Anyone up for sorting their lard body out? I've peaked with my fatness and I need to sort it. I can no longer hide. Tomorrow will be the day. Are you up for it too?

12st 6lbs this morning. Awful. But 1lb lighter than yesterday so I'll take it!

justanotherneighinparadise · 18/05/2020 08:00

Okay 165lbs this morning. Was 157lbs 8 weeks ago do just over half a stone on. That needs to go!!!!

Twilbury · 18/05/2020 08:02

I can't believe I have let this happen, I really need to get a handle on why I eat the way I do . I have downloaded a book called The weight escape which focusses on emotional eating. I need to actually read it now.

My plan is to follow weight watchers, more because it will give me something to focus on than I think it is a magic fix.
Get out every day.
Actually attempt to use the skipping rope.

Flippetydip · 18/05/2020 08:07

There's no way on earth I can use a skipping rope - my pelvic floor is shot!

lou967 · 18/05/2020 08:24

@incognitomum ooh. Good luck. I'm pushing for 3st off. I'm probably being ambitious

Newnamechangenewstart2020 · 18/05/2020 08:39

Just weighed myself, I'm 12stone 2lbs which puts me at obese on the BMI calculator!!! I weighed in just knickers as well so can't blame my clothes!! I'm going for a 1200 calories a day and try and do a work out at home, still can't go for walks as I've had a cough for over 2 weeks!! Good luck everyone !! Xx

DollyPartons · 18/05/2020 08:49

Fecking 14.5 No good morning now I'm telling myself. Time to think positively!. I'm extremely determined and aim 2lb a week. So I should be 13.12 by 18th June. That'll make clothes feel comfier .
I'm going to: follow slimming world plan; plan ahead the night before;
Write all that I will have for every meal time, only allow, fruit , veggies, eggs as snacks. Start extremely slowly, an exercise routine every day (10 mins a day first weekBlush )

Suns in sky here, what a day to startSmile

Anotherdayanothernight · 18/05/2020 09:06

Omg, I'm 12.9, height 5.9, that's a stone heavier than last summer! Need to act now as ideally I would love to lose 2 stone. I have downloaded MFP, again, and will stick to 1200 calories per day. Have done keto before, it's too hard but will cut carbs as much as possible instead. Let's support each other, I will weigh myself next Monday as well!

NotStayingIn · 18/05/2020 09:07

11stone 8lbs. Oddly I thought it would be more as I feel like I have put on more weight than that. Clothes don't fit, stomach popping out over jeans more, etc. I wonder if I've lost most of the muscle I've been building up over the last year. I guess 8 weeks of doing nothing will have undone all the good work from before.

samandpoppysmummy · 18/05/2020 09:51

11 stone 4 this morning. I am
Five foot four and would like to lose two stone. Good luck everyone, we can do this :)

TrenchTown · 18/05/2020 10:05

Well done everyone for being brave and getting on the scales. I'm still in shock with myself to be honest, I can't believe I've let myself get this fat.

onemouseplace · 18/05/2020 10:47

14 st 5 this morning. That is not good as it puts me firmly in the obese category, not just nudging it like I was before lockdown.

MaggieTheFrog · 18/05/2020 10:56

Weighed this morning I am 11 stone and 5ft 4 Confused

Started 5:2 today feeling a bit peckish already so going to drink some more water

TrenchTown · 18/05/2020 10:59

@MaggieTheFrog I'm feeling peckish too. Usually I've been munching away by now but I'm really trying to make an effort. Something has got to give. I'm way to fat and uncomfortable.

I think I'm at peak fatness too. I've had a hideous few years of illness - I was either a virtual skeleton or steroids chubbed me right up. I lost the weight, slowly and carefully, as I got better. This time last year I was 73 kg. By November I was 67 kg. Stood on the scales two weeks ago and was back at 73 kg. I am really annoyed at myself; I was a bit ill over winter and have had a lot of probs with my arthritis and I just stopped exercising and ate shite. I'm 5'7". The burgeoning spare tyre has got to go!

MaggieTheFrog · 18/05/2020 11:23

@TrenchTown I know! I've been making the kids breakfast and snacks and normally I would picked and eaten with them.

Im going to make of it to 1pm and then have a low calorie soup and save the rest of my calories for my tea. I'm not eating after 8pm at nights either.

MillieMoodle · 18/05/2020 11:34

I did a BMI calculator yesterday and mine's 29.8. I'm a whisker away from obese 😬 Also my skin is terrible at the moment.

I've had two weetabix this morning with semi-skimmed milk. A tea and a coffee but no sugar in the coffee. Water.

Starting to get peckish. But got lots of work to do, so instead of reaching for the biscuits, I've caught up on the thread and am now going to get another glass of water.

KeepWashingThoseHands · 18/05/2020 11:49

BMI 28 - not good!

Need to lose 1.5-2st. Plan is:

1200 on MFP
Lots of water
Exercise 3 times a week and walk as much as poss
16:8 (so that means I only eat between 11-7 right?)

Stop drinking quite some much

May the force be with us!

TrenchTown · 18/05/2020 11:55

My BMI is 27.8. Overweight, really not good.

OP posts:
Naiceandaslice · 18/05/2020 12:49

Snap @TrenchTown I weighed in at 11 stone 13lbs (😩😭) which at 5’ 5” gives me a bmi of 27.8.

Just off to cry in a corner and dry my eyes with the piles of clothes that no longer fit me...

TrenchTown · 18/05/2020 13:08

@Naiceandaslice I will join you in the corner crying. I've never been this fat. I'm 5'4 and 11st 9lbs. I'm so upset with myself. Been keeping busy in the garden for distraction.

1200 cals is hard to adjust to at first but worth it when you see the weight loss.

justanotherneighinparadise · 18/05/2020 13:17

I’m 17 hours into my first fast in ages. I’m doing okay. Bit fuzzy headed as my body has got very used to sugar.

Caramel78 · 18/05/2020 13:26

I’m 5ft 7 and 12 stone 8. I was 14 stone 9 two years ago and managed to get down to 12 stone 1 but I’ve put 7 pounds on during lockdown. I need to nip this in the bud pronto as don’t want to undo all my hard work. I ideally want to get to 10 and half stone by the end of the year. Calorie counting is the only thing that consistently works for me and still allows for the occasional treat every day (I can’t give up chocolate!) I’m going to stick to 1450 calories and do between 5000-1000 steps per day. When I cut my calories lower than that I always give up after a couple of weeks

lou967 · 18/05/2020 13:27

@Caramel78 calorie counting is the best. I'm on 1200 a day
