You’re not eating 800 every day surely?

HoneysuckIejasmine · 25/06/2020 19:09

How is that falling off the wagon? Shock did you forget to mention the 1kg of chocolate you also are?

Hangoverstruggles · 25/06/2020 19:45

@molifly14 both those days are only 500 -600 calories. Are you doing 5:2? Doesn't sound too healthy without context.

Today I've come in at 1200. Discovered protein yogurts from Lidl. 120 cals and so so filling. 20g of protein so keeps you full for longer.

B banana, plum, coffee (180)
L 2 boiled eggs, 2 toast and a kit Kat (470)
D veggie curry, 150g rice, protein yogurt (500)
S grapes

TheHoneyBadger · 25/06/2020 20:31

Ooh protein yoghurts are a good find! I’ve got Yeo valley natural yoghurt with kefir in the fridge. Not really a yoghurt fan but as you know I’m trying to improve the bacteria in my gut after surgery. May try adding some of my vanilla flavour protein powder.

Fortunately I’m too hot for food. Had a hearty portion of sausage stew (chipolata) this afternoon and I’m still stuffed.

I’m having a red vermouth and slimline tonic and then the kitchen is closed.

I had a 24 hour fast through to 2.3pm today but I’ve not been active today because it’s been over 30 degrees with no breeze today and I was melting.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 25/06/2020 20:48

It's been aggressively hot where I am today too Badger. I've managed my 1500
B. Beans and cheese on toast, pot of tea
L. 4 quorn eggs, one cheese string, ice lolly, 3 iced coffees, a nectarine (not really a lunch but more a selection of mid day snacks)
D. Mushroom spinach kiev, home made oven chips, salad with home made pickles, diet 7up.
I've done somewhere in the region of zero steps cos it's been boiling. Cooling down now so I might go for a wander.

Hangoverstruggles · 25/06/2020 23:23

Need to add another 120 to my day because I couldn't resist a mini magnum.... BlushGrin

Got late night hungry and craving salt. I had two rolls with halloumi, salami and gherkin.

And yet the scales are back to my lowest. Last time I saw it was the day after the Big Mac Confused

I’ve reported the sales spam already

MonsteraCheeseplant · 26/06/2020 07:34

Those sound like amazing sandwiches Badger!

I reported it too, god it was long!

I found Mars ice creams at the supermarket finally! 140 cals each, total bargain. Had one yesterday.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 26/06/2020 07:49

I had an Asda mini ice cream stick, like a naked magnum, salted caramel flavour. Really nice and 50 cals!

Octopus37 · 26/06/2020 08:26

Sounds as if everyone is doing well. 9st3.25 after a take away last night though. Weird though cause I did feel full quite quickly so didn't eat as much as I normally would. I'm not managing to eat very healthily at the moment for various reasons but I am eating less overall. Starting to wonder if I am supposed to be this weight but I dont want to give up. Agree about the ice cream Mars Bars.

everycowandagain · 26/06/2020 09:12

I am STILL stuck, I have been doing a pretty good job of sticking to my calories and definitely feel slimmer so I am confident I am doing the right things. AF arrived this morning (randomly!!) do that might be part of it. I am keeping on keeping on. Currently also too hot to eat!

HoneysuckIejasmine · 26/06/2020 13:37

B sausage omelette
L mackerel salad
D roasted broccoli and chickpea wraps
S (so far) fruit shortcake biscuit.

TheHoneyBadger · 26/06/2020 15:18

I had beer in my parents garden but then I walked home and am now dripping with sweat. Hopefully the two offset each other.

It is hot!

TheHoundsofLove · 26/06/2020 16:38

Hi everyone!
I'm a bit stuck weight-wise too (hovering around the 9 and a half stone mark). It's interesting about being pretty much guaranteed to put a couple of pounds back on in maintenance Monstera as I feel that's essentially where I've been at for the past 3 months. My measurements are still the same, my clothes don't feel any tighter and if anything I feel slimmer, even though I'm up from my 9st2 lowest weight. I absolutely refuse to believe that it's actual weight!
Tbh, I'm a bit torn between just staying at maintenance now and still wanting to get to the all elusive 8 stone something! My son is back at school normally now, so I've decided to really step it up a gear for the next 4 weeks (until the start of summer holidays) and then reassess. if I'm honest with myself, I'm probably only stuck have put on 5lbs because I've not been focused enough with my diet over the past few months.

