Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

My scales are knackered. Changed the batteries and it still says ‘lo’ (digital ones), so I need to buy some new ones. Grrr

LimeJellyforBrains · 30/04/2020 18:02

Well you are all brilliant, and I thank you!

Merely from associating with you (and ok, not stuffing myself with as many crisps, chocolates and biscuits as before) I have apparently lost another pound!

Considering on 2 days this week my step count was around 300 this is nothing short of a miracle!

Either that, or my scales (or my eyesight) are well dodgy...

LimeJellyforBrains · 30/04/2020 18:43

Ok, I've just realised....Blush

Previous weeks I was wearing my nightclothes. Today naked. There's a handy weight-loss tip for you right there!

hazandduck · 30/04/2020 18:49

Well done everyone for sticking to another week even if the scales aren’t catching up yet it will come! Still not managed to add on to the spreadsheet.

So I’ve lost about another half a pound this week, maybe a pound, however, I weigh myself on a thick carpet and thought I would weigh on the bathroom tiles today. And there was a difference of over half a stone!! Is that normal? I am so much lighter on tiles. But I don’t know whether to trust it? DH tested it too and was the same! So I am way closer to my target weight if I go by the ‘tile weight.’

lovinglavidaloca · 30/04/2020 18:58

@hazandduck I think just pick somewhere and stick with it. I weigh on my bathroom floor which is fake tile lino and weigh on the exact same spot every week using the ‘grout’ lines to get the position right :)

diege · 30/04/2020 23:14

I've read somewhere that a hard surface is best for the most accurate reading on scales, so not thick carpet if possible!

Have kept going with the diet and exercise today and haven't really felt disheartened at all with STS! Give me another week of no loss though and I'll be raiding the goodie cupboards like a woman possessed 🤣

I remember a woman at SW getting weighed one week, with the scales showing no change...She was convinced she'd lost weight and stripped down to her bra and knickers in front of the class and asked for another reading (half a pound off 🤣) I sniggered at the time but I can sort of see where she was coming from now!

helenb706 · 01/05/2020 08:33

Hi all... didn't weigh myself yesterday because I know I have put in and don't want to muck up the spreadsheet with a gain. Felt awful yesterdayas my face is turning into a beach ball and I am heavier than both pregnancies. Today I will start afresh... psychologically better as it us a whole week.until weigh in and it is the first of the month. My 20th wedding anniversary is on 1st July and we had booked to go to Wimbledon for the first time followed by a nice meal. Also intended to get back to.my wedding weight... 2 whole months to do it although Wimbledon now gone.

overwork · 01/05/2020 09:35

I made a chocolate fridge cake last night. and I ate most of it before it got as far as the fridge. Just for something to do. That said, my boyfriend was really pleased with it as it made a bit of a change. So I sacrificed this weeks weigh in to make him smile Grin I'm also back on it today Helen!

Chinks123 · 01/05/2020 10:35

I’m the same as last week, but AF is still here Hmm and I’ve had a rubbish week so I’m pleased I didn’t comfort eat like I usually do. I haven’t exercised at all though, if I’m in a bad mood I just can’t be bothered. I need to get out for a nice walk. Well done everyone!

ListenLinda · 01/05/2020 11:42

Hi all, just checking in and updating weight! Been a busy few days. Was doing really well, until DH asked me to make a lemon drizzle cake Angry probably explains on the 1lb loss haha how are you all doing?

lovinglavidaloca · 01/05/2020 14:18

Hi all! Been baking here too. Now to refrain from eating any. Not easy.

menthollyinsane · 01/05/2020 14:35

I've had to stop baking. I can't trust myself. I scoff the lot 🤣

Hi everyone! DD2 is calling me to do an exercise dvd with her 😩 but all I want to do is sleep! Disrupted night with DS2 poorly with an abscess- stressful day, but got antibiotics eventually!

I would LOVE. something stodgy like Apple crumble and custard, but will have to make do with an apple 😩😩😩

hazandduck · 01/05/2020 19:34

Hope your Ds feels better soon @diege. Toothache is miserable :(

I am feeling so tired today I just want to eat sugary junk. Now I am weighing myself on tiles (thanks for the advice guys) and technically have a bit less to lose as a result, perhaps I could just eat a few biscuits tonight?! I gave myself a reality check earlier putting on some old skinny jeans...squeezed them on just about...and they wouldn’t do up! 😩

OwlinaTree · 01/05/2020 19:54

Evening guys. I'm having a Chinese tonight, hopefully got time to work it off by Thursday!

lovinglavidaloca · 01/05/2020 20:09

Chicken fried rice in this house tonight.

I still have over 300 calories available so will see if I fancy a treat later.

Hope you have a better night tonight @diege.

diege · 01/05/2020 20:58

I've had a nana nap and feel much better 🤣 Also did the HIT workload (feel I'll), did an Aldi shop (empty!) and am now treating myself y to o done rich tea biscuits and a can of diet fizzy orange. Rock and roll! Have a real craving for a pack of Minstrels!
owlina and loving your Chinese food sounds great!
Hazand go on, have a couple of biscuits with me! BiscuitBiscuitBiscuit

LimeJellyforBrains · 01/05/2020 21:33

Did half an hour on Wii Fit this morning and apparently burnt about 117 calories, according to Samsung Health, so that carves a bit off the lovely fry-up we had tonight! Egg, bacon, beans and 1 slice bloomer toast (no butter Halo )

Lovely little nap here this afternoon too @diege but why did you mention Minstrels Shock I so want some now.

OwlinaTree · 01/05/2020 22:34

Had duck pancakes and chicken yuk sung from the takeaway, plus a couple of DH's ribs. Lush. Then a cup of tea, no chocolate, too full!

So glad it's the weekend!

diege · 02/05/2020 10:10

Happy Saturday! 😊 I've finally lost that bloody pound that was promised to me on Thursday - have celebrated with 2 large buttermilk pancakes, which means less goodies later, but they were soooo nice!
May see if I have enough flour left in my dwindling bag to make a Dorset Apple cake today 🤔 Not that I am eating any of my baking, which is proving very hard!
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

lovinglavidaloca · 02/05/2020 10:22

Weekends mean nothing now but yay it’s the weekend Grin

Just going to make a couple of boiled eggs for my breakfast. Will probably have homemade soup for lunch (kids will be thrilled, they’re so fed up with it) and not sure about dinner yet!

I’ve been under my calories all this week apart from 1 calorie over on Thursday. Heading to that 7000 deficit.

OwlinaTree · 02/05/2020 10:37

Well done @diege. Sounds like a lovely breakfast.
7000 deficit loving? Wow!!

I'm still in bed, just about to get up. Love the Saturday morning lie in!

Queenoftheashes · 02/05/2020 12:43

I’ve been for a run but I’m back in bed... on the plus side haven’t eaten anything yet
