Morning all! And welcome to the December edition of lose 7lbs!

A huge to welcome to the newbies, long term followers and contributors and the lurkers!

I would dearly love to lose 7lbs in December but accepting that I'm probably going to relax things a little, have some chocolate or some cheese, mulled wine and stollen.

I will still be following ww and 16:8 most days. I'm also going to try stay mostly vegan with the exception of local eggs which I think should help me stay on track!

Stats are:
Dec starting weight: 18.13
Dec target weigh: 18.7
Loss for November: 3lbs
Loss for 2019: 6stone 5lbs

Happy December to all and let's get our festive groove on!

Morning all, up 1lb today, but I went over by about 400 calories yesterday, and Didn’t drink enough water. I’m not beating myself up though, because a week ago I probably had a 1,000 calories more than that, and a few glasses of wine to boot, so it’s a massive improvement.

Klouise777 · 14/12/2019 08:30

Hi anyone here doing noom and tell me how much it is?? Can't find any prices unless I enter my details which id rather not do and find the price first? Thanks

cricketmum84 · 14/12/2019 08:58

Morning all! Happy Saturday.

I'm still 1lb up but that's a good thing after my bad couple of days this week. Ww points reset today and I will be tracking EVERYTHING! Couldn't get out of work at lunchtime yesterday so ended up having nothing but a graze box between waking and 8pm! Then couldn't find the LM duck at the the supermarket but found vegan kebab meat!!! It was lovely with a little added cumin and chilli in a wrap with lots of iceberg, pink onion and soy yoghurt.

Plan for today is to have the rest of the kebab meat in a wrap with salad for lunch. Youngest DD has asked for party bits tonight for the strictly final. I might just make some potato wedges as they are free and some veggie sticks with soy yoghurt and mint dip.

Working all day today so not much time for anything else.

Have a lovely day everyone!

200lbs (14st 4lbs) today 1lb down since Wednesday. I've changed my target from 14st 3lbs to 14lbs 2lbs because then I will be (just) under 90 kg and my BMI will be below 35. Hope I can get there before Christmas. It should be doable but I have another meal out tomorrow and as it is at dh's aunt's house I haven't got a clue what she will be cooking so I can't plan and although we have been invited for 1.00pm, I know from past experience that we probably won't eat until about 3.00 or 4.00pm so not eating breakfast is not an option. Just read that back and it sounds like a moan but it wasn't meant to be, dh's family are lovely and very good hosts so it should be a good day.

DownUdderer · 15/12/2019 03:16

I’m 3lb down for December so far. I’ve been snacking this weekend though, so that doesn’t help.

I’ve got steak and steamed veggies planned for dinner.

I think I’ll have a walk around the neighbourhood this evening to get some fresh air (although it’s still a bit smoky).

Egghead68 · 15/12/2019 05:07

Some good losses, especially considering it’s December.

66.4kg this morning so .2 down. I’d dearly love to be 66kg by Christmas but I’ve got three 3-course Christmas dinners (two on one day!) so it will be tough.

Plan today: 1400-1500 cals of salad, fruit & Christmassy snacks. Lots of walking.

Egghead68 · 15/12/2019 05:09

Should say 3 dinners are this week - more next week obvs.

7Worfs · 15/12/2019 08:10

Okay, 3rd day in a row under 61kg, there is a very very slow loss happening.

I ate chocolate yesterday, sampling a brand new to me (Chocolonely), it’s good. I moderated my greed impulse and didn’t overindulge, phew!

Putting the Christmas decorations up today, and doing the cards for my neighbours. Xmas Smile

Happy Sunday!

lilgreen · 15/12/2019 09:12

Whoop whoop another pound off after a static week. 9st 9 now so only 2lbs to go to reach my target so there is a chance I’ll get there by Christmas. That’s my aim- present to myself. Keep going everyone, slow progress is better than none.

Ecci · 15/12/2019 09:20

Still 14st 1.4lbs (197.4lbs), but have had 2 Christmas dos this week and another today. I'm going try try to get under 14 stone by Christmas, as a present to myself. Should be possible, hopefully.

twolungs · 15/12/2019 11:08

Just caught up on reading the full thread. Some amazing losses and also inspiring to read about people's menus.

I've had a 4lb loss this week, which is unheard of for me. Might have to change the Cronometer settings if it continues as that's not quite right! I did change my height down an inch - I always thought I was 5ft 7 then when I went into hospital they measured me as 5ft 5.5 (this is years of office work and poor posture for you!). I started off as 5ft 7 in the app then just changed it to 5ft 6 so maybe that's it.

Anyhoo I'll take the win. 7 weeks or so until my next hospital appointment (waiting for a date) so feeling fairly confident. Also chuffed as I've managed healthy eating for 7 months this year. I have been a stress/emotional eater managing only 3-4 months, if that.

