@Hangoverstruggles, how do you see your weekly cals and daily averages? Is it a premium feature?

OP posts:
Heygirlheyboy · 19/06/2020 12:50

You can do that on Lose it also, free version.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 19/06/2020 12:53

That is useful @Hangoverstruggles
I went over to nearly 2000 calories yesterday so thought I'd try a fast today of 500 calories. The plan is:
B. Coffee
L. 2 egg ommlette
D. Salmon with peas
S. Coffee.
Not feeling too bad so far and on track for 10000 steps.

Hangoverstruggles · 19/06/2020 14:11

Possible premium because I have signed up.
It's in the menu, when you press more and select nutrition.

Looks like this. I've already added in my weekend plan as having a big Indian takeaway Sunday so wanted to account for it

Ah I see it! It's not a premium feature. Thank you that's good to know!

OP posts:
HoneysuckIejasmine · 19/06/2020 15:16

That's a very helpful feature, I've found. It promotes a sense of big picture, and not beating yourself up if one day goes badly. Just be flexible for the other days, it's all good.

L was mackerel salad
D is burger and sweet potato fries

TheHoneyBadger · 19/06/2020 15:57

Finding it super easy to have long fasting windows in recent days thank goodness.

I know I said this last month but please please remind me next time that the hell pit of upswings in weight and no energy to exercise is just my cycle and will pass! You'd think I'd remember given I walk this damn circle every 28 days.

EndlessUserName · 20/06/2020 09:16

So pleased for you @TheHoneyBadger AF is a bitch

I'm officially taking some time off from dieting now. My mental health is really suffering right now, I was putting my low mood down to AF but it has contributed this week despite finishing my AF yesterday, and I'm now getting other physical signs that my mental health is not good right now. I'm so frustrated as I only have 5lb to get to my initial target, but I just can't do that right now. I'll be back sometime :)

EndlessUserName · 20/06/2020 09:16

continued not contributed

EndlessUserName · 20/06/2020 09:17

I don't know why I did a smile either as I'm definitely not smiling right now!

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 20/06/2020 09:41

Sorry to hear that @stopfundinghate. It's hard times for mental health at the moment. I know a lot of people who are spiralling. A break sounds like a good idea. I'm guessing we'll be here when you come back ☺️

Heygirlheyboy · 20/06/2020 09:51

Sorry to see you're going just as I'm coming back stopfundinghate take care of yourself and see you again I'm sure.

Hangoverstruggles · 20/06/2020 12:47

Sorry to hear that Stop. Take care

TheHoneyBadger · 20/06/2020 13:16

Bless you hate. Hope you have some things in your toolbox that you know help you.

I’ll be here when you get back. I’ve got 4 stone to lose Confused

Feel like that makes me sound colossal but lucky to be tallish and long limbed so don’t look as obese as I am.

Shout if you ever need an ear.

Scales down another smidge for me this morning. My in my bubble friend wants to come round for drinks tonight and part of me is like no! I’m doing so well and it will mess things up.

Octopus37 · 20/06/2020 19:03

Thats good HoneyBadger, agree that AF is mean. StopFundingHate, hope you feel better soon, you are doing the best thing having a break, give yourself a break. Hope everyone has enjoyed the sun coming out again. Weighed 9st2 this morning. TBH have eaten chocolate and crisps today so not very helpful, but I am doing more steps and not eating till 12ish everyday. About to have quiche and salad for dinner.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 20/06/2020 19:24

Stopfundinghate - You may know about it already but you cans self refer to local mental health services, you can usually find it by googling IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) and your locality. Hope you have some good people around you lovely x

DH and I walked for 6 fucking hours today. Managed 20 miles. Don't completely know why but it sure was something to keep us busy Grin We've got a big takeaway and treats for dinner thank goodness! God am I sore now.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 20/06/2020 20:15

Sorry to hear that, stop. I wish you well.

Monstera 20 miles! That's amazing, well done. I need to do my 5km jog this evening. We're hoping to head to the Forest (of Dean) tomorrow for a nice walk.

B bacon sandwich
L mackerel salad
D "nach-nos" (fully loaded nachos, minus the actual crisps and cheese! So peppers, onions, salsa, pulled pork, avocado tossed in to a salad)

Hangoverstruggles · 20/06/2020 20:29

Evening all,

I've had a good day today and yesterday to allow for Indian takeaway tomorrow. If I've got the takeaway logged realistically I'm looking like averaging 1300 daily across the week which is an ok deficit for me.

Finally weighed 10st 2 this morning which is my goal. A whole stone shed since Mid April, with a couple of relaxed weeks in between. Really chuffed. Hoping it's not my scales tricking me!

Going to keep going at 1400 a day ish. 10st would be great.

Today

Brunch - 2 boiled eggs, 2 slices of toast, peach, coffee
D - chicken stirfry with quinoa, low cal ice cream
S - banana, cuppa, digestive biscuit

1250

On a side note, I had braces fixed to my teeth today and it's put me off snacking this evening Grin poss a bit drastic purely as a weight loss tool 🤣

TheHoneyBadger · 20/06/2020 21:28

Well done hangover! Really pleased for you.

Few drinks with friend but didn't go mad as I prewarned her I hadn't slept well and needed an early night so she just came round in the late afternoon for a few hours.

No breakfast or lunch and this evening I've had a can of mackerel and a bowl of vegetable soup with a large dollop of cottage cheese. Plus the few glasses of red wine.

Pretty active and tentatively hopeful for the scales tomorrow.

Well done on your walk Monstera - you have definitely earned the takeaway Smile

Hangoverstruggles · 20/06/2020 22:03

Thank you Honey. 🤞 the scales are kind to you - sounds like you're on track for a good result!

@MonsteraCheeseplant 20 miles!!! Bloody hell! I'd say you can eat whatever the fuck you like for the rest of the weekend Grin

MonsteraCheeseplant · 20/06/2020 22:19

Yes massive congratulations @Hangoverstruggles, you've rocked this!

My knee is now elevated and in a brace...

OP posts:
Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 20/06/2020 22:21

Amazing that you've lost a stone @Hangoverstruggles! Congratulations 🎆
I'm at about 1800 calories today
B. Bacon, tomatoes toast & butter, coffee
L. Small jacket potato, cheese, roast veg salad
D. Three beef tacos
S. 4 chocolate Hobnobs, one apple loads of black tea
A day of nice treats after yesterday's fast
I did 12000 steps. Hoping that by Wednesday I have at least maintained.
Maybe I'll try another fast on Tuesday

Octopus37 · 21/06/2020 09:01

Hangover, that is fantastic, a whole stone, you must be so pleased. Honeysuckle Nachnos sound amazing, Nachos are one of my favourite dishes, might try that. Monstera, hope your knee is ok, did you have to go to A&E.
Weighed 9st1.75 this morning, day 4 of not eating in the morning, finding it harder today tbh but will be ok.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 21/06/2020 09:14

Cross post with you last night @MonsteraCheeseplant hope your knee is ok!?

MonsteraCheeseplant · 21/06/2020 09:40

Nah, no A&E necessary, just a bit of rest Grin. It'll be fine thanks for asking. I'm a dummy, we were going to stop earlier and it would have been fine but I wanted to do more.
