Hi, here is a new thread, Excuse the ultra unoriginal title. Weighed in at 9st0.5, this morning, aim (as it has been for every month since March) is to get under 9st. Cannot believe we are in the second half of this year.

Morning. Well done on the losses everyone!

Snowy congrats on the toothpaste. I love breaking through a stone barrier. Very satisfying.

B mushroom omelette
L halloumi salad, mackerel, rice cakes
D chicken and lentil stew, bread roll

HoneysuckIejasmine · 17/07/2020 12:34

Erm, congratulations on the dentist trip, rather than specifically the toothpaste, I mean.

SnowyMouse · 17/07/2020 12:36

I like breaking through a stone barrier too!

Your food sounds tasty @HoneysuckIejasmine!

HoneysuckIejasmine · 17/07/2020 13:59

Ha, thanks. I try to keep it attractive as it's got to be so low calorie. I would lose the will to go on otherwise.

Hangoverstruggles · 17/07/2020 14:06

Hi! The 9st13 stuck which was very satisfying to log. 17lb in total, 88 days of tracking on My Fitness Pal with a few weeks off here & there

Expecting to gain this weekend, then period due and away the next weekend but pleased to be at a good low to allow for the extra treats. I'm expecting to gain a few lbs by the end of the month but will have a strict week before a holiday in August!

Well done @Badger, @Iggle and @snowy on your losses! Hope I didn't miss anyone?

SnowyMouse · 17/07/2020 17:50

Well I've had a similar day to previously:
B: porridge
L: porridge
S: duck gyoza
T: mango
S: brie
comes to about 1000 kcal

MonsteraCheeseplant · 17/07/2020 19:06

Congratulations to all the lovely losers on the thread, you're doing really well.

I have booked to visit 8 kittens at the weekend but just had a cry so my feelings are mixed.

B: Yoghurt and toast
L: Chicken stew
D: Greek yoghurt pizza
S: cake, did you know you can buy bags of individual kinder bueno pieces? 30 cals each.

Hangoverstruggles · 17/07/2020 20:00

Hi @MonsteraCheeseplant it will be really emotional. Kittens will be a lovely distractions but guess will bring back memories 😔
How are finding this stage of dieting? Are you still wanting to lose? Did you end up buying the new work clothes? I need new bras, definitely gone down a cup size. And jeans! Great but expensive!

SnowyMouse · 17/07/2020 20:00

Oh hugs @MonsteraCheeseplant Sad

MonsteraCheeseplant · 17/07/2020 21:26

Thanks, DH and I just went for a walk and i'm feeling better.

@Hangoverstruggles i'm trying to maintain now. So far i'm the same weight as I started the month, though I have fluctuated up 2lbs and down 1lb during that time. I'm ever so slowly increasing my calories although this month will have more cake and birthday meals for DH's milestone than usual so i'm being more careful. I had to buy work trousers but I need to adjust the length, I can't be doing with trawling round loads of shops and Gap had some good quality ones that just need the hem letting down. Congratulations on shrinking out of your clothes! I have too, now not much fits to be honest! I donated 9 pairs of jeans to charity i still have 10 pairs left. I could do with shopping but also CBA. Effort.

Heygirlheyboy · 17/07/2020 22:28

Monster.... Bags of bueno you say? Is there a safeguard against eating the whole bag?!

B: 2 scrambled egg
L: Bread roll with spinach, cheese and chicken
D: Thai green chicken w/half takeaway rice
S: skinny latte, mandarin
1200
10k steps

MonsteraCheeseplant · 18/07/2020 06:49

Sadly not! For me though, the fact that it's an expensive way of eating them so if I wanted a bar, I should just buy one.

TheHoundsofLove · 18/07/2020 08:25

Good morning!
I hope you enjoy going to 'look' at the kittens Monstera . Smile
I'm back down to 9st8 this morning, so back on track and heading in the right direction again.
Shrinking out of clothes is the best feeling ever isn't it?! I had a bit of a sort out yesterday - I fit into almost all of my old clothes now, but am being ruthless and getting rid of anything that I don't love or that isn't flattering.

