Here's our new thread.. 9st0.75 this morning, had some pub tapas last night and a couple of pints, was truly delicious. Will be having a couple of days when I'm away, going to my Sister's for a couple of days either today or tomorrow. I'm sure nobody can guess what my aim is for this month lol

You're not really up 5 so definitely a time to hold firm. That was me 2 weeks ago, took me a week to get back but it happened quickly then.

Yeah, you'd have had to have injected butter in to your blood stream to have achieved that gain! Give it a few days, it'll go down again.

I'm 13,12.25 today.

B omelette (as ever)
L parsnip and mushroom salad
D sweet and sour chicken
S rocky road

Hello all,
Just been catching up with the thread as it's been a week or two. I've been agonising about moving from London to York over the past couple of weeks and that plus entertaining the kids has taken up most of my brain cycles.
I've been managing lots of steps and just eating to my hunger. Reached a new low today and now in the 12 stone something range which I'm really pleased about. For me there's a psychological effect for that!

Wise words @Octopus37 on shame and eating. Food is how we keep ourselves going not a bad thing we do.
And agree with the others that a gain of 5lbs in a short time will come off very quickly. Half will be water.

@Lalanbaba video interviews... What fresh hell is this? Hope you get the job x

Today's food plan is:
B. Toast, cream cheese, coffee
L. Leftovers salad
D. Dunno, tacos maybe

My DDs birthday party on Sunday so there will be cake over the weekend

Morning all. I am not sat dunking rich tea biscuits in my morning cup of tea at all Blush Next week is the start (restart) of healthier lifestyles with the school hike and more time for planning good meals. The exercise is going to make a huge difference. The problem there is that the more I exercise the more hungry I am 😩

Igglepiggle well done, isn't that our ideal, staying active and eating to hunger? Brilliant.

Injecting butter Grin I use lose it but out of interest looked back to old MFP entries. So this time last year I was 9st 5 so put on almost a stone between that and Christmas.. My mum died, 1st anniversary v soon.. Previous year I was 8st 11. Would love to get back there. At 4m preg I was 9st 4 and same 2 weeks pp Hmm

Had white wine last night. Have not had any wine since starting this but reeealllly wanted some so dashed out to Tesco. Two large glasses.

Got on the scales and have lost half a pound since Tuesday so at least I have not gone up.
At 9.00am had two eggs scrambled with a bit of serrano ham and the tiniest crust of tiger bread (sometimes you just have to have a taste of bread) and a coffee with oat milk.
Not planning on having lunch as am doing roast beef, roast potatoes (without any oil) and broccoli and carrots and gravy tonight. Need to save my calories.

@Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket is previously to an interview. You record yourself online on bits of 30 and 60 seconds to basically sell yourself. I'm bloody hard working, hands on and deliver my kpis always. What I'm not good? sell myself on impersonal videos.
Today I have to go food shopping and I'm happy the nursery of the little one will open the kitchen soon!
B: porridge with blueberries. Tea
L: no idea is almost 2 and have a bare fridge
D: Steak with sweet potato wegdes

Like the name change I dont mind marmite.

Its a gain for me today 9st3.25, ate far too many carbs yesterday, probably cumulative this week. Also started my period, feel v bloated and achey. Hoping for a better reading tomorrow. Definitely aiming for a better couple of days now.

Scales are up and down like a yo-yo and despite wanting to fulfill my August goal I’m more absorbed in keeping up with guidance updates and emails from work and finally having what I hope is my actual timetable.

Thinking I might take a few days off the scales and extend the deadline of my August goal.

Not going to overeat or anything. Just give myself some leeway.

We had a movie night tonight with Pringles and chocolate. The children had sweets too. Last movie night of the holidays so I got lots of treats. I ate lots of Pringles and dip but not much chocolate. I just don't seem to enjoy it anymore very much. I stocks in my throat. I have a headache and a bad gut again. It doesn't seem to tolerate much chocolate and more than a small packet of crisps. I feel queasy and horrible. I don't normally like Pringles and rarely buy them but the dc love them. Maybe I needed salt 🤷🏼‍♀️I'll be asleep early after our early start to buy uniform today. Pretty sure I have everything they need now. I'm so anxious about them going back but looking forward to some time to myself. It's been a tough 6 months.

IDontMindMarmite that sounds delicious. I did a roast on Friday night but it was pretty boring. No oil on the potatoes, roast beef but no Yorkshire. Haven't had dauphinoise potatoes in such a long time. I am salivating.

It's a chilly day here, I've had to put socks on. Yesterday I wore jeans I haven't worn in months as they are full length and they did up very easily indeed and even had a little bagginess to them.
I'm planning on restarting being extra good tomorrow as it's the start of the school term and also the first of September. I haven't been logging food properly this week so that's something I need to do again.
I have a jar of marmite that I got for adding flavour to soup. I wonder if dc will like it...

I have also managed to conquer another pair of waist 28 jeans today, they are tight tho! Grin
B: berries and yoghurt and coffee
L: homemade soda bread with turkey, mayo and rocket
D: lamb tagine with chickpeas and broccoli feta tomato salad, yum.
I'm hitting 9st this week, or else!!
