Sorry @NerrSnerr crosspost, not ignoring you. Maintaining and learning is progress too! You have a good plan Smile

Onthebrink67 · 08/06/2020 09:29

Well done to everyone who has lost, sts or has a plan. Just over 3lb off for me despite scones yesterday. I’m sure most of it is water but as it just takes me into the stone bracket I’ll take it 😃

Ecci · 08/06/2020 09:45

Weigh in today, 1.6 lbs down for the week, which I didn't expect as I ate a lots of biscuits yesterday.
1 June 12 St 10.6 lbs
8 June 12 St 9 lbs
so I'm getting nicely away from the danger of slipping back into the 13s
Well done to all who've lost or maintained.

Ginandtonic31 · 08/06/2020 09:51

Well done everyone! New week ahead for us to smash it. Think it's an omelette for me once the baby is up.

Irishstout · 08/06/2020 09:57

Hope you had a good birthday @cricketmum84!

Thanks for all those who commented. I've now got a month inbetween job (planned thankfully) so now need to make sure I spend a month losing and not just eating biscuits!!

I had an ok weekend, bit more cheating than I would have liked but I did a 10mile walk (22k steps in one day - record!) Weigh in this weekend and I'm still 12st12lb no no loss to report Sad. Its that TOTM so I'm hoping that next weekends weigh in will be more promising. Trying hard to keep focus.

Hollyhead · 08/06/2020 12:07

Well done everyone on the losses/maintainence.

@ecci I agree it's nice when you get 'away' from a number entirely :)

recklessgran · 08/06/2020 12:53

Afternoon all - I've done it at long last!! Got into the 11's I mean [well only just!]
Today is my weigh day.
Last week 12 st 0.75lbs
Today 11 st 13.5 lbs
That's a 1.25lbs loss but I'll happily take that. Now all I've got to do is stay on task and hope to get to my goal of 11st 10lbs by the end of June.
Well done everybody - there are a lot of amazing losses going on. @GetTheStartyParted I should hope you would be proud that is a stunning loss in such a short time. Hope you have an especially lovely day.
Trying to resist having some toast and marmite to celebrate the 11's even though I know it would put me back in the 12's if I did it. Nope, I'm not going to do it. I'm having tuna mayo and cherry tomatoes whilst telling myself that quote " Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". Have a good day all.

JessJonesJumps · 08/06/2020 13:19

@recklessgran me too! I finally scraped into the 11's! I know I'll probably be out of them again tomorrow but for today I am celebrating! Congrats to us! Star
I did avoid the toffee at the weekend Wink but found some amazing ginger and lemon haribo in our sweet basket which I ate instead Grin We had a supermarket delivery today which I filled with lots of healthy snacks. Currently I'm just trying to avoid all of them. I think even healthy snacking is the road to ruin for me.
So many amazing losses today and lots of exercise too. Well done everyone! DH had an early zoom meeting this morning so I missed my morning yoga. I'll need to try to fit some exercise in later.

Tryingtwo · 08/06/2020 13:50

Good afternoon all, some great losses thiz week congrats all round Smile. Special congrats to recklessgran and JessJonesJumps on reaching the 11's!
Weighed in at 11st 9.6lbs which is a sts from yesterday. Revised target for the rest of the month is 11st 6lbs.

Tryingtwo · 08/06/2020 13:51

This not thiz - sorry

GetTheStartyParted · 08/06/2020 13:53

Thanks @recklessgran I'm hoping to be in the 11s next week! I started at 15st5 and I'm currently 12st1.

Give yourself a pat on the back and stay away from the toast @recklessgran Grin

Well done @JessJonesJumps too Star

cricketmum84 · 08/06/2020 18:25

Hello my lovely losers! Thank you so much for all the lovely birthday wishes yesterday. I had a lovely day and even woke up at June's start weight which is surprising given the Brie and chocolate cake that was consumed!

Today I had a big bowl of cherries for lunch and currently building veggie enchiladas for dinner that I will have with a side of mixed salad leaves.