Heygirlheyboy · 18/07/2020 09:17

Wow hounds well done!

I'm 9,7 today tho 9,6 two days ago and ate around 2700 between the two days complete with steps etc. Who knows. Off for my walk now and will remember JS words: take your time, shut up and be patient Grin

TheHoundsofLove · 18/07/2020 09:27

That definitely needs to be our thread mantra! Grin

TheHoneyBadger · 18/07/2020 14:11

Morning. Saying morning because I only recently woke up after sleeping for 13 hours! Weird. I felt tired and a bit grotty yesterday and caved to ds saying we hadn’t had takeaway for ages.

Ate lots of chicken wings and strips and curly fries that I expected to pay heavily for but my weight is down Confused 14st4.2 which is my lowest weight but maybe it will bounce up tomorrow in delayed reaction?

Long fasting window should be easy seeing as I’m already at over 16 hours.

I feel like one of those snakes that eats a massive animal then hibernates.

Hope you find a kitten that you know is meant for you monster x

HoneysuckIejasmine · 18/07/2020 15:44

Hiya,

B bacon sandwich
L mackerel salad
D red pepper and sweet potato bake - it's got pineapple and chilli in, Carribbean inspired.

Done some embroidery this morning hiding from the kids. Now to mow lawn and sort out DD's outgrown clothes to pass on.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 18/07/2020 17:11

Hidey hi,
I've had period pains and fatigue today which combined with the shittest week ever means that we're having take away tonight Grin Bao buns that i've been thinking about all week. I'm excited. I hope i'm generously guesstimating the calories accurately enough but what can you do.

B: Toast, honey, yoghurt
L: Garlic prawns and mushrooms on ciabatta bread
D: Chicken, Pork and Beef Bao buns.
S: Cake
I weighed in this morning at 9.12 which is my lightest and i'm trying to maintain around this weight.

Octopus37 · 18/07/2020 19:18

Enjoy your takeaway Monstera, you deserve it. Massive well done on your weight loss as well. Not too bad a day here (but not amazing either.
Cereal bar
Waitrose apple Damish
Thai sweet chilli sensations (probably too many)
A few more crisps whilst making dinner
Potatos (cooked with a bit of olive oil), carrots and a Chicken chargrill
Muller cormer

Weighed 9st0.75 this morning. 9380 steps today, but just off to walk the dog. This might be the week where I get in the zone again

Heygirlheyboy · 18/07/2020 19:27

This is the week octopus!

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 18/07/2020 19:38

Well done hounds!
I over ate yesterday, went to the pub unexpectedly and could resist having a pint and a vegan burger and chips. Back on it today and also thinking a fast day might be a good idea at some point this week, as I'm going 'on holiday' over the weekend which will involve a lot of fish and chips and less control over food in general.
Today's food
B. Skyr yogurt and nuts, coffee
L. Spanakopita, sugar snap peas
D. Beef and roast aubergine fajitas
S. Halo top & a proper chocolate ice cream
Total I think about 1600, but I'm estimating the proper ice-cream

Heygirlheyboy · 18/07/2020 20:13

Iggle your food always sounds amazing!
B: porridge
L: 2 scrambled eggs with tomatoes and spinach
D: carbonara, 80g cooked pasta, bacon, peas, cream and cheese
S: banana, cashews, skinny latte
1236 under allowance but will leave it and go higher tomorrow as per JS.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 19/07/2020 10:08

Morning all!
I'm wavering - send will power!! Had toast and marmalade for breakfast and must now stop and be sensible.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 19/07/2020 10:09

MFP has already given me a warning about fat consumption, lol

TheHoundsofLove · 19/07/2020 11:00

Be strong Iggle - distract yourself!
I always eat the full-fat, non-diet version of things so MFP warns me all the time - I just ignore it! Grin
