64.7kg.

Great news about the rain @DownUdderer.

I’ve stocked up on healthy food that I like so today should be OK.

JontyDoggle37 · 18/01/2020 07:10

@DownUdderer the rain is amazing!
Thank you to @JessJonesJumps for checking on me - have been fighting off a big for the last two weeks and finally succumbed. And because I was ill used it as an excuse to eat crap and drink wine. So up 3.5lbs since Tuesday 🙈🙄😡. Have told myself I need to ‘adult’ today and get back on track.

cricketmum84 · 18/01/2020 08:35

Morning all! Still plodding on with no loss. I've made a promise to myself that I'm not going on the scales now until next Saturday. First full week on blue plan starts today. For anyone not converse with WW plans it means that all of my fruit, veg, pulses and protein are zero pointed but now I have to weigh and count any potatoes, rice, pasta and other grains. I'll get 30 points a day for these and anything else that's not free!

I've meal planned for the week with very low carbs and swapping rice and pasta and potatoes for things like cauli rice, celeriac mash, butternut squash chips.

Out at my sisters tonight for a girly night in, we usually get a takeaway but she's agreed we can pick up a few plant based bits from Asda for her to try :) a few g&ts will also be consumed...

Plan for today - snack on fruit during the day, zero points used! MEASURE g&ts tonight rather than free pour lol!

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Amazing news about the rain @DownUdderer. Absolutely amazing that it's so rare but finally come when it's needed. The images we are getting over here of the animals are just heartbreaking.

@Vebrithien please do delurk sometimes to let us know how you and mini V are? X

Recklessgran bless you thanks, it's ok honestly :)
I am terrible at weighing daily though. 0.5 up this morning but trying to ignore it.

Had porridge with hot water for breakfast. Never actually had scales till now so my first time weighing food and my portion size was shocking. I can not believe how little it is!

KFC for lunch for bro in laws birthday. I don't eat meat and only like salad with loads of mayo. Want to stay home!

Egghead68 · 18/01/2020 10:26

In theory I would like to eat porridge for breakfast too but any decent-sized portion is mega calories. An official standard serving doesn’t seem to be much more than a couple of spoonsful.

64.6kg now after breakfast and a jog.

recklessgran · 18/01/2020 10:27

Morning all. Another half pound down this morning - I'm honestly amazed. I have a fairly busy day planned. Just off to hairdressers after which I need to crack on with making DGS's 21st birthday cake ahead of our family meal out tomorrow evening. That should keep me busy. Wish me luck in resisting when it comes to the decorating though. It will be a rich chocolate cake topped with all manner of chocolates randomly stacked - flakes, orange matchmakers, chocolate orange segments, mini jaffa cakes, chocolate fingers, galaxy counters, poppets, maltesers, revels and a few golden balls scattered about.[He's definitely a golden balls.] I absolutely adore this boy and know he will love it. Just need to wear a mask or something to help me resist picking at the chocs in an absent minded way.
@DownUdderer I'm so pleased about the rain. Long may it last - such a tragedy on such a scale. So sad for you and your country.
Hope everyone else is doing O.K and trying to enjoy the weekend.

Tryingtwo · 18/01/2020 11:02

Morning all, just a quick check in. Weight stayed the same. Yesterday I was 77 over my ideal of 1350 - it was the 160 cal packet of chocolate buttons which I bought for dgs1 but scoffed whilst I was watching his sports club Blush

Ihatesundays · 18/01/2020 11:05

No change but am getting out of 3 day’s of illness. Hoping this is the end of it.
Starting to feel thin so want to keep going now. 4 months till my holiday!

KnucklesMcGinty · 18/01/2020 11:10

Weight up a bit - that'll be last night's toad in the hole! No point stressing over every half kilo though, I'm sure it will go down again soon enough. Have a good weekend everyone!

MsTSwift · 18/01/2020 11:25

Ihate me too very heavy cold meant no exercise whatsoever this week it’s all I can do to function. Massive trip to London on thurs though last minute pre Brexit passport appeal dh watch said we walked nearly 5 miles!

I am falling into a pattern of barely eating then having a big really nice meal. Not sure how good that is but reckon am under 1000 or poss 1500 at the end of the day. Weight fluctuating but basically maintaining my 1.5 st loss and looking thin dh called me “skinny” yesterday Grin

JessJonesJumps · 18/01/2020 11:46

I made an amazing salmon and pea risotto for dinner last night so thought I'd be up this morning but I'm slightly down. Confused
I'm going shopping with DS this afternoon. He has christmas vouchers to spend so will be spending lots of time looking at comics and graphic novels.
Depending on if it's still light when we get back, I'm going to do some gardening which will count as my exercise Grin . My garden looks completely neglected because it's been too wet and dark to do anything with it.
Have a lovely weekend everyone! reckless your cake sounds amazing.

