I've hit peak fatness

Anyone up for sorting their lard body out? I've peaked with my fatness and I need to sort it. I can no longer hide. Tomorrow will be the day. Are you up for it too?

Me too! This morning nothing in my wardrobe fitted me except for one skirt with an elasticated waist 😳 I've gained a stone since lockdown started.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:19

@justanotherneighinparadise I was reading about intermittent fasting earlier and it sounds like something I could get into.

@TrenchTown haha - neither of us can give up now then Grin

@samandpoppysmummy I daren't try any of my work clothes on. I've been living in leggings and t-shirts for the last few weeks. I occasionally put stretch jeans on if I'm going out to the shop. 2020 has been bad enough for the world, no-one needs to see me in leggings!

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:21

@samandpoppysmummy I am now down to one very over stretched pair of jeans that fit. If I burst out of them I will be well and truly buggered. I will have nothing to wear except for my fluffy dressing gown which makes me look huge.

I am 5 foot 4 and was 11 stone 4 this morning. I wasn't even that heavy when I was pregnant. I'm usually around 9 stone in the summer and 10 stone in the winter (I usually start my summer holiday diet as soon as I've eaten my last Easter Egg).

Anotherdayanothernight · 17/05/2020 18:23

Why don't we all do a weigh in tomorrow and support each other to keep going? I'm seriously thinking of going back to low carb, which worked great a few years ago, but approaching menopause it might be more difficult...

Ringsender2 · 17/05/2020 18:24

I thought you wrote 'peak fitness' and came to find out how you did it!

Haven't read beyond that, but sign me up for some de-larding.

MillieMoodle · 17/05/2020 18:24

@TrenchTown I can't wear my dressing gown any more. I look like a giant Sad it's hideous.

I was 12st 7lbs straight after I had DS2. I got down to 11st in the year I was off work. Then my weight has just crept up and up back to 12st 7lbs again. DS2 will be 4 this year so I've really no excuse. It's not baby weight any more, it's just cake and wine.

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:27

@Ringsender2 I would seriously love to be in a position to write Peak Fitness. Unfortunately, for now, it's Peak Fatness 😂

@Anotherdayanothernight yes yes yes to joint weigh in tomorrow morning.

covilha · 17/05/2020 18:36

Hi- Thanks for doing this @TrenchTown- I'd like to join too please, if I may. I started dieting a couple of weeks ago but struggle to stay motivated- 3 stones to loose! I have started Callenetics again and this morning I think I may have seen a glimmer of a waist...

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:40

@covilha yes please join us. I have no waist, just a barrel there now 😫

OP posts:
MaggieTheFrog · 17/05/2020 18:42

Can I join please?
I've signed to some online fitness classes and I'm doing the 5:2 picking Monday and Wednesday as my fasting days. The other days sticking to 1400 calories and high protein. I always mess up on the weekends.

onemouseplace · 17/05/2020 18:48

Hell yes, I am in. I put on my fat jeans today, and they are getting a bit tight. I'm totally barrel shaped at the moment as well TrenchTown and it's actually a bit uncomfortable sitting down as my stomach pushes right up under my boobs.

Weigh in tomorrow. No snacks, no booze (in the week). Joe Wicks at least 3 times a week. 10,000 steps minimum a day - so I have to leave the house to have a walk.

Anotherdayanothernight · 17/05/2020 18:48

Great, I will post my weight tomorrow morning, not looking forward to that...

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:50

@MaggieTheFrog sounds like you have a plan. Glad that you have joined us.

lou967 · 17/05/2020 18:51

I'll join on here as well. I'm on calorie counting too. But I need all the support I can get. Currently doing 1200 cals a day and walking. No snacks and hopefully lose 3st that I've gained over the last year after successfully losing 6st

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:53

@onemouseplace I'm starting to feel uncomfortable too. I noticed today, whilst sitting on the sofa, I have to sit with my legs slightly apart so that my stomach can fit through the middle. It's not great, I'm starting to feel really self conscious about my fatness.

OP posts:
TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:55

@lou967 I just checked out your Levi thread. Glad that you are joining us too. Good luck.

OP posts:
lou967 · 17/05/2020 18:56

@TrenchTown thanks. You can do it too. Just tell yourself whatever number you see on the scales when you weigh in, is the last time you'll ever see it Smile

Anotherdayanothernight · 17/05/2020 18:57

Lou967, that's great, I need to get back to calorie counting and also low carb, like my food too much!

lou967 · 17/05/2020 18:59

@Anotherdayanothernight I like my food too. It's a shame that once you diet, and reach your goal that you can eat whatever you want and stay slim. Oh well. Best of luck. You'll do great

TrenchTown · 17/05/2020 18:59

@lou967 right, that's what I will do with the scales. Good tip, thanks.

OP posts:
lou967 · 17/05/2020 19:00

@TrenchTown what's your plan? Is it calorie counting, low carb?

Macca84 · 17/05/2020 19:01

Peak fatness here too Sad I've signed up for the Joe Wicks 90 day plan and I start tomorrow - please wish me luck as I'll really need it Grin
