I genuinely believe that significantly increasing good fluid levels could be enough to encourage weight loss
You are never that hungry, feel constantly full
What a cheap diet could that be !!!!

sevendevils · 29/06/2020 21:01

@Jannyapple66 ok I'm going to start with the water tomorrow. I bought a nine pack of loo roll today so I will be sorted 🚽

Jannyapple66 · 29/06/2020 21:06

@sevendevils that's great
I'll be on it tomorrow too lol
Just want to say a big thank you to you especially and the other posters who have really helped me feel motivated to carry on
I know it's early days but I've not felt this positive in many years that I can do this
Thank you all

sevendevils · 29/06/2020 21:10

@Jannyapple66 I feel the same.

littleninja · 29/06/2020 21:13

I really need to drink more water too. Especially as I only had 1 cup of tea all day today. Will join you all tomorrow in peeing constantly!

sevendevils · 29/06/2020 21:24

Look forward to it @littleninja

Jannyapple66 · 29/06/2020 21:28

We need to rename this thread the shorties on the loo group Smile

MoonBaby1 · 29/06/2020 21:34

Welcome all the new shorties!

I’ll message mnhq and ask for a thread name change.

I found eating early with the children helped me tonight.
I usually snack and then eat during my time when they’re asleep. It’s another mindset in need to change.

@Jannyapple66 I know what you mean. I’m feeling the positivity. We can turn this around .

Wee wee Wednesday 😂

Feckmesideways · 29/06/2020 21:47

Is anyone up for joining me in starting Chloe tings 2 week ab workout on YouTube? Apparently lots of people have had good results. I’m going to start it tomorrow.

Polkadotpjs · 29/06/2020 21:48

@little ninja which YouTube exercise video please? I've been doing some Svelte ones but need more challenge but no time for much I was doing joe wickes but work is too busy now and I haven't time for 30 day shred. Doing yoga or Pilates most days too and feel thinner but the weight is oh so slow to move...
And I am round. So round. It's horrid. But we will get there. I'm loving Noom so far. It's much less judgey and also makes you weigh every day and explains how weight fluctuates so if you have a heavy day it doesn't spiral your thoughts to "fuck it I'm having chocolate now- what's the point?" I'm bad for that. I've a referral code if anyone wants it but I'm carrying it on anyway so it doesn't matter if not.

Feckmesideways · 29/06/2020 21:53

@Polkadotpjs if this helps, this is the one I am starting to do tomorrow. It’s roughly 10 mins long.

Angliski · 29/06/2020 21:58

Oh god. I am 5ft 1 and 15 stone - 5 months post partum. Terrified by the seven stone I need to lose. I am working with a trainer and am running 5 k twice a week but my best efforts get me to around 2k calories per day and I am just manintaing for the last two months. Miserable because I don’t feel I can get the discipline to do bsd fast 800 or low carb and I seem to just regain anyway. Help! I really need to lose so I can have another baby before I get well old ( currently 41)

Jannyapple66 · 29/06/2020 21:59

@sevendevils

Wee wee Wednesday 😂
Thirsty Thursday ? Fidgety Friday ? Satontheloo Saturday ?

So childish 🤣

Jannyapple66 · 29/06/2020 22:04

@Angliski congrats on the baby
Don't be afraid of that weight .. just get rid of it one stone at a time , wave bye bye
What works for you ... being strict? More relaxed ? A plan or just a general cutting down on portions or treats
Loads of ideas here
@Feckmesideways
That looks a bit hard core to me and her accent would drive me mad ( you should hear mine 🤦🏽‍♀️)

DontLookTwice · 29/06/2020 22:15

I’m in despair. I am the fattest I’ve ever been and I’m 5 foot 3. I lost 2 stones on low carb years ago. Also lost weight several times calorie counting.
I have done MFP for the past week but actually gained weight! I walk every day but I need to lose four stone. I hate myself at the moment, just can’t find a solution .I don’t eat crap. However obviously eating more than I need .

Feckmesideways · 29/06/2020 22:22

@Angliski congrats on your baby! Also it’s brilliant that you’re already proactive with your exercise. I am also jealous you can run. Last time I tried to run, I near gave myself a set of black eyes and that was with an industrial strength sports bra on.

@Jannyapple66 Grin I’m sure I’ll be barely able to move after that workout tomorrow!

Jannyapple66 · 29/06/2020 22:25

@Feckmesideways you know we are going to check on you !
1- to make sure you did it
2- to make sure you ok
3- mostly to make sure you did it

My exercise will be going the long way to the loo and back 100 times a day 🤣🤣🤣

Feckmesideways · 29/06/2020 22:27

Hi @DontLookTwice do you think you can portion control by using scales or a smaller plate etc? I found they help when I’m eating carbs. I’ve also tried to eat a lot more protein which I find has helps curb the hunger a bit, and also downing loads of water in between meals. Also filling up on low calorie items like strawberries, cucumber, watermelon helps.

Feckmesideways · 29/06/2020 22:33

@Jannyapple66 I will make a deal with myself, if I complete the workout every day, I can reward myself with one dark chocolate digestive afterwards! I will place it on a plate right in front of me for motivation! Grin

MoonBaby1 · 29/06/2020 22:55

@Angliski congratulations on your baby.
I think the first stone will be the easiest and the results will keep us motivated. I’m ever the optimist!!

Hello I’m 5 foot 4 and although I knew I’d put on weight I was in denial. Weighed myself last Wednesday and I was 80kg. Really not good.

I have a very sweet tooth and can easily get through a lot of sweets. Haven’t had any since last Wednesday and have been logging calories on MFP. Have restarted couch to 5k (was doing parkruns before lockdown but broke a bone in my ankle at the end of April which has got in the way). Also doing minimum 10,000 steps a day and aiming for at least 12,000.

Will see on Wednesday morning if this has had any effect.
