Morning everyone!

Well done on your losses.

2lb loss for me this week, which I'm happy with as I finally ate some of my Easter egg this weekend Grin

I was going to wait until I lost 3 stone but I was only 1lb away and it's STILL TOMT Hmm It was nice but straight back on it.

So 16weeks = 41lbs lost
Only 3lb lost in May so far.

Onceuponatimethen · 18/05/2020 08:52

Morning all! Very quick check in as have a big work deadline today but dp and I walked 6 miles with the dds yesterday.

But when we weighed today we had both put on 2kg Grin I’m hoping this is muscle or randomness HmmGrin

SconNotScone · 18/05/2020 09:02

Oh dear, weigh in this morning, I have gained a pound. I'm not surprised to be honest, but still feel shit about it. Today's weight is 10st 2.75lb. Almost didn't come on to post that, but figured it might make me a bit more accountable and willing to put the effort in this week. Onwards and downwards.

Congrats on any losses over the past few days. Keep on keeping on!

cricketmum84 · 18/05/2020 09:30

Morning all and happy Monday!

I realised I'm getting into a rut of eating the same stuff all the time so I spent a couple of hours yesterday going through my recipe books to do a 2 week meal plan with all new recipes! I've got lots of lovely salad veg arriving today plus some mandarins and cherries (so excited for the cherries!) and some local fresh honey which at 5.50 a jar I will be hiding from the kids. They can have the Lidl stuff 😂

Some amazing losses already today which are really spurring me on!

@GetTheStartyParted well done! 41lbs in 16 weeks is incredible!

@WhatALearningCurve fantastic loss for this week.

Great loss @recklessgran, I am also living in leggings and tops that are too big. It just seems pointless to dress up for a day of working at the kitchen table... glad you and DD enjoyed yesterday

@grumpyorange don't be so hard on yourself. One pizza one day isn't going to break a whole week. If you had one flat tyre would you slash the other three to make it even?? You can pull this back I know :)

Plan for today is:
B - lots of water
L - cucumber sticks and hummous with a drizzle of chilli oil
D - Indian omelette (new recipe)

Have a great Monday folks!

Morning everyone. Fabulous progress being made, well done Star
I am struggling a bit. Not seeing any particular loss in the last week so still more than a stone heavier than I was a couple of months ago. I sabotage some of my progress by eating when I am not even hungry, probably out of boredom or a degree of stress regarding this current horrible situation we are having to live with.
I have also found it significantly more difficult to lose weight since my periods have become so sporadic.
I just need to refind my mojo.

Tryingtwo · 18/05/2020 10:38

Good morning all, I've finally caught up with the thread but so much has happened in a short time. Congratulations to all who have been losing or just persevering! Sincere condolences to those who are dealing with bereavement.
recklessgran thank you for your kind words and I'm happy for you that you managed to celebrate your daughter's birthday (and that she noticed your weight loss Smile)
We were measuring the dgc height yesterday and dh measured me as well as I was a little worried I had shrunk but I am taller! I was always 5' 4" but when I lost weight last time the dietician said I was 5' 3" which was odd but he based all my targets on that so this time I have counted my height as 161cm for bmi purposes (I wanted the extra cm) but I am 163.5cm. This means I need to reach 10st 6lbs rather than 10st 3lbs to be a healthy weight - yay.
My gain has now gone and I am back in the 11's - my loss for the month is now a whopping 0.8 of a lb but at least it is a loss. 2 weeks today we will be in June so I won't be hitting my target this month but thanks to this thread I may have had a wobble but I've realised that it's not a reason to give up so I'm back on the wagon. Thank you all.

JessJonesJumps · 18/05/2020 11:46

Dropped slightly this morning and I have now lost 1.5 stones since I started in Jan. Hurrah! If I can lose another 1lb this month, I'll reach the 11s 🤞
I know today's milestone is probably just a fluke but I'm going to celebrate it anyway Grin

StudentHelp · 18/05/2020 15:55

I weighed and I’m up 2lb which I’m disappointed about as through exercise and counting calories I should’ve been at 13,000 calorie deficit for the week.

I’m hoping it’s still water weight from my period.

I’ve had a protein shake, a smoothie with protein yoghurt, raspberries, blue berries and coconut milk for lunch.

Done a 2 hour workout and been for a walk. The dog needs a long walk later and I’m having a beetroot burger and roast veggies for tea which will take me to 900 calories.

I’ve also drank 4 litres of water. Annoyed I haven’t lost any

StudentHelp · 18/05/2020 15:56

Well done everyone on your losses!

SconNotScone · 18/05/2020 19:38

@Onesmallstep67 and @Tryingtwo I’m sorry you’ve both been struggling a bit recently as well. My motivation has been really poor recently. Today I have tried to get back to it, and I have done pretty well. However I’ve reached that point in the evening when I start to get a bit bored and a bit munchy, and just want to snack. We’re doing a quiz with friends soon, so will get distracted by that hopefully, and have a big glass of water - yum 😂 Eyes on the prize!