Less confident about whether I will be following an exercise routine as still feeling super crappy with this virus. I am forcing myself out for a walk every day, its so cold though! Will keep perservering.

lilgreen · 15/12/2019 11:20

Yesterday’s food:
B: whole meal toast, poached egg
L: whole meal pitta, slice of smoked cheese, salad, apple
D: quorn and veg stir fry with noodles, 2 glass Pinot Grigio

MsTSwift · 15/12/2019 11:34

Maintained my stuck 10 half stone which is an achievement I guess as been out 4 nights in a row! Will go back to fasting early part next week

cricketmum84 · 15/12/2019 12:16

Some great losses coming in, well done all especially in December!

Back on my green tea and lemon today and broke my fast with an apple at 11. Trying to have one every day and really enjoying them!

Dinner is a mushroom and spinach curry with cauliflower rice.

I've decided to swap plans on ww from purple to green for the next couple of weeks. The only free foods are fruit and vegetables but I get a lot more points every day. I keep going over points on purple on Christmas treats which then makes me not want to track so hopefully a bit more freedom will get me over the Christmas period!

Baking with DD today - she is making iced biscuits for her school party and I am making DHs favourite winter spiced biscuits. Sure I will end up having one later :)

Have a lovely Sunday everyone!

Total write-off today - Indian street food and lemon drizzle cake. My willpower was no match for such deliciousness.

Must be strict tomorrow.

Megsmcgoo · 15/12/2019 18:10

Inspired by the soup I’ve made some roasted butternut squash soup. Weekend was not ok plan but will be back on plan for tomorrow woo!

Nothing happening this week other than a work Christmas dinner on Thursday so should be a fairly easy week - she says!

Hope everyone’s had a good weekend!

lilgreen · 15/12/2019 20:46

B:whole meal toast, small avocado mashed, espresso
L: mixed salad, apple
D: roast chicken, 3 roast potatoes, leeks, carrots, green beans , cauliflower cheese, 1 Yorkshire pudding.

Egghead68 · 16/12/2019 06:28

66.7kg. Plan: only fruit salad (140 cals) till 5pm Christmas meal then Stilton salad (leave some of the Stilton), butternut squash tart (leave the crust) and sorbet. I’m hoping at the moment to make it to a 7:25pm Bodyblast class afterwards (this is not a meal people tend to linger at) but this might be unrealistic, especially if I have a glass of wine.

Ihatesundays · 16/12/2019 07:45

Just checking in with no change

cricketmum84 · 16/12/2019 08:18

Morning all and welcome to Monday!! And day 16 of our December challenge.

I haven't weighed today but was pretty virtuous yesterday, even turning down the dark chocolate truffles DH got out at 10pm.

Plan for today is my daily apple to break the fast at 11, lunch is mixed berries and alpro plain yoghurt, maybe a drizzle of honey depending on if the berries are a bit sour? Dinner is smoked cod with a couple of new potatoes and some tenderstem broccoli and asparagus.

Wfh today so really need to be strict with myself and stick to the plan!

MsTSwift · 16/12/2019 09:10

Fasting until lunch. No turbo today as starting a cold and no energy

Lunch nigella red cabbage and carrot coleslaw made with with low fat yogurt and low fat mayo
Dinner home made veg curry on small plate.
Aiming to be sub 1000 if not 900 every day this week

Katinka2 · 16/12/2019 09:12

Morning all, been some good losses and lots of people keeping on track.
Weighed this morning, having decided Monday is my weigh day, lost 2lbs. I’m feeling a bit disappointed as have found the past week tricky and has seemed like a long week. 2lbs was my goal though, just I need my mind I thought I might of had another pound more loss.
I’ve got to look more long term though as know each weeks losses(hopefully) will add up to a half stone over a month. I have got a pair of jeans on though that haven’t been able to wear for months if not years and they feel sooooo comfortable.
I’m living in a house of 3 tins of shortbread none of which I’ve bought.

Have a plan in place for a tub of heroes which are calling me. I’ve taken out 7 of my favourites and put them in a glass jar. Plan is can only eat them over course of week until next Monday when I replace with 7 or less, more, hopefully if I’ve not managed to eat them. Glass jar is important for me as they are then “ok” and not an endless number in tub that I can keep dipping into without mindlessly eating. The chocolates seem so small.

Have re discovered twigglets which are helping with crisp urges.

Tryingtwo · 16/12/2019 09:45

Yesterday was not good food or drink wise. 2 glasses of non-alcoholic wine plus a small glass of red and 2 glasses of lemonade, christmas pudding and cream, cheese as well as a large lunch. Then at about 9.30pm 2 slices of dominos pizza and a slice of garlic bread. Oink oink
I am still down a lb for the week but yesterday I had been down 1.8 lbs. I've had porridge for breakfast and plan to have chicken salad for lunch, chicken and green veg for dinner and to be around 1200 cals per day for the rest of the week.

DownUdderer · 16/12/2019 10:55

I’m staying the same this week, that’s better than a gain though so I’m ok with that. I walked and walked today and my legs are aching. I didn’t walk yesterday though, I just felt too lazy to go out. But today I did 9km.

Koko everyone!
