Oh @cricketmum84 I figure you must have to crack on if you’re so busy and working the weekend too, but, with all that pressure and also being ill I can’t help but feel you need to rest! I appreciate it’s not always as simple as that. But I do hope you get some proper downtime
@JessJonesJumps every time I log onto my Tesco order, things have changed, it’s a new game I get to play of “guess what’s gone”
What’s annoying is sometimes it says ‘no longer available’ but sometimes items are just gone, and after some staring I go “Oh wait, there’s no cheese!” or whatever it is. But then sometimes it does come back in stock before delivery. I hope you can get as much as possible in your order.
We’ve been fortunate so far, but our diets are restricted so we’re not ordering much of the typically popular stuff, mainly meat and we’re happy to eat slow cook meats, organ meat etc which aren’t selling like the chicken is. DC1 and DC2 have SN and diet is restricted in terms of what they’ll actually willingly eat but at least again some of it is oddly specific and not being rushed as much as other things (cheese oatcakes are their top snack!). My main worry has been milk and eggs, as people seem to be clearing those out and we get through a lot each week, however we’re sorted for now thankfully.
I hope everyone else has enough food and can stay well nourished during the time, regardless of weight loss. It’s easy to stress eat, I’m an emotional eater, I saw a good image online which I should have saved but basically it was about focusing on what is in your control and not what isn’t. So focusing on your day, your wellbeing, taking care of yourself (from hand washing, to what you eat), reducing social media and news overload - rather than what might happen, what other people are or aren’t doing etc. I thought it was a good reminder.
I’ve had a good week however, I’ve lost 1.2lb since Sunday which is good especially as I’m not tracking. But I’m still on ABs until tomorrow which has forced me into a bit of a restricted pattern so we’ll see how I go when I’m “free”!
