Morning @somesortofzilla glad you're feeling better today and that you'll be out amongst friends. Have a really lovely day.
@BeforeIhit30 thank you for your interesting graph and the reassurance for all of us. My weight has remained pretty much static at 13st 10lbs since Wednesday when I weighed the same as this morning. Sigh. Trying not to feel despondent as I haven't cheated once. I'm sure I need to up my exercise so I'm going to work on that next hence today's planned gym outing. Will also try to up the water even more but I'm peeing like a horse already.
Have a good day everyone.

NerrSnerr · 12/01/2020 08:46

I hope everyone has a good day. It's great to see how many are having losses.

I don't think I could do intermittent fasting, although I hear the health benefits are great (I haven't properly looked into it). I am desperately trying to just eat better, have more fruit and vegetables and get back into regular exercise. My children are 5 and 2 and the weight has been creeping up since my second was born (I had HG for the whole pregnancy so wasn't overweight when he was born but I enjoyed eating properly again too much!) I am trying to do 3 exercise classes a week (a mix of yoga and spinning) and trying to walk over 10000 steps.

cricketmum84 · 12/01/2020 09:11

Morning all, back down 1lb this morning. Just hoping it continues in that direction!

@Somesortofzilla have a lovely day today. I hope the rain holds off for you, it's torrential here!

Well done @KnucklesMcGinty for hitting target so early! Yes keep going! I want to know how much you can lose in a month!

It's treat day today, there's an important rugby match on that we all want to watch together so we are making little pitta pizzas instead of a roast dinner. I will just have the one pitta with passata, violife grated and then the gorgeous vivera plant shawarma, wedges will be done in fry light so point free, same with garlic mushrooms. May have some fruit and yoghurt if I get hungry this evening.

Have a lovely relaxing Sunday whatever you are doing!

Can I hardly believe it, but for the fourth day in a row my weight has gone down! Another 0.3kg to take me to 70.8kg.
So close to being under 70kg which is also under 11 stone!
I didn’t think I had been eating that well either.

NerrSnerr · 12/01/2020 09:37

Good luck @Ihatesundays. Hope you get under 70 soon. It's a lovely feeling to see the scales going down.

JessJonesJumps · 12/01/2020 10:05

somesort sounds like you have a lovely plan for today.
@JontyDoggle37 happy Sunday!
I'm down half a pound since yesterday which is surprising because I thought yesterday was a scale blip. The floors in our house are so uneven, the scales flip out all the time even when I place them in exactly the same spot.

Onesmallstep67 · 12/01/2020 10:45

Happy Sunday everyone. I absolutely love the support that is given on here, no matter what may be happening Flowers
I was 15st 9lbs when I weighed earlier , having teetered just above 15st 7lbs yesterday. I had a bit of a snacky evening ( out of boredom ) I am going to try to get in a walk and a session on the exercise bike today. Enjoy whatever your day has in store.Smile

AdventureTravelDreamer · 12/01/2020 11:03

Morning all. So sorry you had such a shit morning yesterday @Somesortofzilla, hope you have a lovely day today Flowers

Was very strict food wise yesterday as I knew I was going out and also did loads of walking and I have lost the small gain from Friday night so am feeling in control this morning.

Off to meet a friend for a hilly dog walk in a bit and think we are going to the gym later so hopefully a good day ahead calorie wise. Also need to food plan for the week ahead too.

Tryingtwo · 12/01/2020 13:53

Somesortofzilla I have an ex son in law like your ex, he saw his sons at a contact centre then decided the staff were incompetent, the centre was grubby and he wasn't coming again. He too had a marked preference for dgs1. My blood boiled reading your message. Some people are just a waste of air. The waste of space hasn't ruined your diet, you had a moment and now you're back to it. Hope you have a fantastic day Flowers

I set my target this month for 5.2lbs down and as of today I am 5.6lbs down and have lost a total of 3st 0.4lb. My next mini target is 13st 5lbs (20% off from my start weight) so let's see how close I can get to that by the end of the month.

Trying two, that's a brilliant weight loss, so impressed.

