle! Yum.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 02/08/2020 22:34

I dunno, the mustard, onion, bay leaf addition sounds good to me! I adore mustard. I use it as a salad dressing, or stirred through butter fried mushrooms on nice granary toast... Delicious!

Must-ard some whole grain to my shopping list actually, I've almost run out.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 02/08/2020 22:35

And frankly, if there's no onion in it then it's not even dinner.

Hangoverstruggles · 02/08/2020 23:08

I've eaten ALL the calories today 😩

B coffee
L roast pork, crackling, potatoes, stuffing, tonnes of steamed veg, fruit tart and ice cream
D big bowl of oats, banana & berries drizzled with peanut butter
S few squares of choc, 2 Bourbon biscuits, glass of wine, picked at more of the fruit tart

MFP says 1850. I did a slow 5k run and a bit of weight training after but not moved a lot other than that.

I take solace in that before all this dieting we would have probably had the big lunch then a fuck-off great Chinese for dinner too!

keiratwiceknightly · 02/08/2020 23:12

Kitten pic is adorable.

keiratwiceknightly · 02/08/2020 23:14

I've done well but then went to the pub this evening and drunk more excess cals than I've eaten in a full week. Ah well, I had lots of fun!

Heygirlheyboy · 02/08/2020 23:35

On mushrooms.. Yum!!

Heygirlheyboy · 03/08/2020 09:17

Down again here today 9st 4.75 so that's 6.5 in 5 weeks. Thrilled. Visitors today so it's meatballs and all round big lunch today so I will enjoy it and watch tea and get my walk in. Have a good Monday all.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 03/08/2020 09:22

I often think this too. It might be a "bad day" for me now but before I would have eaten another 1000 cals on top and thought nothing of it.

Was going to have mushrooms with breakfast this morning but dh had shoved them to back of fridge and they were frozen. Hmm

B bacon omelette
L salad, chicken soup
D chicken and sweet potato Rogan Josh, courgette

Scales this morning were showing a 2lb gain on last week. Hmm I don't believe it's a true fat gain, more likely fluid from hot weather and long walks. Will weigh each morning and keep an eye on it.

TheHoneyBadger · 03/08/2020 09:32

Aww kittens 😘😘

I’m down a bit to 14st3.4 somehow. Just 0.6lbs over my lowest which is good as I was pretty rubbish this weekend.

Aiming for a long fasting window today. In an ideal world this would be my extended fast that I do every month or so but we’ll see how it goes.

Lots of black coffee, water and herbal tea on the menu for me.

I’m going to have an attempt at making a cheese sauce-I presume I can add lots of garlic? I’m a bit of a garlic in everything person.

Heygirlheyboy · 03/08/2020 09:38

I wouldn't usually but maybe you can fry some off at start with butter?

So true re what a bad day is now and what a usual day was! Means we're fitting in some treats which is the sustainable way!

HoneysuckIejasmine · 03/08/2020 09:46

Oh yes Badger, garlic would be fab. Also a big garlic fan here!

KatherineParr4 · 03/08/2020 11:02

@Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket

Snap! I was going f to make chicken in Parma harm tonight but no idea how many calories. How do you make it?

I need some recipes. I’m bored stiff of eating the same foods. I’m guessing a lot on the calorie front which is never good.

alwaysinpjs · 03/08/2020 11:26

@KatherineParr4 if I'm making anything I just add the individual ingredients into MFP and it tells me what I've had. Wrapped chicken isn't too bad but it obviously depends on the amount of cheese you stuff it with!

9st 7lb here so slightly up but it's ⭐️ week so unsurprising plus I've been around 1600 calories all weekend thanks to the nice weather and gin.

Back on it today.

keiratwiceknightly · 03/08/2020 12:02

Delicious breakfast this morning of cheese omelette plus a load of chopped leek and cabbage fried in butter with lots of salt. Not the healthiest/lowest in cals but will keep me full until dinner at 7pm and stop me reaching for the biscuit tin at 4pm.

KatherineParr4 · 03/08/2020 12:13

@alwaysinpjs

How do I input the I input the individual ingredients please?

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 03/08/2020 13:04

Hey @KatherineParr4 I just get a skinless chicken breast, wrap a slice of Parma ham around it, brown off in a bit of oil and the sling it in the oven on a tray.
Small chicken breast 110 Cal's, slice of Parma ham 50 ish
