Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

-1.6 again... I’ve been very very good. Ten years ago this would have been 3-5 pounds off.

diege · 30/04/2020 09:15

Wow, some inspiring losses here! We'll have a PTCEDYFB party house built of fat bricks before we know it!
Let's keep on going - losers, gainers, and stay-the-samers! We're in this fur the long haul!
Ps. Has the spreadsheet been reposted? #I'malazyarse

HairyMaclary · 30/04/2020 09:21

@menthollyinsane - I agree, I wouldn’t be doing this without knowing that you all were too and there’s a spreadsheet a load of random people can see on which I put my weekly weight! Amazing what tricks we need to help us!
Without this I would still be eating and gaining. Thanks all.😊

Alicatz66 · 30/04/2020 09:28

Oh dear ... pound on !!! ...

sushinelove · 30/04/2020 09:46

3 down for me. I'm pleased with that, it's been a slog this week.

redavocado · 30/04/2020 10:03

Nothing off today but my head is back in the game! I've had a good few days now so fingers crossed for next week!

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 30/04/2020 10:12

My weight is going in the wrong direction Blush

Day time eating is all good healthy stuff but I just can’t seem to stop with the chocolate in the evening! I don’t think I’m even enjoying eating it just mindlessly shovelling in crap once the youngest is asleep Sad I really need to get a grip now

FreckledLeopard · 30/04/2020 10:19

Only 1lb off this week. But given massive loss last week then I guess it'll all come out in the wash.

Rumandcoke41 · 30/04/2020 10:36

1lb off for me this week, I've added to the spreadsheet.
I've been logging everything into mfp with no cheating or exceptions. Wondered how this mornings weigh in would go as I didn't feel like I'd lost any so I'm pleased with 1lb off.

I had planned to do 3x workouts a week and 10,000 steps a day. In reality, I've only done two workouts this week as I've been so tired but I have managed to get in all my steps so I'm not beating myself up about it!
Thinking ahead and meal planning some healthy lunches for work and evening meals the whole family will eat.

@menthollyinsane makes a good point! If I'd carried on mindlessly eating, I'd be getting heavier and heavier, so using mfp and this thread is definitely making me more conscious about food choices!

Having the support on here and knowing you'll all see if I've done well or not is keeping me going. I have a wedding to go to (Hopefully, fingers crossed covid doesn't stop it ) in the autumn so that's my aim for losing weight. There'll be lots of people there I haven't seen for a long time so I want to look my best rather than look back with regret when I see photos! Sad

While losing weight is so hard, it's good to see I'm not alone with struggles and good and bad days.
Well done everyone for sticking with it and good luck for the coming week!

Minnie123456 · 30/04/2020 11:09

1 1/2 lbs off, no idea how but i'll take it as I put on 3lb last week.
How do I write this onto the spreadsheet? I was 192lbs last week, how do you write 1/2 lb? In stones last week I was 13 stone 10, this week i'm 13stone 8 1/2.

Notlostjustexploring · 30/04/2020 11:42

Well done to all the loses, STS, and the gains. Well done just for being here. It's hard enough at the best of times, let alone now.

It was a bad day yesterday. I ate all the food. I'm trying to be kind to myself as we're still all in the middle of a fucking pandemic and currently the only stress relievers really open to me now are food and drink!!!

Mentholly regarding not actually losing weight, but just not putting it on. That is a very good point. I'm having days of eating healthily and not shovelling it all in, and my weight has plateaued instead of constantly going up, so I'm going to call that a win.

*Steala

I've gained a pound. This is not going well. I think my problem is that I identify as a naturally thin person who can eat whatever they want.*

I think you hit the nail on the head for me!!!Grin

Mediumred · 30/04/2020 11:45

no change again, I have been so good with my exercise (skipping, Joe Wickes and have even been for a couple of short runs) and better the last few days with my eating and drinking, I just need to keep it up over the weekend, that’s normally where I fall down and then have to spend all the week trying to shift what I put on. At least I’m not putting any overall I suppose but I would like to shift about 10 pounds. Anyhow, well done to all the losers and good luck to everyone for the next week.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 30/04/2020 12:06

I can't weigh myself because my scales aren't working. This is lucky because I have had one day out of the past seven where I have stayed under my calories for the day. And today is ds3's 23rd birthday, and he wants Dominos for dinner, and has asked me to make him a malteser-base, nutella cheesecake for dessert instead of a birthday cake.

I fear this may not be a low calorie, healthy option....

lovinglavidaloca · 30/04/2020 12:12

Omg tell me more about this cheesecake!!!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 30/04/2020 12:17

I'm going to make the base out of crushed up maltesers and melted butter, then the top will be cream cheese, cream and nutella, beaten together, topped with whipped cream and more maltesers.

Chocolate comes from the cocoa bean, and nuts are good for you, so this is practically a health food.

OwlinaTree · 30/04/2020 12:22

Well done losers, I've lost 1lb, so that's 1/2lb overall!

overwork · 30/04/2020 12:38

Well I haven't lost anything (I can't even pretend to be surprised, as according to MFP if I keep eating as many calories as I have every day this week, my weight will have increased in 5 weeks time Blush). But, as someone here has kindly pointed out, not gaining is also an achievement! I am 5lbs down since the beginning of lockdown though, so it's not the end of the world. Huge congratulations to all of you. Anyone else dreaming of Malteser cheesecake right now?

tigerbear · 30/04/2020 13:20

@YoureMyWifeNowDave same here.
Not even bothered weighing myself today, as I can see and feel that I’ve put on weight.
For the last week, I haven’t even tried, tbh.
No exercise, and been eating tonnes and drinking loads!
I feel awful. ☹️
Going to try to go for a run later.

Well done to everyone who has lost weight, I salute you!

meow1989 · 30/04/2020 13:35

@STDG (too long to type fully sorry!) I think you'll find that that cheese cake contains protein, calcium, nuts and if you have it with a cup of tea, antioxidants so it's probably healthier than not eating it Wink

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 30/04/2020 13:45

I bow to your undoubted wisdom, @meow1989.

The cheesecake is in the fridge, and we have all had a taste of the filling (well, the bowl needed cleaning out, didn't it Grin) - and it was delicious. The recipe said to put sugar in it, but I forgot - and it tastes fine without.

Leaving out the sugar means I can call it reduced-calorie, too!

meow1989 · 30/04/2020 13:47

It might actually be too healthy Shock

JonHammIsMyJamm · 30/04/2020 14:39

Your nickname is right, you ARE a genius, @SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius.

I’ve eaten barely anything today. 2 crumpets with a sad scraping of peanut butter for breakfast and a bag of small multipack sized bag of square crisps for ‘lunch’. Not exactly healthy but certainly low calorie. Chicken stir fry tonight. Plus, have managed 6,500 steps so far with a dog walk and supermarket trip, so not all bad. About to hit the treadmill for the last run of week 3 on c25k before I lose my mojo. I’ve got a new sports bra to test drive, so that’s exciting (sad, I know but I take my kicks where I can). So I will hit my 10k steps easily, get a bit of aerobic exercise in and should do ok calorie wise, so long as I don’t get the munchies later.

I’ll report my weight tomorrow.

kate1800 · 30/04/2020 15:39

My weight somehow stayed the same! Not sure how as I've been eating multiple ice creams a day but I won't complain!

Really enjoying having so many people add their data to a spreadsheet, it encourages me and I look forward to Thursdays now! Well done to everyone Smile

lovinglavidaloca · 30/04/2020 15:50

I’ve burned 529 calories from exercise today so have definitely earned my pizza tonight!
