Anyone up for sorting their lard body out? I've peaked with my fatness and I need to sort it. I can no longer hide. Tomorrow will be the day. Are you up for it too?

I will join you! I've been battling for years, but I need to fix it! I've even brought myself a skipping rope!

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 17:29

@pleasestoprainingplease A skipping rope you say. That's a bloody good move. I will get one too.

Not sure how much I weigh, will weigh tomorrow first thing but I think I will be looking at 3stone to lose.

I'd like to join please, been eating far too much recently and need to lose 2 stones!

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 17:34

Hello @Anotherdayanothernight than you for joining me. Is a weigh in tomorrow morning ok with you?

OP posts:
lou967 · 17/05/2020 17:55

I started on Friday. Aiming to lose 3st. I lost 6st 18months ago to reach 10st. I'm 5'8. I regained 3 over the last year. I'm on 1200 calories a day.

Anotherdayanothernight · 17/05/2020 17:57

Hi Trenchtown, yes I'm in, I guess I will have to face the truth at some point, haven't weighed myself for quite some time...

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 17:57

@lou967 wow you lost 6 stone! That's a great achievement.

OP posts:
lou967 · 17/05/2020 17:58

@TrenchTown DID haha. Yes. I'm back again. I can't maintain. I started a thread in calorie counting. I'm aiming to get into my Levi's 501 jeans.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 17:59

Me neither @Anotherdayanothernight. I need a starting point. I've no idea what the scales will say but I'm feeling uncomfortably fat now. Im not particularly tall, 5'4 so I look really round.

TildaTurnip · 17/05/2020 18:00

Me. I have decided to go hard with Cambridge one2one diet as have so much to lose. Had all the shakes delivered today and starting in the morning.

Newnamechangenewstart2020 · 17/05/2020 18:01

Can I join please, roughly 2 stone to lose!!
Can I ask about the skipping rope how many skips can you do? I use DD and fail after doing a few

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:01

@lou967 I would love a pair of Levi's again. I gave all mine to charity and I now buy jeans with stretch 🤣

OP posts:
TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:02

@TildaTurnip I need to go in hard too. Might get myself on amazon prime.

lou967 · 17/05/2020 18:03

@TrenchTown stretch jeans are comfy but they stretch as you gain weight. Well mine did anyway. Once I've lost it I'm using non stretch jeans to keep it under control. That's why I bought some 501's. fingers crossed I can fit them. Good luck to everyone.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:03

Hello @Newnamechangenewstart2020

OP posts:
TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:05

@lou967 my jeans with stretch are now beyond stretched. I want Levi's in my life. Mine were all 26 inch but I appreciate that is a bit ambitious. I bet they cost a lot now. I want to be able to buy a pair. This could be my motivation.

OP posts:
lou967 · 17/05/2020 18:07

@TrenchTown I bought some vintage ones as the new Levi's have stretch. You could get a 26 waist. How tall are you? Never say you can't reach it as you could! It keeps you motivated.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:10

@lou967 oh ok I didn't realise the new Levi's have stretch. Definitely will find some vintage. I'm 5'4.

Straysocks · 17/05/2020 18:11

I'm in. I actually misread your thread title and thought it said 'peak fitness' but transpires I've actually found my starting point! Two stone to loose, I'm just going to eat less of my normal diet and replace most carbs with veg. Bring it on.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:12

Hello @Straysocks. I can't ever see myself writing the words peak fitness! If only Grin

OP posts:
lou967 · 17/05/2020 18:13

@TrenchTown I was shocked too. When I'd lost weight I went to a Levi's shop and to be honest they're not as good quality as the older ones were. You could definitely get into a 26 inch waist. You can do it.

These are mine that I never fit into. I've hung them up to motivate me. What do you think?

I've hit peak fatness
MillieMoodle · 17/05/2020 18:15

Yes, I'm in! I've been umm-ing and ahh-ing over starting a thread today so thanks for this @TrenchTown, it's very well timed Grin

I'm 12st 7lbs which is the heaviest I've ever been. I'm 5'4". I lost 7lbs in Feb/March but lockdown has meant I've been drinking more wine, snacking more and moving a lot less (as if that was even possible Blush ) as I have a desk job and am working from home. I would like to lose 3 stone in total, but my first goal is to get under 12st!

Wow @lou967 6st is incredible!

I'm hoping if I'm answerable to you all, it'll give me the kick up the bum I need.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:16

@lou967 they look great. I'm envious. I want some.

justanotherneighinparadise · 17/05/2020 18:16

Yep I’m with you. Intermittent fasting works well for me. Im going to give 5:2 a whirl starting from next week. 500 cals on the 2 days 1500 on the 5 days.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:17

@MillieMoodle we are the same height. My weight to be confirmed in the morning.