Octopus37 · 26/06/2020 17:22

Hounds, I'm with you about whether to maintain or go for the elusive 8st something.

TheHoneyBadger · 26/06/2020 19:13

Well today turned into a day off. The beers in my dads garden turned into ordering pizza and fries and a coke. I never drink coke unless I’m trying to stave off a migraine usually.

It’s one day

Hangoverstruggles · 26/06/2020 21:31

@TheHoneyBadger it is just one day! Smile

I've had a weird eating day. Gone over what I planned but don't really mind!

B coffees, banana
L protein yogurt, chocolate brownie, cuppa
D overnight oats, berries (big bowl), Greek yogurt
S plum, breadsticks, whole tub of Lidl mint choc low cal ice cream Grin

I've basically snacked all day and not eaten a proper meal. Busy day at work so mostly nibbling at my desk.

Octopus37 · 27/06/2020 08:47

Honeybadger,it was one day, you deserve some fun. Ended up eating Dominos last night, 9st2.25 this morning. Have decided that I need to just concentrate on maintaining at the moment, lets face it, its all I have managed since March anyway. I may get in the zone properly and loose some more weight at some point with a bit of luck, just not in it at the moment. That said I'm still going to keep posting here and keep weighing cause if I stop, thats where it will all go wrong. Maybe its better to lose what I've lost and keep it off, rather than loose more and put it all back on with interest, which is what I have done previously. Happy Saturday all

TheHoundsofLove · 27/06/2020 09:28

HoneyBadger We all need a day off sometimes! although perhaps don't listen to me as I have far too many... Grin
Octopus Sounds like the right decision for you at the moment - you sound like you've had a stressful few months. By the way, are you feeling settled into your new house now?

HoneysuckIejasmine · 27/06/2020 11:06

Morning all. I'd love a dominos. Not had one since at least June 2017. not that I'm counting

B bacon sandwich
L mackerel salad
D jambalaya with chicken as the protein

Canklesforankles · 27/06/2020 11:53

Ok I’ve been awol. I was ecstatic over losing 8lbs between January and May. I was planning to maybe shift another 2lbs slowly.

But no. 1lb up and then yesterday another 2 Sad

So I’m back. Waiting until 12 to eat breakfast even though it’s a Saturday.

I know what’s happened. Just too many calories (of course!). Sweet stuff crept back in, hot chocolates. Jacket potatoe or cheese and potatoe pie in canteen (small portion with beans can’t hurt? Blush

I’m an nhs worker in the middle of this awful pandemic so it’s been really stressful. I’ve been so exhausted and eating for a quick energy boost.

I have a week off. I’m going to get back on my self care wagon

16:8
30 day yoga with Adrienne on YouTube
Longer dog walks

I’m trying to be super kind and not blame myself (much). We are all doing the best we can.

Love this supportive thread 💕

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 27/06/2020 12:00

Hi hounds, I had an unexpected day off yesterday too. Was good until some mates came round with drinks and as I'd not seen them since march I joined in and had a couple of g&ts and a curry too. Didn't go too mad, and I think worth it. Probably a maintenance week for me

TheHoneyBadger · 27/06/2020 12:06

Job cankles. I forgot about Adrienne on YouTube! She has some lovely classes.

I’ve just treated myself to some new scales that actually properly measure body composition and Bluetooth connect with phone and Fitbit app.

I don’t know if mine are reliable and the fluctuations might be less discouraging if I can see eg it’s water not fat. Plus I think spending money = commitment in my head.

I’ve allegedly put on 4lbs according to my scales Hmm Rationally I know three slices of pizza can’t do that but it’s still discouraging

TheHoneyBadger · 27/06/2020 12:07

Hi cankles! No idea where job came from
