I’ve just downloaded the nutra check app and plan to lose 2 stone by autumn.

Anyone need to lose a couple too?

Any advise please? I’ve never been so fat in my life Sad

OctFeb - erm. You are ignoring those of us around the same weight as you? I’m 5’2” and my starting weight a week ago was 13.11.
Anyhoo - good job moon! Well done!
I am 3 pounds down exactly Grin so I’m happily taking that.
Need to figure out a new exercise challenge too. We just did a virtual Lands End to John o Groats which was fun. We have a very simple exercise bike (newly purchased) and an elliptical we have had for a year. (It’s bloody cold here for six months of the year and we also have bears when it isn’t, lol, so my days of popping outside to go for a long run are on hold until my bravery levels pick up). I fancy a really long challenge to take to Christmas - I fear the weight loss might take that long anyway!! Ideas?

DH has changed the scales to kg, so I might not bother weighing myself...

But I’ve walked loads this week, and I’ve cycled to work and back, in the rain, wearing my new waterproof poncho Grin.

I will be having salt and chilli tofu from the Chinese tonight, but no alcohol because I reckon that’s what makes me look bloated.

I've not been very active this week and don't think I've lost any weight. I've eaten ok and haven't had any alcohol so we shall see what happens on Monday.

Btw I'm also a shortie. 5 4. Started at 14st 7 and currently at 12st but slowly losing the motivation. Would like to get to 10st 7 but I know it will be hard!

I had a nap for two hours this afternoon. Does mean I wasn’t snacking Grin

Have just cut myself half a slice of chocolate cake having decided the calories in a whole slice weren’t worth it.

Have done lots of steps again today. Still no workouts though- need to work on that one

I thought I had had my period i.e. brown spotting 4 days ago. Ye but no but, period started in earnest today, so I'm in pain. Explains the lethargy I guess.
I've just had an argument with my usually very quiet upstairs neighbour.

I've been good today, instead of going for a nap, I mopped the floors to keep myself awake. Went for my walk. Didn't do any abs workout as frankly was zonked (feeling zonked for days now). Haven't overdone it on the eating, but with great intentions I took a salmon fillet out of the freezer at 8am which I presumably have to cook now before it spoils.

All in all, I think I'm good (fingers crossed) for another 0.1 kilo loss tomorrow. Although, my tummy is bloated like a blowfish again, so maybe not.

Last night I ate a massive Chinese meal, two large portions of lemon meringue pie with cream, one large bar of whole nut, four beers and two glasses of wine. Not forgetting the banana I had for breakfast and sandwich for lunch.

I've got belly ache this morning and the scales say two pounds up since Friday weigh in. Confused

@MoonBaby1 to be honest I could have lived with the Chinese and alcohol, it's all the sweet stuff that was in extreme excess. I'm back on it today.

@isthatthesummerover how are things today, are you back on the plan? I've been ok so far, feeling really annoyed that I ate so much last night.

I'm going to walk the dogs soon, I really don't want to as I'm feeling lazy and just want to sit on the sofa.

I think we all fall off the wagon every now and then - if we didn't we wouldn't be overweight in the first place!
Don't be too hard on yourself though. What is done is done, start again today.

I feel so drained and lazy, have barely moved. Dd wanted pancakes for breakfast which I managed to resist but all I want to do is sit on the sofa and eat. Not good when tomorrow is weigh in day.

@Dulcedelecherocks you can sit on the sofa but don't eat badly the day before weigh day. You will be really miserable tomorrow if you eat loads today.

Thank you Seven. I know you're right. So far I've not eaten any of the wrong things, I've just eaten more than I would normally do. Keto 90 second bread with cheese and salami, olives, pork scratchings and coconut milkshake with dark chocolate. So all keto (which is what I normally do) but way more than I eat on an average day.

Planning to make keto meatballs with Aldi soy bean pasta for dinner so hopefully I'll manage to stay below 20g carbs or thereabouts.

How's your and everyone's Sunday going?

After last nights eating extravaganza, all I want to do today is eat. I feel starving. I had a salad sandwich for lunch, I keep going into the kitchen and looking lovingly in the fridge! My brain keeps telling me to stuff my face and start again tomorrow but I know tomorrow will never come. I worked really hard to lose some weight last week so I really want to stick with it.

Hi everyone. I had an awful night, I stupidly drank too many generously filled gins on an empty stomach at my friends, as she didn’t want Thai food. I’ll spare you the details, let’s just I ended up really drunk, and I felt awful, still feel awful and never want to drink again!

I think weekends should be banned lol. Especially if you weigh on a Friday or a Saturday morning. It’s only logical that subconsciously you go ‘fuck it, I’ve got a whole week to be strict until next weigh, so it won’t really matter if I relax a bit (and eat for England) today...’

I didn’t do too badly yesterday except for cold pizza for breakfast 😂 other than that I stuck to the rules, no bread/ wheat, dairy, (except in tea), potatoes, alcohol. After the pizza (!) I sat and meal-planned the next four days so that dh and bevy of teenage children couldn’t derail... and made carrot and ginger soup for lunch.
I’m trialling delivery services again so a farm box is being delivered today (I live in a Canadian backwater with no supermarket delivery service - god I miss Ocado, Sainsburys and Tesco). I figure if someone brings me produce and I don’t have to mask up and brave the store, and I meal plan, then there’s less chance of the pizza/ Chinese/ Thai carry out happening. Yes I live in a small town where you can get any take out meal delivered, but no groceries (except the farm box that ironically comes from the city an hour away). Welcome to North America 🤷‍♀️
Anyhoo, it made me clean the fridge ready for the veg 😬

It’s our wedding anniversary- all food and drink bets are off! I’m down another 2 pound today so at least I have some wriggle room!!

Good morning everyone!

I knew the weekend would be tough so I upped my calorie intake from 1200 a day to 1500 on Saturday and Sunday. I managed to limit myself to x3 g&t's, a handful of peanut m & m's and a caramel bar. No exercise this weekend other than my usual dog walks.

Monday is my weigh-in day and I'm down 2.4lbs. Pleased with that. I feel less bloated and less sluggish and don't feel like I starved myself (much) at all.

I've been up and out for a run this morning and no food until 10am. Back to 1200 calories and 16:8 and plenty of exercise this week. Ideally I'd like to lose another 2lbs by next weigh-in.

For all those who fell off the wagon, don't beat yourself up. Eating crap for one day a week is better than eating like that every day of the week. Today is a new day, pull your big girl pants up and start again. We can do this!