@recklessgran and @JessJonesJumps YES!! So happy for you to be down in the 11s! The hard work is paying off!

Best get back to cooking! Have a lovely evening everyone x

@GetTheStartyParted that’s an amazing loss! How long have you been going for? Bet you’re feeling great.
Well done @JessJonesJumps and @recklessgran
I’ve had a mediocre day today. Didn’t have much salad stuff left in the fridge so had a bit at lunch with a few cheese and crackers. Dinner of grilled chic

Smarshian · 08/06/2020 19:18

Posted too soon. *chicken rice and veg, trying to resist the ice cream now!

GetTheStartyParted · 08/06/2020 19:49

Thanks @Smarshian I started on 27th Jan, so been keto for 19 weeks. I still have another 3st to lose, my target is around 9st I think.

Good luck resisting the ice cream Grin I start work at 3am so I'm going to bed now, makes avoiding evening snacking so easy!

crivit · 08/06/2020 23:29

I had rude scales this morning. Sunday I was 66kg dead. Monday morning, 66.6kg 😒. It may be cycle related, it may be snack related, it may be a combination. But got some decent walking in at the weekend at least plus it looks like I'm joining a hiking group as well.

A belated happy birthday to @cricketmum84 and congratulations to everyone else for losing, staying the same or just trying to do what they can 😊

cricketmum84 · 09/06/2020 09:43

Morning all! More birthday miracles as I'm down another pound today even after birthday goodies and a heavily stuffed enchilada for dinner last night!

Plan for today is

11ish - strawberries, blueberries, grapes and fat free yoghurt
7ish - leftover enchilada from last night. I always make too much when I'm doing Mexican food!!

I'm sure it'll just be a blip @crivit might be a bit of water retention in your legs after walking and hiking?

OP posts:
Tryingtwo · 09/06/2020 09:55

Good morning all, up 1.4lbs today but as I had a bacon sandwich for dinner and less than 2 pints of water all day I'm hoping that it is just water retention.

Onesmallstep67 · 09/06/2020 11:01

Well done everyone plugging away. Some excellent results. Star
I am doing okay. Struggling a bit with lockdown and the monotony of being at home with the restrictions still in place. Snacking sometimes out of boredom. Going generally in the right direction with my weight, just still frustrated with myself that I am having to re lose the same stone I had already lost. On the positive side I have to remind myself I am still 3 stone lighter than more or less this time last year.
Have a great Tuesday and let's hope that the sunshine makes a proper reappearance soon

Hollyhead · 09/06/2020 13:59

@Onesmallstep67 I could have written that exact message.

Bored at home and boredome snacking - check
Relosing the same weight I lost after Christmas - check

We can do this :)

Tryingtwo · 09/06/2020 20:24

I finished eating for the day about an hour ago but although I'm not hungry I just want to eat and eat. I'm going for a walk shortly to take my mind off food. It's going to be a long night (sigh).

DennySaid · 09/06/2020 22:42

Well done all the losers this week! I've been pretty quiet as my weight is steadfastly staying the same (damn totm) even though I can see on my frame I've dropped a little mass. Trying to keep on at it and wait for the drop! Agree with others that the monotony of lockdown is not helping...

NerrSnerr · 10/06/2020 08:11

I have been eating too much the last few days but I'm back on it today. I have a day off with my 3 year old so we'll have a short walk but not much else happening here.

edwardson · 10/06/2020 08:16

Hi everyone,

I can commiserate with the stubborn lack of losses during TOTM! Thankfully now that's done, things have started to move in the right direction.

June 1 - 10 st
Today - 9 st 11

Really excited about those 3 lbs and feeling motivated to try to keep it up.

Here's hoping the willpower gods continue to shine on us! Good luck everyone Smile

Smarshian · 10/06/2020 08:22

Scales have stayed resolutely the same since Sunday. Think I will try to have a couple of lowing carb days to try to make them move, it usually does the trick. Generally eaten fairly well although a few squares of chocolate slipped in yesterday.
