Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

I might try that tomorrow @ImperfectTents! I’ll probably slow them down Grin

Onthebrink67 · 26/04/2020 20:42

Had a terrible weekend food wise. Just felt really fed up and ate everything in sight. Do I have taken myself to bed with a book and here’s hoping tomorrow is a new day. I need to work out why I sabotage myself like this 😞

diege · 26/04/2020 21:04

Evening all! Thanks fabulo - not sure it will look anything like that on me! 😂
I've had a boring day food-wise- lunch and tea identical (yesterday's veg curry) with a mini naan thrown in for tea. Was immensely strong in getting 3 portions of chippy chips from chippy to accompany dcs' tea and only stole 1 (to test) 🤣
I've just finished a Davina workout with dd2 - knackering! Now finishing off 'work' work I should have done last week! 😩
Hope we're all feeling motivated going into our second weigh-in week!

diege · 26/04/2020 21:05

onthebrink hope you're ok? Hopefully some rest tonight and you'll be back on it in the morning x

HairyMaclary · 26/04/2020 21:53

Well done everyone for keeping going, I had a dreadful Friday and Saturday food wise but managed to pull it back today. I’m quite pleased about that as I’m usually a feast or famine type person and don’t do well with moderation! Not looking forward to next week’s weigh in but will continue anyway!

OwlinaTree · 26/04/2020 22:48

Been doing the garden today, we moved recently so lots of weeds to remove. Goodness me I ache!

sociallydistained · 26/04/2020 23:24

Yesterday was a good day... today I ate almost every snack in the house. 🙄

Queenoftheashes · 27/04/2020 06:51

Well it’s Monday now - diet reset day and no more weekend treats!
I’m currently on mumsnet but need to get up and go running with Michael Johnson before eggs on toast and work.

Roast dinner was fantastic but I lost the run of myself . I will pay for this on Thursday and dh made scones with jam and cream.

I have been super disciplined for nearly 2 weeks and then I just scoff my head off. Heh hi

redavocado · 27/04/2020 09:03

I had a really bad weekend and then got on the scales this morning. Terrible idea! But it has made me think that I really need to get my arse into gear and make a plan. I've dabbled in weight watchers for years and still have a subscription so I'm back on that today.

lovinglavidaloca · 27/04/2020 09:07

Weigh in this morning and 2lb off! Yay.

menthollyinsane · 27/04/2020 09:13

@redavocado I do that, have a bad couple of days and then weigh myself. You know it's going to be bad but it does kind of give me a kick up the bum to try harder. Good luck.

140.75 today... ugh. I'm not so bothered when I look in the mirror but I had to film a video for work over the weekend and I look like an overstuffed sausage 😔 I will not snack today.

meow1989 · 27/04/2020 09:16

Oh! I totally thought today was Thursday(even though I referenced the weekend in my post)! Blimmin lockdown, I have hope for Thursday then!

menthollyinsane · 27/04/2020 09:40

@meow1989 I thought today was Sunday. Don't worry, AutumnNymph gives us a reminder on Wednesdays for Thursdays weigh in. 😄

Bum !! Pound on over weekend ! I'm sure it was wine calories..... need to bin the booze and get back on it now

cashmerecardigans · 27/04/2020 10:01

I’ve had a rubbish weekend, loads of wine and lots of unhealthy snacking. I feel really bloated this morning, so will be doing well to have not gained by Thursday.
I’m thinking I might go back to MFP, it’s such a faff particularly when you cook from scratch, but it does seem to work. Partly because I can’t be bothered to weigh every single crisp I eat so I end up not bothering.

ImperfectTents · 27/04/2020 10:17

@cashmerecardigans I cook from scratch and overtime have added most recipes to mfp. Also a lot of recipes are already in the database.

ImperfectTents · 27/04/2020 10:17

@lovinglavidaloca well done!

Minnie123456 · 27/04/2020 10:48

@JonHammIsMyJamm thanks I will maybe try aspirin the next time. On Saturday I was taking paracetamol and ibruofen but they weren't working. Usually the ibruofen works. I don't think I do drink enough sometimes I forget& I had bad kidneys when I was younger which i'm still on tablets for and I think sometimes I don't drink alot as i'm fed up running to the loo lol

Minnie123456 · 27/04/2020 10:54

@Onthebrink67 i'm the same start off good then i'm like 1 biscuit won't hurt which turns into about 6 or moreBlush then I think i'll just start tomorrow so snack rest of day then just repeat that forever, but it's a new week we can do this!!!

diege · 27/04/2020 10:58

2 pounds off is great loving Smile A good, solid SW brick!
I'm feeling disheartened as stupidly weighing daily and the scales haven't moved since Thursday...I know daily weighing is pointless with so many fluctuations, but quite dispiriting when I had been so strong in the face of temptation 🤣 Hoping that'll it will all come good by Thursday 😂

lovinglavidaloca · 27/04/2020 11:36

Thanks all!

I’m not sure if this will help anyone but I’ve been tracking my calories in and out in a spreadsheet which shows me my total deficit for the week. As we know we need to ‘lose’ 3500 calories per week so I think seeing the deficit helps me to see why I might only lose 1 or 2lbs.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 27/04/2020 11:50

Yeah, I’ve been nowhere near dropping the 3500 calls a week. I’ve been very half arsed at this dieting lark. Today has been good and I’m not feeling very hungry today, so hoping I’m starting this week strong.
