Hi, here is a new thread, Excuse the ultra unoriginal title. Weighed in at 9st0.5, this morning, aim (as it has been for every month since March) is to get under 9st. Cannot believe we are in the second half of this year.

Syncing is useful as you can compare steps and cals week on week and look back to months ago etc.

KatherineParr4 · 20/07/2020 09:12

Thank you @HoneysuckIejasmine and @Heygirlheyboy. Did you get them from
Amazon?

Heygirlheyboy · 20/07/2020 09:14

No got mine in Curry's. I like to speak to people, I felt very clueless! Grin

HoneysuckIejasmine · 20/07/2020 09:22

My sister gave it to me when she upgraded to a charge 3, which is waterproof.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 20/07/2020 11:46

Well done @isadorapolly and @HoneysuckIejasmine on your losses!

I'm not hungry today, so hoping to have a lowish calorie day.

TheHoneyBadger · 20/07/2020 11:56

Honey you said you were 4 stone heavier than iggle and I thought she said she was 13stone- hence me thinking 17! You’re about the same weight as me then.

Iggle we’re going to Filey at the weekend and like you I don’t care if it’s raining I will be getting in the sea! It’s been too long and I need it.

I have a charge 3 and I set my main goal as burning 2100 calories because I felt my metabolism was sluggish and wanted to focus on that. It also allows me to realise what small changes make a difference. I’m all about small changes and not likely to be running anywhere soon which is probably for the best given my weight and wanting my knees to last a lifetime

TheHoneyBadger · 20/07/2020 11:58

Meant to say my weight is still the same despite a few very sluggish days not feeling well and not eating great. This feels like a good thing as in that must be genuine weight loss this month given it hasn’t just bounced back on after a bad day.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 20/07/2020 12:29

Oh yeah sorry for confusion. I meant the posters that are around the 10 stone mark. I could have been clearer there!

That's a really good idea to target a specific calorie burn.

TheHoneyBadger · 20/07/2020 12:36

I don’t count calories so it isn’t connected to what I eat it’s just a measure (not sure how accurate) of how different activity levels impact my metabolic rate. On days where I do several hurried walks (not long walks) I can be several hundred over that goal and on sluggish days under. What seems to really make a difference with low effort is to spend less time stationary. I like the reminders to move each hour on Fitbit.

TheHoneyBadger · 20/07/2020 16:58

I have just broken my fast with a fresh jam donut and it was delicious 😋

One was enough and filling though. I don’t seem to be getting binge like urges recently so that’s good progress.

Ideally I’d like to lose another couple of pounds this month which would be about 8lbs for July. I don’t really know what changed this month but it has been way easier to lose and maintain losses than it was last month Confused hope I haven’t jinxed it now

Hangoverstruggles · 20/07/2020 18:30

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all feeling good!
I started Saturday at 9st12 and did a HIIT class. I then ate for pretty much the entire weekend 😬

10st2 this morning but will see where it settles. Period also due this week so might just need to do some damage limitation and not worry too much.

Saturday was sandwiches, crisps, wine and Indian takeaway.

Sunday was pastries & coffee for breakfast, Sunday roast & fruit salad, chocolate cake, cheese & biscuits, loads of wine... prob close to 3000 cals!

Before starting dieting I think I would have eaten like this most weekends!

Hangoverstruggles · 20/07/2020 18:32

Today....

B banana, yogurt, coffees
L jacket potato & beans
D rice cakes & peanut butter and some sliced chicken, small piece of cake, couple of spoons of kids curry to try.

Weird day, around 1400.

Heygirlheyboy · 20/07/2020 18:59

Hope all having a good day.

I seem to have been v hungry early on possibly because of high activity yesterday.
B: berries and natural yoghurt, skinny latte
L: omelette, tomatoes and cheese

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 20/07/2020 19:28

L. Hummous &roast veg sandwich, apple
D. Pasta, tom sauce, roast veg
S. Nectarine, ice lolly, bit of halo top

I'm at about 10,000 steps. May take kids out in a bit for more of a walk.

SnowyMouse · 20/07/2020 20:02

L: tomato soup

TheHoneyBadger · 20/07/2020 20:48

Everyone’s day sounds good. Hangover your weekend sounds delicious. Remember that ted talk and yes just go with damage limitation till af I reckon.

So far just donut. Not fasting because donut but not hungry either. Not sure what to do as in make myself eat something nutritious or just roll with it as a weird one donut day Confused

I ate plenty in the last few days so leaning towards just leaving it and eating well tomorrow.

Octopus37 · 20/07/2020 20:52

Heygirlheyboy · 20/07/2020 22:19

Oh yes monster a lot of veg can really do that.

I redeemed by dessert overload with 18k steps Smile cal burn of 2356 so maybe 2450 by midnight.

I love this thread!

Heygirlheyboy · 21/07/2020 08:46

Still 9,6.75 6 days after 9,6 with a deficit everyday often well over 500...any ideas what's going on or what I can do? I do feel I'm 'holding on' to the food I'm eating I'd that makes sense, I feel heavy after eating and it doesn't seem to go away.
B: ONO with all the trimmings
L: ratatouille with broccoli and feta salad
D: roast chicken and roast potatoes and veg
S: fruit

TheHoneyBadger · 21/07/2020 09:10

Can only suggest skipping breakfast and having a late lunch for a day to give digestive system a rest and get a bit of a boost from a mini fast.

Weight at its lowest of 14st4.2 again. Ended up eating some prawns and some chocolate last night. Must get some proper nutrition in today. Think the low level lurgy I had for a few days has passed.

May make a stew in the slow cooker to ensure I get a good veg boost.

Heygirlheyboy · 21/07/2020 09:39

Great Honeybadger.

I have a fast of maybe 14h from dinner to breakfast... But I will up fluids today and see if that helps. Frustrating having had a hard week personally but doing really well food, sleep and exercise wise..