HollyTheHarrier · 18/01/2020 12:39

61.4kg this morning, that’s 1.4kg down in total so happy with that. Might be partly dehydration. About 2kg to go to get back to where I was. I won’t calorie count today, I run a lot at the weekend and tend to eat several small meals to fit around that and counting it all becomes too much faff. But will aim to be conscious of what I eat and aim for protein and nutrients!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Skyejuly · 18/01/2020 13:01

I prefer to have a big meal too! I generally have tea for brekkie then try and have under 200 or 300 lunch then a bigger meal plus snacks. Not sure if this is good but only thing to stop me binging.

recklessgran · 18/01/2020 13:48

@JessJonesJumps I'll try to post pic of cake later. Never tried to post a pic in mumsnet before but will give it a go.
It's odd you saying about your weight dropping unexpectedly after your risotto but funnily enough my weight always drops without fail the day after I've eaten fish. I don't know why.
I've just had some wafer thin ham with the leftovers of last night's Italian salad for lunch and must crack on with the cake whilst the coast is clear. I'm trying to be a domestic goddess today. Rare.

recklessgran · 18/01/2020 17:59

Evening all. Cake completed. Sorry not great pic on account of shadows but you get the gist. Will catch up later.
Got to get on with dinner.

Brilliant cake @recklessgran!

Maintained overnight but had a truly shit day so we're having a Chinese tonight! I did go for something a bit lighter but still, it's Chinese!

NerrSnerr · 18/01/2020 18:37

Wow @recklessgran that's amazing. I think I could eat that whole cake right now!!

I'm plodding on with the healthy eating. I didn't go for the buffet at the children's party I went to earlier and I have a spinning class booked tomorrow.

JessJonesJumps · 18/01/2020 19:32

That cake is amazing Reckless thanks for sharing the pic. Happy birthday to mini-Reckless even though not that mini anymore

Egghead68 · 18/01/2020 19:41

Cake looks amazing @recklessgran and so much more appealing to me than the raw veg I’m currently chomping through!

recklessgran · 18/01/2020 20:26

Ah, thanks everyone. I managed not to eat one single sweet during the decorating. It doesn't seem 5 minutes since I was making his 1st birthday cake. I'm sure he will like it - he's particularly fond of chocolate cake.
I had sirloin steak with pepper sauce, roasted cauliflower [thank you for the suggestion @Cream123] and runner beans for dinner. I walked up to the village today rather than driving as I'm trying hard to increase my steps which is an area I really need to work on. Also I think I need to try to have eggs as my main meal once or twice a week since all this meat is becoming quite expensive if I'm going to be doing this Keto diet for the long term. I'm going to do some research and see what I can come up with so I don't start getting bored.
@Somekindofzilla I hope you're O.K. and had a lovely evening with your friends. Been thinking of you.

y0rkier0se · 18/01/2020 22:40

@Somesortofzilla sorry to hear you’re having a rubbish time at the minute.
I weighed in at 16.3 yesterday, so that’s 5lb loss. Ate well most of the day yesterday, went round to a friends for drinks, had many, many G&Ts Blush Weighed in at 16.5 this morning, but pretty sure it’s from alcohol, hoping to be back to 16.3 in the morning, Haven’t been feeling it today though - had bacon, eggs and beans for breakfast (366kcals), then a slice of lemon drizzle cake when visiting my mum woops. Went food shopping then made a curry for tea, served with oven chips which I weighed out followed by a yoghurt. Totalled at 1495 for today. Then I had 4 mixed grain crispbreads with 30g of cheese on. Trying not to think “I’ve spoilt it now so may as well spoil it properly”. Tomorrow’s a new day.

ValentineFizz · 18/01/2020 23:01

@recklessgran that cake is phenomenal!! Cake

Egghead68 · 19/01/2020 05:28

Morning. 64.7kg again.
Plan: no time for meals (or exercise) today so mainly nuts and fruit on the run although also have a vegan “rainbow pie” from M&S which looks good. Will try to stay under 1600 cals.

DownUdderer · 19/01/2020 06:07

It's lovely to read about other people's food and weightloss, it's quite inspirational. I'm plodding along.

Ihatesundays · 19/01/2020 09:19

No change (also too much gin last night). Well enough to work out last night. I did go shopping yesterday and ended up buy a size 12 T-shirt (I can’t buy size 14 anymore they look ridiculous) and some size 12 jeans.
I’m sure they aren’t really a 12 because they are really stretchy but still feel good.
I also tried on some shorts and they looked awful, still a way to go...
