No...its deliciously ella..

KnucklesMcGinty · 14/01/2020 13:08

NSV: got an old jumper on, haven't worn it in about 5 years Grin

MsTSwift · 14/01/2020 13:11

Keep going cricket and thank you for this supportive thread. I have been really good and losing but feel hideous still from a very heavy cold which just won’t go and to my shame I have just eaten 3 Viennese whirls Shock. Tried to exercise this morning but felt too ill. Skipped breakfast good lunch of poached eggs and spinach then the Viennese whirls fgs

Somesortofzilla · 14/01/2020 13:40

Afternoon all!

Sorry about yesterday, busy few days in the office with events and meetings so I didn't stop Grin Boys had a great weekend over all, DS2 was spoilt. I am lucky to have amazing family and friends who more than make up for that other eejit. Thanks everyone, it's nice to be able to sound off like that, and hearing back from people it honestly just kept me on track, so thank youFlowers

Congrats everyone on your weight-loss and NSV, weigh day tomorrow so I'm being extra good, still on my period and feeling generally bloated and yuck, so a maintain will be great (crosses fingers for another massive loss Grin)

Yesterday was a good day eating wise, and I got a nice bit of cooking done for the next few days and the freezer! I'm happy with the 5:2 definitely something I can see myself doing long term, snacking it seems is my downfall so cutting that out is really helping. Doing well with the water and a FD yesterday went well and today so far so good!

@cricketmum84 sorry you're feeling down, a plateau is normal, up the water intake and move your diet around. I've been told to increase my FD (do 4:3 or an extra mini) when ever I manage to loose enough weight to warrant a plateau, would that be worth trying?

@recklessgran sorry the loss is slowing down, thanks for the exercise tip though. I'll ring John Lewis later to get my steps up! Enjoy dinner today

cricketmum84 · 14/01/2020 14:06

@recklessgran what's OMAD?

@cricketmum84 One Meal A Day. Seems a bit hardcore to me, but I can see why it would work!

Tryingtwo · 14/01/2020 16:02

Afternoon all, this is my first chance to post as I've been to Ikea this morning and a shopping centre this pm. I had porridge at home snd watched my family eat their ikea breakfast fry-ups whilst I nursed a black coffee. Greggs for lunch so I'm currently on 660 cals for the day so far. Yesterday's gain was water and disappeared today - thank goodness.

Cricketmum84 sorry you're feeling discouraged as others have said it's a temporary plateau and the scales will move soon. Your losses so far have been inspiring please don't give up. I don't know much about ww (I did it 20+ years ago) but can you change your plan or speak to your ww rep and see what she suggests? Or perhaps go back to weighing/measuring your food to see whether your portion size has crept up - I know this is something I tend to do ie estimate rather than weigh so I try to reset this habit occasionally.

BeyondFlubeInclusionaryRF · 14/01/2020 16:38

My fast days are basically OMAD and it's working great for me. I tend to have something like an apple for breakfast just so I can take my meds "with food", then I fast right through til dinner.

Weighted in this morning, I'm 17.10 and a half, and DP is 17.11, that's minus 5.5 lbs for me this week and minus 4lbs for her. I have to keep checking back and forth between weights as my daily weigh is in kg but my weekly one in stones and lbs Grin

Egghead68 · 14/01/2020 20:22

I think this is proving to be a really tough month (dietwise) for some of us who’ve been at it for a while.

Let’s stick together and KOKO.

JessJonesJumps · 14/01/2020 20:35

I was doing quite well today until about 4pm when I started eating cracker crisps. Hmm I might try to fit some yoga in tonight.
I'm out tomorrow for brunch with my DB. I'm looking forward to seeing him but not relishing eating out. The earlier I start eating: the more I eat.

Blankiefan · 14/01/2020 20:58

Haven't posted for a while but am largely "on it". Had a great NSV today - I actually enjoyed my running group today! Despite it being dark and freezing, I enjoyed the speed interval training we did. And I wasn't at the back of the group!

cricketmum84 · 14/01/2020 22:33

Thank you for all the support and encouragement guys. I think I really need to up my exercise now and get back into the running. It's just hard when the weather is shit and I'm just so tired.

Meal plan went awry. I ended up on a 6.5 hour long conference call. I ate 3 satsumas. They were tiny though and zero points. I was starving! Anyway lovely DDS was messing around in the kitchen and came in with a bowl of pasta, tomato sauce and veg for me Cos she had seen I couldn't break off from work to get any lunch! It was so filling that I couldn't face any dinner so I stole a few chips of DHs plate and had a banana.

