Help!!! I’m only 5,2 and weight 11st 2lb Shock

@littleninja

Forgot to say I'm barely 5ft so definitely a shortie!

@MoonBaby1 thanks for the welcome. I reward myself with food and comfort eat to make myself feel better.

@lyricallie your plan sounds very severe to me. I wouldn't be able to stick to that for very long at all as I would feel like I am depriving myself. I'm sure your upcoming wedding is a great motivator though!

I'm giving intermittent fasting a go. 16:8. Just had yoghurt and fruit with chia seeds for breakfast. It will be salad for lunch and a vegetable curry (minus naan bread) for tea.

I tend to need a mid afternoon sugar hit and snack in the evenings. These are the times I will really need willpower.

Love your reward chart @flippinfurloughed! I might have to make one too!

Ha wedding definitely helps. Also I didn't know if I could stick to it until I tried. If anything I feel like it's easier because I don't have anything for 2 days a week but I can be less strict the other days.

I feel like 18:6 was essentially my normal eating and I could definitely pack a good amount in during 6 hours feeding time haha.

How did everyone do yesterday? Stick to any goals or plans?

FairNotFair · 30/06/2020 08:30

Following with interest … I'm 5ft 4, 12st 13 … started online WeightWatchers yesterday!

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 08:36

@Lyricallie hi
Yip sticking to my plan 100%
Next goal is starting some exercise that won't leave me starving or needing oxygen
Today is a new day ... we can do it !

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 08:38

Hi @FairNotFair I did WW many years ago , loved it
Had a look a couple of weeks ago and was totally confused by the plan Smile
Good luck for a good day

sevendevils · 30/06/2020 09:09

Morning all, I hope that everyone is ok.

Today is the day that I start drinking water, lots of water. I won't be able to leave the house as I will wet myself. I will be getting lots of steps in visiting the loo every 15 minutes.

Good luck today, be good.

littleninja · 30/06/2020 09:20

@Feckmesideways

Is anyone up for joining me in starting Chloe tings 2 week ab workout on YouTube? Apparently lots of people have had good results. I’m going to start it tomorrow.
That's the one I started yesterday so I'm in!
littleninja · 30/06/2020 09:25

@Polkadotpjs

I do exactly the same, if I see no difference on the scales I just think 'f*ck it' and eat a whole pack of biscuits in one sitting!

I have done Joe Wicks but I hate burpees 😩 I started the Chloe Ting 2 week shred on YouTube yesterday so will see how that goes (there were still burpees though!) I get bored easily so will likely mix it up a bit.

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 09:59

Morning all @littleninja
@Polkadotpjs ... I think that's what most of us do ... or shall we say used to do ....
As we are now all shrinking goddesses of shortieness
Morning @sevendevils ... hope you stockpiled back in March Smile

sevendevils · 30/06/2020 10:06

@Jannyapple66 I bought a nine pack yesterday. I'm well prepared. 😃

hopeidontforgetthisusername · 30/06/2020 10:19

Thanks @Jannyapple66 glad to be on board with you all :)

Polkadotpjs · 30/06/2020 12:44

2lb on today but I KNOW I didn't massively eat yesterday so I'm just shrugging and moving on. Will give theChloe thing a go tonight if I don't do my usual Pilates

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 12:58

@Polkadotpjs don't let it put you off
There are so many things that can affect weight from day to day
Your motivated that's all that matters
Keep going girl Smile

Definitely! What kind of exercise you thinking about doing?

I have my zoom class tonight which I've skipped the past 3 classes so I really need to do it!

Feckmesideways · 30/06/2020 13:20

@littleninja I did the Chloe Ting abs work out on lunch there, I swear I’ve used muscles I didn’t know existed! Those up and down planks are a killer!

2020in2020 · 30/06/2020 13:24

Hello,

I’m 5”1 and 11st4lb Blush started SW last week and Zumba Zoom classes. Never been this big before.

DulciUke · 30/06/2020 13:51

I'm up a pound Sad, but I'm putting that down to eating very late last night. Hoping to be down a bit by Friday.

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 14:03

@Lyricallie I really don't know what to do
I'm doing a VLCD so don't have too much energy for anything apart from work

Lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 30/06/2020 14:41

Hi
@moonbaby I could have written your post. I'm 5ft2 and weighed in at exactly 11 stone this morning. My ideal like you is 9 but right now I'd take anything with a 9 in front of it. I have been about 2 stone over where I want to be for the last 3 years after a r'ship breakdown, antidepressants and all of the wine that goes with it! Wine is definitely a big part of it for me so my first step is to try and curb the nightly wine. It's really nice to see a thread with a group of people who are all similar heights!

KarrieKay · 30/06/2020 17:07

I’ve kept to my calories on mfp and done pilates today. Tomorrow is my weigh in day. Apart from going a little bit off plan on Sunday and having red wine with my dinner not doing too bad!

Lyricallie · 30/06/2020 17:37

I feel you. I had a fasting day yesterday so I skipped the gym class and just went for a leisurely walk around a forest which was nice an distracted me from being hungry.

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 18:04

@Lyricallie I think I'm going to wait until I end this and start just eating healthily
I don't think it wise to try any more on such low calories , so maybe another 2 weeks if I can stand it lol
How are you doing your IF ? I'd like to know more as it's probably the only thing I've never tried
@sevendevils
Are you still on the loo ?

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 18:05

Good luck for weigh tomorrow @KarrieKay Smile we all rooting for you

Dulcedelecherocks · 30/06/2020 18:51

Janny - IF can be a daily thing so for example 16-8 (no food for 16 hrs and food during an 8 hour window), or 18-6, 20-4 or even 23-1. Easiest way to start in my opinion is to have an early dinner with no evening snacks and then skip breakfast so you'll naturally fast from say 7pm to 12pm which is already 17 hours.
The other way to do it is 5:2 so 5 days of normal eating and 2 fasting days with 500 cal each. I've never tried it so don't know any more about it.

I've eaten well today and stayed under 10g of carbs (my max is 20). My evenings are my worse time though.

I also exercise when fasting as I've read it increases the fat burn. I've done an online class for the first time today called ripped, followed by some core reps and sit ups. I felt good but have been knackered for the rest of the day!

sevendevils · 30/06/2020 19:02

@Jannyapple66 yes, I've spent the whole day in the loo. I'm in there now!

Jannyapple66 · 30/06/2020 19:12

Thank you @Dulcedelecherocks
Are you doing this and are you losing weight ? I think I could manage this as I like my dinner early anyway and thankfully am not an evening picker , just an emotional picker binger
Usually in bed for 9 ( or I was before I found MN )
@sevendevils that's my girl lol ... have you felt fuller ? I've done 3.5L and definetly feel full
