Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

Oooh fluffle55 I could murder some vegetable gyoza 😍 Have made do with a rather bland vegetable 'bake' and a mini naan for tea, egg on toast for lunch. Snacks have been some sweet chilli Thai bites and an apple. Too stressed on the phone to IT sorting out my work password to eat breakfast (which, in hindsight, I'm pleased about 😅). I cannot be arsed with exercise though! Happy to lie on my bed watching Walking Dead episodes! 🤣
Sounds like we're all doing pretty well, and getting straight back on the wagon when we slip off!

OwlinaTree · 28/04/2020 18:21

Some nice sounding food on here, gyoza, yum! I've had the usual scrambled eggs, loads of fruit, soup for lunch. Stir fry tonight, looking forward to that. Living I'm always hungry when I'm due on and during a period.

Took the kids out for a very wet walk this afternoon as their behaviours was so awful - I got really cross with them actually. They've been much calmer since. Fresh air good for all of us.

Hi all just catching up after missing a few days on the thread! I have been good though, logged in to MyFitnessPal every day and have lost a pound! My calorie limit is 1200 but I add on 400 as I am breastfeeding and I have worked out every other day either jogging or doing workouts at home. Anyone done the 30 day shred with Gillian Michaels? It’s only 20 minutes and I find it the best one for me personally as it is so basic and quick but gets my fitness levels up super quick.
I know it’s only been a couple of weeks but I feel like I’ve lost weight, clothes are a bit looser round my middle! Stomach still looks like a ball bag though 😂

OwlinaTree · 28/04/2020 20:07

I could try that 30 day shred, I wonder if the kids would do it with me? I'm currently walking round the house to get my steps up!

lovinglavidaloca · 28/04/2020 20:32

I just found the shred so boring! Doing the same thing for 10 days just bored me to tears. There’s so many amazing videos on YouTube there’s no need to be doing that. It does get results though.

diege · 28/04/2020 21:43

I've forced myself to do 30 mins of Davina, and have just had the last of my Hotel Choc goodies 😩 Still 130 cals under my MFP limit though. Am hoping to shave a pound off on Thursday, but am realistically expecting a 'maintain'!

Notlostjustexploring · 28/04/2020 22:07

Les Mills Facebook page has actually been streaming some of their instructors, and j e been saving their videos with the best of intentions!!

I managed five minutes of their core session yesterday, and three today, although I'm going to claim two c sections as mitigating factors!!

The only way I've ever lost weight in the past has been when exercise has played a significant role in my life, so I'm hoping I finish one of them by the end of next week!!!

OwlinaTree · 28/04/2020 22:18

Some good plans for exercise this week!

Minnie123456 · 28/04/2020 22:39

I've started to run up the stairs instead of walking, i'm sure my neighbours love me lol

JonHammIsMyJamm · 29/04/2020 08:10

I’m a bit too early to see weight loss benefits in my running programme, unfortunately, but some movement is better than none and it’s all building up a foundation that will lead to weight loss. Plus, when I’m on the treadmill I’m not sat on the sofa eating or thinking about eating, so that’s another positive.

menthollyinsane · 29/04/2020 09:23

Morning all, I didn't feel great yesterday, I had earache and sore throat. Comforted myself by eating lots of toast and honey all day long. I really wanted chocolate but didn't want to drive to the supermarket. Feel lots better today.

Can't believe that it is Thursday tomorrow. That came round quick. Grin

Morning everyone! @menthollyinsane hope you feel better, your body obviously needed that.
How are we feeling about weigh in day tomorrow?

menthollyinsane · 29/04/2020 10:30

@Fluffle55 I'm not feeling hopeful for weigh day tomorrow because I had so much bread yesterday. Bread really bloats me out. Before lockdown I didn't really eat very much bread but now it's a different story.

lovinglavidaloca · 29/04/2020 10:31

Hope you’re feeling better today @menthollyinsane!

Are you all weighing in tomorrow? I’m looking forward to tomorrow because it’s takeaway night Grin

Bit disheartened because that’s almost 4 weeks I’ve been working out 5 days per week and I can’t see any difference at all Sad

menthollyinsane · 29/04/2020 10:32

@lovinglavidaloca I do feel a bit better today, thanks for asking.

Yes weigh in tomorrow and enter results on the spreadsheet.

OP posts:
lovinglavidaloca · 29/04/2020 10:35

Oh another spreadsheeter! Mine really motivates me. It’s sad really Grin

menthollyinsane · 29/04/2020 11:06

@lovinglavidaloca are you on the group spreadsheet?

OP posts:
lovinglavidaloca · 29/04/2020 11:35

Oh no! I thought you were meaning your own personal spreadsheet Blush

menthollyinsane · 29/04/2020 11:43

@lovinglavidaloca a couple of weeks ago AutumnNymph kindly made us a group spreadsheet for Thursday weigh ins.

menthollyinsane · 29/04/2020 11:44

She gives us a reminder on Wednesdays.

OwlinaTree · 29/04/2020 12:21

Sorry to hear you are not feeling so good @menthollyinsane. Look after yourself.

menthollyinsane · 29/04/2020 14:18

I just went to the supermarket and I didn't purchase anything bad. Nothing! My bill was a lot less 🤣

ImperfectTents · 29/04/2020 17:41

@menthollyinsane the tyranny of the spreadsheet followed you to the shop!

OwlinaTree · 29/04/2020 18:01

How are we all feeling with weigh day tomorrow? I'm hoping my 1lb off on Tuesday stays in place so I'll be 1/2lb down in the starting point! Plates no weight gain this week!

Made a soup today, chicken and tomato. Nice, but needed a bit more filling stuff in it, might try lentils or chickpeas next time.

diege · 29/04/2020 19:37

Evening! 😊 Not holding out much hope for a loss tomorrow as have been weighing daily and the scales haven't shifted 😳 I've been keeping under my MFP calorie limit and working out daily, so bugger knows what's going on! 🤪 I won't be disheartened though - not going back now.