Back in the office tomorrow so I'll be taking some veggie sticks and a pot of zero point vegan ranch dressing to dip them in :)

Can I join please? Grin Been lurking but finally bit the bullet. Starting weight was 16st 8, started 4th January. 4lb down thus far, my first interim target is 15st 7 by 15th February. Using the Noom app which is mainly kcal counting and a bit of psychology it reckons

JontyDoggle37 · 14/01/2020 23:03

@Blankiefan great NSV!!
@JessJonesJumps - come up woth an alternative plan to focus on for later in the day/evening. I’m planning my evening every morning so I’ve got something to do - sorting. Our photos, painting my nails, work (sadly) and it’s really helping stop the snacking.
@cricketmum84 how about something like 30dayshred that you could do indoors?

DownUdderer · 15/01/2020 05:47

Hi everyone. Some good losses for some and some nice NSV’s. Sorry some of us are in a plateau. I forgot to weigh in this morning, I had a headache and was rushing so I forgot. Never mind I’ll weigh tomorrow. I’ve had a lovely dip in the sea today with the kids, we’ve got rain forecast tomorrow. It’s still a hugely anticipated occurrence for NSW at the moment. I did a chicken and veg soup yesterday and I’ll be able to have that again tomorrow. I think we’ll have sausages for dinner tonight. I need to drink lots of water to catch up with my daily intake. Good work everyone.

Vebrithien · 15/01/2020 06:41

Morning all,
Sorry you're having a hard time of it cricket. January can be such a dispiriting time of year, and the weather this week has been truly vile!
I'm still plodding along. Major anxiety all week, as my 12 week scan is tomorrow. However, this is the furthest I've got without bleeding, since having my DD.

Today I'm planning on having wholemeal toast with peanut butter, lentil and veg soup, and vegetable pasta with soft cheese. It's a busy day, so hoping that will keep me from dwelling.

Am about 500g down on my booking in weight, so will see if that continues into tomorrow.

Have a good day all.

Egghead68 · 15/01/2020 06:58

Good luck for tomorrow @vebrithien.

65.2kg.

I’ve got myself some nice healthy food and am determined to be strict today as things have been slipping.

Plan
B: Nut and edamame mix 350 cals
L: Aubergine salad 350 cals, fruit 140 cals
S: Dried mango 250 cals
D: Tofu and greens stir-fry 300 cals
Walking and running.

JontyDoggle37 · 15/01/2020 07:33

Good luck @Vebrithien x
I’m 1lb up this morning, which is annoying, but I had two lots of salty food yesterday so hoping it’s that. Also had 2 very small glasses of Prosecco at an event and then wished I hadn’t as it made me feel rubbish. Hey ho, onwards and downwards today. Have done a very quick weights workout and have a long day of work ahead. Have a good day all!

Trewser · 15/01/2020 07:37

Back to bobbing around the 12.13 mark. Can't wait to get clear of 13 stone.

JessJonesJumps · 15/01/2020 07:48

Sending you lots of good wishes for tomorrow verb.
Jonty that's a good idea about planning evenings more. Our mornings are completely scheduled but our evenings just disappear into homework, dinner, etc and the etc is our downfall.
Yesterday was my biggest eating day since I started. I haven't weighed yet but not hopeful.

JessJonesJumps · 15/01/2020 08:07

Up 0.4lb since yesterday. I'm ok with that considering I ate so much and didn't fit in any exercise.

Ihatesundays · 15/01/2020 08:08

Good luck @Vebrithien.
I can recommend Fitness Blender on youtube @cricketmum84.
No change again today. Busy week ahead too..

Onesmallstep67 · 15/01/2020 08:09

Delighted to see 15st 7lbs on the scales this morning, that's now -4lbs on January start weight. I have got back into my stride a bit more with things - literally ! Did the walk to the doctors and back yesterday, in the rain ! And I had done an hour on and off on the exercise bike on Monday so looks like both of those have helped.

Sending lots of love ahead of your scan tomorrow@Vebrithien Flowers

NerrSnerr · 15/01/2020 08:11

Good luck Verb. Hope it all goes well.

I am 1lb down again this morning so 3lbs since the start of the month. I feel I'm getting into the swing of things. I put on a stone really rapidly at the end of last year so very few clothes fit so I'm desperate to get comfortable in my jeans again.

My main goal is to be a healthy BMI for when we go on holiday in June. Got to look my best for Butlins!!

KnucklesMcGinty · 15/01/2020 08:40

Sigh. Can anyone recommend their scales please?
