Hi, here is a new thread, Excuse the ultra unoriginal title. Weighed in at 9st0.5, this morning, aim (as it has been for every month since March) is to get under 9st. Cannot believe we are in the second half of this year.

Not unless you've got an empty cupboard you want to fill, or loads of work surface space. They are massive.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 30/07/2020 19:25

Hiya,
I've gone to 1700 today
B. Toast with pb &j, coffee
L. Turkey salad sandwich, chopped carrot
D. Chicken tacos
S. Nakd bar, apple, calipo, coffee

Heygirlheyboy · 30/07/2020 21:03

No idea what I'm up to as I should have filled a definitely plate at party but instead ate at least 6 cocktail sausages, 4 rice krispie buns and 5 top hats plus a packet of haribo. I'm secretly 5 Blush but I will aim to tot it up. I'm going to have to go for a late walk around neighbourhood as I won't be able to go out for another while. I'm a bit snookered tomorrow time wise also so will see what I can do.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 30/07/2020 21:46

I'm a sucker for a kitchen device though. We actually do use our vacuum sealer Grin

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 30/07/2020 21:55

My friend has an air fryer and is very keen on it. It's still new though!

TheHoneyBadger · 30/07/2020 22:15

I’ve looked at them before and then had a stern word with myself about how often it would actually come out of the cupboard.

I’ve had a day of trying to sort out ds being the official beneficiary of death benefit and my pension in case covid kills me in school September lol. Made the mistake of telling him how much he’d get as a cash pay out so if I stop posting he’s killed me off.

It’s distracted me so much I haven’t eaten. Going to make some soup I think.

Last weigh in of July tomorrow!

Hangoverstruggles · 30/07/2020 22:31

Just looked back to my goal for July. I wanted to end the month at 10st. I'm there or there about....have gone 2lb below that target and 2lb over but hovering around. Pleased that I've maintained given this month we've had a weekend away and lots of socialising. Will weigh tomorrow for an official log on MFP.

Also wanted to build up to doing a press up and I can now do 3 proper ones in a row

All in all happy with the month.

Today started well, ended less so.

B oats, berries
L flat bread with chick pea filling
D chicken, new potatoes, loads of allotment veg, gravy
S (all after dinner) mini marshmallows, 4 squares of choc, Bourbon biscuit, a few nuts. Wasn't even hungry, just tired after a hot beach day and couldn't resist the sugar!

No exercise, brief swim in the sea, day on the beach with the kids.

@Heygirlheyboy sounds like a great tea!

everycowandagain · 31/07/2020 07:54

Nice work on the press ups@Hangover ,very impressive!!

I started the month at 133.6lbs with a goal of 130lbs and today I hit a new low of 128.6lbs. I cut my daily calorie target a bit and reined in the weekend excess, plus we cut out almost all of the weekend evening drinking and I am really chuffed with the result. Although it's been a slog, not going to lie!

Thanks for the chat and support, much appreciated. I am off tomorrow for 2 weeks of cheese and wine and then I will be back to do it all over again.

everycowandagain · 31/07/2020 07:55

*weekday evening drinking that should be. Definitely still did some weekend G&Ts!!

MonsteraCheeseplant · 31/07/2020 07:58

Good morning campers. I have successfully maintained this month which is marvellous given the increase in socialising.

Goals for next month to maintain again and increase my calories. I'm thinking of budgeting 1500 on weekdays to allow me to relax more at the weekends. Maybe this will be permanent, i'm not sure. I know though, that I am happy with my breakfast, lunch and dinner pattern and already have room for a 4pm biscuit and after dinner dessert so increasing my calorie much more will just mean more biscuits and dessert which isn't healthy and then I risk going over on weekends.

TheHoundsofLove · 31/07/2020 07:59

Well done Hangover and every ! And enjoy your holiday every .

Octopus37 · 31/07/2020 08:22

Well done Hangover. 9sst0.25 this morning, think I'm just a bit dehydrated though. Quite pleased overall as I haven't felt my best this month.

Ended up making myself a lovely plate of avocado, halloumi and gherkin with garlic crackers late last night.

Surprisingly a new low this morning of 14st2.8 though there may be an upswing of course.

In theory though I’ve lost half a stone this month which is great because June was a bit sluggish.

Will think about my goals for the next thread.

Well done every and enjoy your holiday. Well done on maintenance monster and octopus Brew

Heygirlheyboy · 31/07/2020 09:31

Wow half a stone is amazing! Star And well done to everyone, seems to have been a good month all round. Delighted to be back on track with you all.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 31/07/2020 10:32

My weigh day is Monday but sneaking on the scales this morning has me up a pound. Hmm going to be extra virtuous this weekend but also bear in mind that it's hot and that usually makes me a bit swollen. Keep on keeping on and not quit in a rage.

B salmon and eggs
L mackerel salad
D roast sweet potatoes with guacamole and pulled pork. (will add tortilla chips and salsa to DHs portion and the kids.)

TheHoneyBadger · 31/07/2020 12:43

Here’s my last 3 months to illustrate my crazy fluctuations. Light blue is actual weigh ins dark blue is the trend:

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 31/07/2020 15:11

It's been a maintain for me this month too. Not bad considering. I will try to loose in August though!

TheHoneyBadger · 31/07/2020 19:18

Counterproductive to say the least but I’ve just had a lovely/disgusting cheeseburger and chip shop chips to celebrate July weight loss 🤦‍♀️

Calorie window is now firmly closed so a good long fasting window should be easy.

AF due in 10 days. In the last few days I’ve had very low energy and just gone with it being pretty inactive but having small relatively sensible eating windows.

Think I will stick with that but would like to manage one extended fast next week as I did one at that part of my cycle last time with good results.

Hope everyone has had a good day. It’s been roasting and super humid here.

Hangoverstruggles · 31/07/2020 19:49

Well done @everycowandagain that's amazing! And huge well done to all the maintainers!

@TheHoneyBadger wow that graph is so impressive! Cracking month for you.

After the bean sprout chat I had this for tea. Under 400 cals. Huge portion of chicken, cooked with bean sprouts, veggies, ginger & garlic and a sauce/broth made of veggie stock, soy sauce and a tsp of corn flour. Added chilli flakes and a blob of sweet chilli sauce. High protein & filling.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 31/07/2020 21:42

Looks delicious @Hangoverstruggles. I'm planning to follow a recipe I found that requires Oyster sauce but so far it's not in Sainsbury's, M&S or Lidl. Couldn't be arsed to go to any other stores today.

B: Yoghurt, toast and honey
L: Lamb soup
D: Macaroni and cauliflower cheese
S: Mars Ice cream, ferrero brownie, a couple of pieces of kinder bueno

That looks lovely hangover! I’m wide awake with the munchies. Trying to resist going down to the kitchen

MonsteraCheeseplant · 01/08/2020 10:58

Here's the new thread for the new month

KatherineParr4 · 03/08/2020 09:04

I’ve done well for the first three weeks, but hit a wall suddenly. Bored of it all, hungry and demotivated. Please get me back on track!

Heygirlheyboy · 03/08/2020 09:15

I was the same, join us on new thread linked above your post!

RaraRachael · 03/08/2020 10:43

No loss again this week - 3rd week in a row - Stuck on 11 stone 6 despite doing exercises and counting calories.

Am at a loss as I've tried every recommendation, but makes no difference.