HundredYearOldMan · 19/05/2020 09:52

Morning all, weigh day for me. 14.9 this week down from 14.11 last week. I have now lost 1 and a half stone since my last day of ‘going’ to work (16th March).

I had a terrible sleep last night and I feel weird because I didn’t eat much yesterday to offset a pizza from Sunday night. Planning on sticking to 1200 each day now rather than doing that!

Have a good day all.

JessJonesJumps · 19/05/2020 10:11

Well done HundredYear that's a brilliant loss!
I've not managed to weigh today. We've had a hectic morning. DH is in Zoom meetings all morning and I'm taking DM to a hospital appointment but also trying to get DS started on his schoolwork before I get out. ( and yy I appreciate the irony of posting on MN to say I'm busy! Grin ) Have a good day everyone!

Onesmallstep67 · 19/05/2020 10:13

@SconNotScone, thank you for your positive encouragement. I think because the weight was dropping off me relatively easily this time last year I have felt disheartened that my current efforts aren't bearing much fruit.
But I am more than a lb down from yesterday so that's a motivation to keep going.

StudentHelp · 19/05/2020 11:20

@HundredYearOldMan
Well done on the loss!

I’m back down 2lbs now so don’t know what on earth is going on with me.

Onceuponatimethen · 19/05/2020 17:26

Quick check in! I’m at 75.5 kg but ideally oils like to make it down to 74 kg

I’m exhausted due to trying to balance dds schoolWork and my actual work! Dp and I had a massive row yesterday as well because we are both tired and so busy.

Hoping for a better Wednesday and to see some movement on the scales - fingers crossed!

cricketmum84 · 19/05/2020 18:50

Hey all,

Sorry for late check in today. Been a busy work day and an early start. Snuck in the scales first thing to see I'm down another pound so fingers crossed it keeps going!!

Literally got no food motivation today at all. Had a handful of cherries so far today. Haven't made anything for dinner but will probably be a slice of bread with some mushroom pate or hummous and a banana.

I'm feeling pretty flat and down at the moment to be honest and struggling to find some positivity!

I'll be back tomorrow hopefully in a better headspace and eating less bread!

Onceuponatimethen · 19/05/2020 19:40

@cricketmum84 I am totally with you on the feeling flat front!! Down another pound is very good though Star

I think we are all doing totally amazing and just need to keep going however we can Flowers

SconNotScone · 19/05/2020 20:04

Sorry you’re feeling flat @cricketmum84, I have also been feeling a bit flat and kind of despondent today.

I have to say though, that few calories for the day probably won’t be doing your mood any favours, you’ll be lacking in energy as well as feeling flat. Could you stretch to two bits of bread, seeing as you’re having it anyway? Or the bread with pate, some veg with hummous, plus the banana? Sorry if it sounds preachy, it’s really not meant to be. I just know I would be feeling extra miserable if that was all I had eaten! Congrats on the lb down though!

Good couple of days for me, thank god, after a good few weeks of just not giving a shit! Feel like I’ve got my head back in the game.

Onceuponatimethen · 19/05/2020 20:47

@SconNotScone I think you are right. Definitely worth trying to see if a bit more food helps with mood. I ate spag bol tonight which wasn’t low cal but did help me feel a bit less tired

Onceuponatimethen · 19/05/2020 20:48

@SconNotScone and great news about your good few days!

recklessgran · 19/05/2020 22:34

@CricketMum84 snap! Busy work day here too so it was 2 slices of toast and marmite for dinner for me. I also feel a bit bleurgh - I'm blaming the air pressure or something for us all feeling a bit off. My weight seems to be going up and down a bit but if I'm honest I haven't been behaving myself very well. On the plus side Tu clothing has one of it's 25% off events from today so I've ordered 4 new tops from there to add to my smaller wardrobe. This new clothes lark seems to be never ending!

cricketmum84 · 19/05/2020 23:48

@SconNotScone I ended up having 2 slices with hummous, a handful of baby plum tomatoes, the banana and a small peach.

Joined the no sleep brigade tonight but gonna go up to bed shortly. Good thing is with this wfh thing I can sleep a bit longer tomorrow to make up for it.

Hi everyone. Just catching up to say well done to everyone some excellent losses. My weight is holding at 60.4 kilos. I'd like to get down to 59 but I can't quite face eating any less. Also feeling pretty flat and despondent like a few of year on here. Measures are strict here in Singapore and the weather is very oppressive. Also a few little health isues with DD so feeling the strain of being far from family and friends.
Anyway, I have not started comfort eating or over-eating in general so that's something, and weight is maintaining okay. It's DH birthday tomorrow so 100% having cake for lunch.
