Totally not the point but you have really nice handwriting @cricketmum84 Grin mine seems to get worse!

DdJames · 11/01/2020 14:18

I've just done a quick step workout followed by a Jillian Michaels shred it kettle bell workout. I already know I'm not going to be able to move my arms tomorrow.

cricketmum84 · 11/01/2020 20:39

It's quiet here today! How is everyone?

I was having quite a good day. Tuna salad for lunch. Traybake for dinner but I've just had some ice cream. I thought I was better having a little drop than denying myself for hours and finally giving in at 10pm and eating half a tub! I'm going to do some circuits before bed.

Egghead68 · 11/01/2020 21:04

1550 calories today, nearly all for breakfast. No exercise as too busy. If I have’t lost any weight by tomorrow I’m going to rethink my strategy.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

KnucklesMcGinty · 11/01/2020 21:14

I had decided to relax a bit over the weekend, but actually today worked out pretty much on-plan. My appetite has definitely reduced, and I'm in the habit of just eating fruit now if I fancy a snack.

cricketmum84 · 11/01/2020 21:14

I've had wine tonight but only 2 glasses and both topped up with lots of mineral water. With that and food I've used 20 ww points so I'll get a carryover on weeklies which should cover for the pitta pizzas I've planned for tomorrow!

Tempted by a strip of chocolate soon but will be good and just have the one strip.

Hope everyone has had a good day so far.
I have mainly engaged in displacement activities today in order to prevent myself from eating/thinking about food.
Spent some time this morning sorting out my wool stash [keen knitter] I found several garments half made so have added "complete at least one of the part finished garments" to my goals for 2020 list.
Decided to case the new gym tomorrow instead of today as we got rather engrossed in the decluttering in the end.
Chicken salad for dinner and a black coffee. And 2 squares of dark chocolate.
DGD aged 2 is here whilst we babysit. We adore her but it's a bit like having a liquidiser without a lid. Between us we have trashed the house. She is currently in the kitchen with the long handled dustpan and brush instructing DH on how to complete the "important job" of sweeping the floor. I have now been summonsed to go upstairs to play "boing"[ in other words jump on our bed].
@somekindofzilla I hope your little fella enjoyed his party and that your day improved. If not there's a new one tomorrow!

Somesortofzilla · 11/01/2020 21:15

Evening all! Today was a write off, DS1&2 had access with their dad today. Although it was DS2s birthday he bought DS1 presents. This is despite me reminding him 2 weeks ago and twice this week. There is a long history and sadly this isn't the first time and won't be the last that he forgets DS2 exists. At least access is only for an hour, it didn't take too long to bring them back around.
I'm sad and ate 2 slices of his bday cake, packet of pom bears, A LOT of sweets. No dinner or lunch, loads of coffee, I'll start afresh tomorrow. Just crying and eating chocolate and getting it out of my system. Doesn't help my period also started today.

JessJonesJumps · 11/01/2020 21:18

Flowers somesort I'm sorry you've had a bad day.

cricketmum84 · 11/01/2020 21:21

@Somesortofzilla omg! What a sorry excuse for a father he sounds! How is DS2?? Was anything said?

Sending hugs, please don't cry. Those kids are so lucky to have you xx

SomesortFlowers hope you feel ok soon.

Xx

Egghead68 · 11/01/2020 21:35

Flowers @Somesortofzilla. I hope your DS2 was able to have a lovely birthday despite that.

Somesortofzilla · 11/01/2020 21:36

Thanks @JessJonesJumps

@cricketmum84 access is supervised in a centre, I only found out when the kids came out DS1 brandishing latest ps4 game, nerf gun, and sweets and DS2 crying with empty hands. The staff didn't understand what exactly had happened until I explained. They saw him in the morning, so by the time his party started I'd smoothed it over. They both had a great day, DS2 had a great time, loads of cuddles, spoiled rotten. I know they're fine, but I'm not, he's ruined my fecking diet, bloody cockwomble

@recklessgran is there room under the patio? I'll dig myself

Ecci · 11/01/2020 22:30

Upupandiwent I'm mostly eating what I used to eat but low fat versions, cutting out pasta, potatoes, rice, desserts. I have lots of fruit, and smaller portions. Today I had toast for breakfast, a cup of ginger tea mid morning, lunch was 5 fish fingers, an apple, a pear and a kiwi fruit, dinner was roast turkey, carrots, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and parsnip. I often have Waldorf salad for lunch, but made with fat free yoghurt instead of mayo. I would say I'm not following any particular diet, just less. It's very easy to let portion sizes increase, and I do have to guard against that. I walk about 3 miles daily with the dogs, and that does happen every day. This is the least I've weighed for many years and I've still got a long way to go, but I feel so much better, and that's hugely motivating.

recklessgran · 11/01/2020 23:13

@Somesortofzilla I am utterly speechless and sending you the biggest hug and handhold from here. No need for you to dig - I'll dig the deepest hole for the b***d if you send me his dimensions. No one will ever know. Just remember that you are ALL that your DS's need and they definitely don't need him! xx

cricketmum84 · 11/01/2020 23:22

I'm with @recklessgran. I'll be round with my shovel in the morning.

KnucklesMcGinty · 12/01/2020 07:12

@Somesortofzilla. I'm sorry. What a shit. Do you & @recklessgran need an alibi?

Egghead68 · 12/01/2020 07:13

Morning. 64.9kg which means I haven’t lost anything all week.

It seems that around 1550 to 1650 calories must now be my maintenance level, which is useful to know, at least.

Time to start cutting calories further.

KnucklesMcGinty · 12/01/2020 07:22

I've lost my 3kg. Think I'll just carry on as I am, as I've got into an easy routine.

Egghead68 · 12/01/2020 08:05

Looking back I weighed 65.3kg on 1st Jan, had got down to 64.9kg on 5th Jan and have not lost anything consistently since then.

My goal for the month is to get to 62.8kg which means another 2.1kg to go. This is a 16170 calorie deficit to build up in 20 days. If my maintenance calories are now 1650 a day this means I need to eat roughly half of this a day (about 840 cals a day) or fast every other day. Yikes! I don’t think I’ll be making my goal this month. Will just have to get as close as I can.

Somesortofzilla · 12/01/2020 08:09

Thanks everyone. Tea party at @recklessgran house this afternoon, complimentary mud masks, no questions asked Grin
I'm not today, I had my moment, the boys are fine and we're going to the woods today for a nice stroll and meeting friends for lunch after.

Onward and downward!

KnucklesMcGinty · 12/01/2020 08:09

Goodness @egghead68!
I couldn't function on that amount of food.
Good luck!

Somesortofzilla · 12/01/2020 08:09

That should say "I'm on today" , honestly I can spell

Egghead68 · 12/01/2020 08:23

Hope you have a really nice day today @somesortofzilla.

I’m not even going to attempt it @KnucklesMcGinty
I’ll just do my best.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.
