I’ve just downloaded the nutra check app and plan to lose 2 stone by autumn.

Anyone need to lose a couple too?

Any advise please? I’ve never been so fat in my life Sad

@Jannyapple66 ah one after eight mint is no issue for me. But open a bag of decent crisps, show me a crusty baguette or put a big bowl of popcorn in front of me and I won’t stop until they’re all gone Blush

Can I join in? I’m 5’6 and around 89kg definitely in the obese range. Weight came on gradually over the years but am determined to get something good out of this lock down thing and be down in the healthy BMI range by Christmas!
Things that have helped me is Huel for calorie control, lighter options for bread (kings mill crust less), crisps (pop chips) and chocolate (dark chocolate >70% cocoa). Haven’t found an alcohol alternative yet.
Also use fit bit and Renpho scales which are well worth it as they show you where your weight is on obesity scale and shows water content etc.

I weigh myself every Monday so anyone is welcome to join me.
Today I'm down to 11st 13lbs. Yippee. Finally under 12st. Planning to go and have my body fat checked tomorrow.
Down 2st 8, still at least 1st 6 to get to 10.5 st.
Did 1.5hr intense workout today and burned 890 cals so I'm feeling this can be my week. I tend to lose slowly which is a bit annoying but as long as it keeps going down I'm ok.
So far I've had some chicken with mayo and some cheese. Still on zero carbs for the day. But it's the evenings that tend to be my downfall. So we shall see.

If you start to struggle tonight do what @sevendevils and I did yesterday and pamper yourself
It took me a few hours of face mask hair mask leg shaving etc and I brushed my teeth and swigged till I couldn't taste my tongue- no way I wanted to pick after all that !

@Jannyapple66 I'm a big teeth brusher. My dad was a dentist so it was drummed into me from an early age. I've got to 53 and still have no fillings. I use a waterpik every day too, bloody love it.

My teeth are ok but I think I've got 4 fillings and a crown which I regret massively and was conned into lol
I do find if I brush or swill it changes the taste buds and I'm less likely to pick
My other tip is fruit or herbal tea never makes me want biscuit or cake .. coffee however ...
I only like the peppermint and a couple of fruit ones but it's handy if I'm being good

@Jannyapple66 I find that mouthwash leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and I don't fancy eating then. Also, kids strawberry toothpaste helps with my sugar cravings as it's so sweet.

I'd like to join. 5ft 4 and weighed myself on Friday in at 12st 11. Terrible! I've basically put on 2 stone in the 2 years since I got married. I started back with logging food on MFP today and have just gone slightly over my 1200 cals (by 66). Have also started to exercise again. I used to do a lot, hiit classes and running etc then got ankle injury and my gym closed and I promised myself I'd get back on track and find a new gym in the new year and then covid. I swear I have put on about 11 pounds in lockdown alone. Feeling positive. Need to squeeze in exercise and avoid snacks in the evening and late afternoon as that's my down fall!

I am 5"2 and have lost 1.5 stone so am not down to 11 stone 8lbs. Determined to keep going and get to 10 stone 7lbs as a mini goal then hopefully under 10 but the last time l was under 10 it was nearly impossible to maintain.

Peeing all day yes but I stop about 6 pm and try go last thing before bed
Your body does adjust to it and you need to pee less ... so I'm told lol

Day 1 and I'm proud of myself
I have gone 35 calories over my 1200 calories per day limit, but I did do an exercise class on you tube this morning, a 20 min dog walk this afternoon and yoga this evening.

Just been trying to plan my meals for tomorrow but thinking about food is making me hungry so I'm going to go to bed! The lounge is too close to the kitchen but if I get comfy in bed I won't want to get up again so that is my plan!

@Jannyapple66 l tried a drinking eight glasses of water day last week. Honestly, I was weeing every fifteen minutes and I couldn't leave the house. I'm going to make an effort with water tomorrow as I don't need to go out. 💦