JontyDoggle37 · 12/01/2020 19:31

Evening all!
Hi @JessJonesJumps!!
Completely forgot to post this morning, it’s been such a busy day. Have managed 15k steps today, and no alcohol since Fridays mishap. I’m not calorie counting at all, just trying to eat sensibly, keep an eye on portion size and not snack a lot. I went up in weight slightly yesterday and today but that’s the aftermath of friday’s blip, so I’m not worried, especially as I’ve hit 15k steps today and 21k yesterday! Really pleased as I’m aiming to do 10k every week day and 15k on weekend days, so an overall weeks target is 80k, and I’m currently on 86,048! Smashed it!

Egghead68 · 12/01/2020 19:45

I have had the day off, and some mulberry gin, after being disheartened at my lack of progress (I know that’s not the attitude). Will be interested to see what effect it has on the scales tomorrow.

beforeIhit30 · 12/01/2020 20:55

I’ve had an unintentionally light day - I’ve only had 770 calories so far (that is so not me, haha). Unlikely to go wild given the time so might just have some berries and a hot chocolate and will find myself well within limits and remarkably low on fat (...compared to my normal, that is). May wake up really hungry!

@NerrSnerr HG survivor fist bump. Took me a little time to ease back into my normal/healthier way of eating after giving birth, I was still scared that I might bring stuff back up Confused and then I had several weeks (months?) of eating All The Foods Grin

AdventureTravelDreamer · 12/01/2020 21:18

@Tryingtwo that's an amazing loss, well done!!

Calories around 1300 today though not the most nutritional given there were some skittles and party rings in there!! Anyway I'm happy with that given that I spent over 1.5 hours hill walking with the dog.

recklessgran · 12/01/2020 21:38

2 scrambled eggs for brunch. Steak and salad for dinner.
Went to look at new gym - I didn't really like it to be honest. I think it's too big and too busy for me. No good joining if I'm not keen on the place is there as I'll just avoid going.Think it's going to have to be back to gorgeous, swanky place but I can't find any fees listed on their website. Doesn't bode well does it? DH and I will go over there next weekend to see what the deal is. If it's too expensive we will have to try to build much more walking into our days. I'm almost too ashamed to admit that my average daily steps are under 3k. Definitely need to fix that. @JontyDoggle37 I am in awe of your step count - what on earth have you been doing to achieve that?
@Somekindofzilla I really hope you've had a great day and as a result having a bit more luck on the food front today.

cricketmum84 · 12/01/2020 21:42

@recklessgran do you have a puregym near you? They are cheap, no monthly contract and a lot have a ladies only area which is nice :)

OP posts:
recklessgran · 12/01/2020 21:49

@cricketmum I've just looked it up and there are 2 in my nearest town about 10 miles away. [We're quite rural]. The one I like is more of a country club but is only about a 15 minute drive as opposed to half an hour to the nearest Puregym. Thanks for the headsup though I will go and have a look as I need to find the right place but then weigh up if the costs will be worth it. I know you can't really put a price on your health but that's the reality isn't it? Cost!

DownUdderer · 13/01/2020 05:10

I'm feeling a bit more focused today. The kids are still on the summer holidays here and I'm finding it much harder to focus in general. I've not been snacking today.

Skyejuly · 13/01/2020 06:47

I checked out with under 1300 yesterday. Not feeling much different yet which is usually when I pack the diet in but standing strong. Only have whole milk this morning and I needed a cuppa...so.not a brilliant start!

tibni · 13/01/2020 06:56

Slipped over weekend a little but overall still doing ok! New job v full on but I'm not comfort eating!
Have a good day all Smile

Egghead68 · 13/01/2020 07:27

64.4kg. Finally a loss after 8 days on 64.8 or 64.9kg (and a day off yesterday).

Back in the game!

Happy Monday everyone!

JontyDoggle37 · 13/01/2020 07:46

Morning all. 12st 4.5lbs, which is a tiny dip back in the right direction. Made the mistake of getting on my scales twice this morning, and there was a pound difference between the two so went with the higher one..food is all prepped for the day, doing really well with drinking lots of water too. Onwards and downwards!
@recklessgran my 21k step count was turning my horse out and bringing him in (longish walk to the field), a 45 minute in-had walk with him round the farm, an another 45 minute walk round the woods with the dogs and DS. Plus all the usual running around. I ache! 😁
